Dodge: 3+ 16 = 19 Attack: 15+ 2 = 17
Takara landed roughly on her back. She cringed and grabbed her shoulder. He was good, she smirked at him, better than she thought he would be. She quickly rose to her feet and backed away from him. She knew better than to attack without a plan when up against a person like him. Using only a split second to think up what to do next--she did not get very far, though, as her adrenaline was getting the better of her--she rushed forward, sidestepping behind Karite, and turned to face his back. Clutching her bokken with one hand, she slammed her foot hard into the wooden mat, pushing her body forward, and slashed upward in a diagonal line. It was a move similar to what Megumi had used on her the other day, though she put her own touch to it.
Hp: 24 - 14 = 10
((arg! karite!!! I'm getting Mizu to remind me to kick you on tuesday.)

"Che, I can't see how somebody doesn't enjoy a good spar..." Gabriel groaned inwardly, yet another attack dodged! He's too damn fast...how am I gonna land a hit on him! His mind frantically raced to find some sort of strategy or plan to smash through Rikou's iron defense, but nothing was coming to him. For now, he'd just keep at battering at Rikou's defense until he cracked. "I'll give it to you though, you're good at dodging and evading." Gabriel wiped a few beads of sweat from his forehead with his robe's sleeve, knowing that he had the luxury of pausing in battle since his opponent was refusing to attack.
He looked over Rikou's style, it was fairly standard, if a bit too defensive for Gabriel's liking. Hmph, he's holding out his bokken at a slightly increased angle, probably for discouraging more charges from me...I'll show him how crazy I can get! That was Gabriel's style of fighting after all, very aggressive, and a tad reckless sometimes. But while it certainly offered much more to lose then a more reclusive style, it also offered an equal chance of gaining just as much. That was how Gabriel worked, a complete gambler when it came to fighting.
Gabriel charged forwards once again. "You gonna stick your bokken out at me like a tree branch?!" Coming into attack range, Gabriel swung his own Bokken into Rikou's, batting it away and off to the side, giving Gabriel just enough free space to bring his own Bokken into an upwards slash aimed at Rikou's torso.

"The reason this is so difficult is simple," He said calmly as his bokken was thrown out of the way like a twig in a torrential gale. If the blow struck him Rikou had no doubt in his mind that he would break something, the material of the weapon being beside the point.
At the last second Rikou reversed his handle on his weapon and parried the blow up and wide. He then rolled around his exposed side and, for the first time, actually made a serious attempt at hitting his opponent by putting his strength behind a powerful thrust to Gabirel's ankle. "Your playing to win, Im playing not to lose."

"Yoooosh! Gettin serious then?" Gabriel's fighting spirit renewed itself instantly. Fighting Rikou before had been like swinging a stick at a paper bag caught in a whirlwind. At least now, his reflexes would get some testing, and Gabriel would be able to continue his onslaught. He quickly dug his heels into the ground and leapt back several feet, avoiding the strike to his ankle and putting a few feet between the two. "Yeah, well, playing it safe just doesn't work for me..." A slight smirk played onto Gabriel's face. "For me, it's all or nothing. That's how I've always been." His smirk quickly switching back into that look of intense concentration, Gabriel leapt forwards and swung his bokken down at Rikou's shoulder.

Karite was so lost in battle that he was not at all affected by Takara's current attack. He quickly shook himself out of his lust for battle. He seemed to be forming his own battle plans on the fly. Karite was ussualy headstrong bust through and attack, but now he was thinking weaken then kill. The hunt had lifted his technique. He was hungry and he wanted to win, but he had put Takara's large asset in the back of his mind, her speed. Which played a big part in this round of their fight.
Dodge: 5+14=19
Attack: 9+7= 16

As he doged the next blow sent in his direction a grin, no, a smile crept up his up till now stoic face. "What can i say to that? Fighting is different for everyone, personally i never really enjoyed it, but that dosent mean I'm bad at it." He said as he brought his weapon up again.
Keeping to his strategy of targeting stress points Rikou set his sights on Gabriels knees, If i can land a solid hit across the knee caps this fight will be a lot easier. With the flat side of his wooden blade he attempted a slash at his opponents legs.
(Doge + 20/ Attack +6...unless your roll a zero i think i missed xd )

"Heh, I got you to smile! I must be getting somewhere then, I'll just have to see if I can't change your opinion on fighting!" Instead of bothering to deflect the attack, Gabriel took it a step further and jumped straight over it, curling up his legs to just barely avoid the bokken's path. He's trying to immobilize me! He thought in slight concern. Now that Gabriel actually thought of it, one good strike to the knee, and his speed would be drastically lower than before. He quickly took a quick mental note. Gabriel, still in mid air, raised his bokken and made a vicious horizontal slash aimed at Rikou's neck.

