Angelique shruged, "It seems many are simply drawn here perhaps it is something in the land itself," in a more serious tone she added, "I wish you luck in finding your lifemate, I understand how difficult it can be for a Carpathian at our age to be alone..."

Angelique hoped inside that she was right as well. Over the many years she had seen too many of their males devoured by their darkness and too many of their females die so young. But she had also seen males on the brink of turning find their lifemates...
Experience had taught her that faith preceeds the miracle. To find your lifemate, you must first believe that they exist and then the task is simply finding them before time runs out.
As all these thought swam about deep in Angelique's mind she smiled, "Miss Angelique?" she laughed slightly, "Please, there is no need to be so formal, just call me Angelique."

Khira nods "Yes, I just hope that all of us find our lifemate, if not only for our sakes but the sake of our lifemate and the future of our people. Our race is still small although not as bad as it was such a short while back. We are still losing many of our males and in turn our females."
