Taifa grew agitated an uneasy as she sat there, staring blankly at the remote dunes.
Where did all these cubs come from?
There were hardly any adults around...specially males.
She sighed.

Elli slunk away after tagging Kichea, realizing the older cub was to busy to notice her, and froze when she caught sight of a purple Lioness at the edge of the sea of grass. The female looked rather bored and very irritated. Elli decided to slink around her, and changed direction in the grass without so much as a ripple.

Taifa growled at herself when she realized she was drifting away to her thought world again.
She concentrated her senses on reality, and could pick the faint scent of a young female she didn't recognize, but upon lookin around for the source, she didn't see a thing.
With a yawn, she became immovile again.

Elli had frozen when she heard the Lioness sniff for her... She felt she didn't want to come to the attention of one who seemed so, irritated. She barely stiffled a sneeze, and then a sigh of releif when the Lioness turned away from her....
'Close, way to close.' She thought, then lifted a paw and began to slink onward, barely even with the lavender female.

Sebastian grinned and hopped down from the boulder landing next to her. "A huntress huh? Weeell..... I suppose you might make a good huntress. With a little more practice of course." He grinned at her and then swished his tail around his paws, the little feathers making patterns in the sand.

"I know. Today was my first time participating in the hunt... normally my mother does all the work... and i watch..." She sighed, and lay down, resting her head on her front paws, staring at Seb. "But i think i did a good job... i'll do better when im bigger." She added, her eyes glowing with anticipation.

((I love the pridelessness idea, Widdle Bwack Kitty of Doom! (Because that's what I'm calling you, duh. XD) So Ikichi and Kichea go around by themselves...))
Ikichi smiles, prowling into the area. "Of course Kichea will become a valiant huntress. It is in the blood of our lineage." She added, quite serious: "It is a tradition for the females of our family to set out to train our cubs in SOLO hunt... until they become full-fledged adults and skilled warriors, we mustn't bring them back to the pride. If they fail, though, they are killed." A dark look spread across Ikichi's visage, and she thought back at her first cub, that she had raised to adulthood before the pride had deemed her unworthy. "Yeah! Teamwork is for wusses!" She had thought that because training solo made one stronger, teamwork was not required. Because of her, when they had been presented a bigger and better prey, she had destroyed their chance of catching it. Ikichi sighed, but then smiled at Kichea, knowing that she was not nearly as unsociable as Eicha.

"Hullo Mother." Kichea smiled up at her. "This is Sebastian. He's my new friend." She introduced her mother to Seb, the added, "He wants to be strong."

Rath awoke from his spot near the water and opened his eyes, blinking a few times before standing andstretching out his legs.He let out a soft yawn before walking torwards the water for a quick drink.

Enjiru, startled to notice a black and green cub slinking it's way to the water. Finally, I know there are others! The grey cub thought to himself. The cub trotted next to the black cub and lapped up some water while sniffing at the air. Ahh, another male! His private thoughts contuined, I wonder what this cub is like. He cuntiuned to lap water, waiting for the other one to make the first move.

Rath stopped drinking as another cub came up and starting lapping up water.His tail flicked upwards once before he stood up straight.Ears perkded forward he turned and started walking away, his head turned slightly so as he could keep an eye on the other cub.
Iari bounded away from the water torward another tree.She leapt up and started climbing it as fast as she could."Up, up, up.She stopped about halfway up the small tree and looked around.
Amai stood and dragged herself out of the dugout, frowning as the hot sun beat down on her dark coat.Slowly she walked torwards the shade of the trees around the oasis, her tail hanging torwards the ground behind her and causing the feathers to draw through the sand."Why does the sun gotta be so..hot!"As she reached the cool shade she sat down.

"Hello sweetheart." Ikichi looked at Sebastian and smiled. "That's a good goal. Maybe if you and my daughter want it, I could bring both of you hunting- with the permission of your parents, of course." She briefly wondered if Seb was a hybrid. It looked like he had the elements of a tiger... and a panda? She blinked, confused for a moment.

The other cub didn't say anything but Enjiru knew the male was watching him. Enjiru grunted his annoyance about have to do everything around here. "Hello." He simply started.