"Normally im more cheerfull than this," His speech was interrupted as he ducked under the attack so that he could continue, "but like i said when i arrived, i had a long night." He continued as he took his next target.
With all the finesse he could muster Rikou poised the blade and attempted to deliver a single stab to the right shoulder where the joint met. He wasent strong enough to pull off heavy hits like the one he had just avoided but it had always been more his style to widdle down an opponent with small pinpoint attacks.
(Doge +20/ Attack + 6 eek Holy pie! thats the highest ive ever rolled...ever)

((Argh, you lucky b*****d! ))
"Gah!" Gabriel raised his bokken to block, but the pin-point strike was just too precise for him to block in time. It hit his arm directly on the bone, forcing his arm out of the socket and making him drop his bokken. "Dammit, You got me!" He just barely managed to snatch up his bokken with his left hand and leap backwards. Gabriel knew he was hit, but he was wondering why he'd dropped his bokken, and also his right arm felt strangely immobile. He looked down, and his eyes widened slightly. "Bwa? Hey...my arm..." Looking down, he tried to make his limp arm move, but reacted with a puzzled expression. He grasped his injured arm with his left one, and with a horrible cracking and wrenching noise, forced it back into the socket without the slightest hint of pain.
"Now...Let's get back to it!" Leaping forwards, he sent yet another powerful attack Rikou's way. A simple slash aimed at the torso, nothing too special.

(You know, I keep forgetting to roll damage. >< And I've hit my partner like..3 times now. Meh. I guess from now on I'll start rolling damage when I hit. Rofl. Almighty Raptor Jesus, what a dodge. o_o Meh, I have to pull back the attack now that I think about it.)

As the blade came at his neck, Megumi just used the most famous move in the book. Quack. You got it, a solid duck. Still, he also makes a slight turn to one side, and in doing so, yanks his weapon back. He has the strength to do it; But it means he has no attack this time around in retrieving his weapon. He stands there with a smile..and tips his head, those violet eyes sparkling..
"You've got an interesting style..it changes a lot. You confuse your opponent..or you would normally. An adaptive style is really the only way to defend one's self. Conversely, an adaptive style typically has weak main attacks except in rare cases..it's good to meet an opponent who is.."
The man just chuckles..shaking his head. He forgets that being in control needs to be inconspicuous as possible..he almost said it's good to meet an opponent who's closer to his age..but Megumi's only a few hundred years old..must remember to keep such things as they would be if the lad was in full control. Still, he was only supplemental. He kept order.
"Regardless, you're good. My blows haven't been good enough. I'll have to rectify that. I'll get serious now...My apologies for not doing so early. I'm normally not serious about any opponent until I've seen them fight with their all."
And he raises the wooden sword, and moves into what's almost a dueling position..and salutes, before just..laying it down at his side, and standing there..
"Kuro Ouji Sen Ni Hyaku Juu Ichi Shiki..Kin Yaiba Alhazzad!"
And his eyes take on a glow..what style is that he's using..he called it Dark Prince Style; 1,201..Forbidden Sword Alhazzad..but what the hell is he talking about? Still, that tattoo of his is moving as well..the rose has turned black now..the phoenix, violet flame instead of black..and where his voice was soft, it's now actually male sounding..

Not taking more than a moment to revel in his miniscule victory Rikou backed off, "That dident sound pleasant." He said with a grim expression on his face. "Perhapse after this class is over we should get that checked." He said seriously.
As the next attack came he backed up just enough to allow the attack to slip by. If i was hit i would have just given up... then again i may still give up. Getting kinda tired again.

"Heh, you don't have time to worry about me!" Not giving him any recovery time after he dodged, Gabriel was right on his heels. He raised his right arm for the attack, feeling a slight jab of pain in the process. "Tch!" He gritted his teeth and banished the pain from his mind with a bit of conscious effort. Gabriel gripped his bokken with both hands, switching the main source of power from his right arm to the left, and brought it down at Rikou's shoulder with all his might.
((Roll+6 Geez...my last three rolls have all been below ten, this is aggravating. D=<))
