METAL FREAK87 Sir Random Hero Hem Kahn whiterabbit6600 metallica their latest cd sucked. they try too hard. they should just quit while they are ahead 'nuff said Quit while they are ahead? That's kind of hard as the last time they were ahead, was back on Master Of Puppets or possibly at the latest ...And Justice For All. xp Justice was cool 3nodding Yeah Justice kicked a**. Justice Was Great.

Sir Random Hero Samael no Oni Yeah, I agree about Metallica. They should have stopped after the Black Album...just after the apex of their career.
I can't think of any other band that hasn't aready quit. I must say again, Justice was pretty ******** cool Yes Do NOT Forget ...And Justice For All

VampyreSupremacy metallica.....as everyone says....its true though....they gotta stop now....but about superjoint ritual...theyre ok....theyre pretty good live...but id rather see pantera.... Dude Are You On Crack? SuperJoint Is A Friggin HORRIBLE Band. They Come On And I Chuckle At There Playing And Then The Vocals Come In And Dude....Lemme Tell You A Stroy. The First Time I Heard Them....I PISSED MYSELF!

Ok Here Is My opinion On Who I Think Should Quit. One Superjoint Ritual. Horrible Horrible HORRIBLE Band. Aerosmith. Ok Now I Loved Ozzy in Sabbath. But Ever Since He Left Them I Have Had Somewhat Of An UNDYING HATRED For Him. I like Some Of His Music But Man He Needs To Stop Before He Dies On Stage He Is Rich And Old Has A Wife And Kids He Just Needs To GO HOME. Now For My Opinion On Metallica. I Think They Need To Put Out Another Album And Let Us Se How It Sounds. If It Sucks As Bad As St.Anger Then They Need To STOP MAKING CD'S. They Should Keep Tourning But Just Play There Old s**t. And For You Who Say Dimmu Should Quit You Are retarded They Are A Wondefull Band. And For You Who Say Slayer Should Stop....Don't Make Me Kill You.... God Hates Us All SUCKED. But They Are Still A Friggin AWSOME Band.

Nyghtbringer Best be careful for such opinions, Solarfall97, I got slammed for the same thing in the Cannibal Corpse thread. I'm not the biggest fan in the world but I don't hate them either. They've done some stuff I enjoy but most of the time I can't tell one song apart from another. I just feel that 9 studio albums down the line, they haven't progressed one bit from their original sound so I don't really feel they've got much of a point carrying on. Just my take on them, that's all. I do get slammed for some of my views and I'm pretty immune to silly criticisms by now. But if things simply get out of hand here I can exact mod powers if need be xp Worry not.

man im just overwhelmed with the metallica count on this
i have to admit tho i read alot of stuff here that made me laugh, agreed with and disagreed with.
metallica..so st. anger sucked..oh well, im not a HUGE metallica fan but i respect my metal roots and they are one of the many metal bands that kick started my engine into metal when i was younger. so dispite st anger wasn't good, u gotta show respect. from everyone here i know their might be a few that still respect this band but i know alot might be younger and just be harsh on them. if they can still kick ur a** at a live show then they have no reason to quit. if ur the only one that didnt get ur a** kicked out of all those thousands of ppl in the arena then dont make ur opinion above others cause ur not their voice (not saying anyone did that here but i have talked to ppl about this before)
cradle of filth, i know i keep hearing these guys name brought up and ppl just attacking them "he uses a voice box"..guess what..he DOESN'T. i have major respect for this band and are one of my favorates. all their albums are good and live shows are awsome. if u dont like dani's vocals or the band itself then dont listen. tho it can be hard not to lol it does stand out. but over all (and this my opinion) i dont think they should quit at all.
now for bands that should quit...... i got two words:
nu metal
sad that some nu metal bands that do have potential in becoming a REAL metal band dont try to or ether that...cant..
so heres my 2 cents and my opinion

Amen to that. But I do not understand it. When I was younger I really loved Metallica! I think, as I progressed in my music, and they progressed in their age, I began to dislike them. Now, I can hardly stand their music, and will prefer almost any other metal over them. They are not heavy metal. They are sold out, and should be taken out.
