Miles rolled his eyes. "You will. 600mph." He flipped the switch. "Get faster, or you'll be dragged back onto the floor." He then watched the gauge as it went higher and higher as he ran.

His eyes narrowed. "That's IT! I'm gonna run like I never ran before!" He then ran at full-speed, creating a blue wave around him. "H-huh?! Why did you guys turn blue?!" He cried out, his eyes shifting toward them, confused. "That ain't normal!"

Miles smiled, then watched at it went 1000mph....2000mph....3000mph....
"Okay, stop! You'll break it!" Gerald walked over and shut it off, then looked at Miles. "Freakin' make sure it doesn't break, alright?"
"Alright, got it. Shade's turn, Sonic." He said, then pulled him off it. "And stopping kicking your legs in the air. It hurts."

"Awww, but I was just gettin' started!" He wailed as he was carried off of the conveyor belt. "Alright, Shade! Have fun on the thing! It'll be a walk in the ARK!" He was then put down, and he couldn't stop but tap his left foot faster than he'd gone on the conveyor belt. "And now we watch Shade run at super speed!" He chirped, then placed his hands in a thoughtful position. "I mean, he should go as fast as me, even faster! Shade complains lesser!"

Lillian walked into the room as requested, looking over to gerald "Sir, is zere something you...aww!" she smiled at shade and sonic, kneeling down to the two "I assume ze project was a success, zen! And how are you two doing, now?"

Sonic glanced over at Shade again, then looked up at the funny lady with an accent. "Uhhhh...we live, that's a good thing!" He said, trying to lean to her size, but it was a futile effort. He supposed that was something he could grow out of...maybe. "We're just having fun on a conveyor belt at the moment. Somethin' about checking speeds."

Lillian giggled at him, smiling warmly "Oh, a physical? I hope you've been good...how fast did you run, little guy?" she said, not expecting much.

Miles replied to her instead. "He ran at 3000mph before the Professor shut off the machine so that it wouldn't break. I was starting to spark already." He shrugged. "Guess he did turn out as fast as we wanted."
Shade got off, his physical done. He was only 1000mph below Sonic's final one, which Gerald reported as he wrote down the results and filed them into folders and drawers. Then he walked over. "Mrs. Kruich. How'd you like to take them to go meet Maria and the others? I still have work to do, but Miles can accompany you."

Lillian was looking at tails, then sonic oddly "Ran...3000 miles?!" she looked over to shade, whom just finished at 2000mph per hours "Ermm...sure! hey you two, lets go meet ze rest ok?" she smiled at miles "Coming?" Still, this was all amazing yet odd to her. These little kids could run thousands of miles per hour!? What was this project all about, anyways....

"Alright." Miles said, though his look said that he'd rather bury himself in a pile of books then be around people. It really was a bad idea to go down to Earth and see his brothers.
"Al~RIGHT! We're gonna see the oth-ers! We're gonna see the oth-ers! Whee!" Shade said gleefully. He, like his brother, seemed so much like a young child it was unbelievable.
"Calm down. We already have a few rascals to worry about." Miles said, gripping his forearm. "Wait until you see them before you start trying to compete with them in annoyance."
Shade's eyes widened, then he looked at his brother. "AL~RIGHT!"

Lillian led them off to the more civilian areas of the ARK happily, still looking around as she was new, there was lots to be seen "Ze area must be amazing to you two...I assume zey haven't been out of zeir room before, miles?"
((yes, she calls him miles rather than dr. prower. Shes not one for formal titles.))

He chuckled. "They haven't even been awake until today, Ms. Kruich." He turned to her. "Why do you not call me by my title, as others do?"
"Professor!" Reia said, running over. "I'm so sorry, I'm...oh, is this them?" She said, then bent down to scoop up Sonic. "He's so tiny!" She said, an adoring expression on her face.
He nodded. "Yes. This is them. Sonic Prower Robotnik and Shade Robotnik Prower." He motioned to each of them. Shade was clinging to his hand to tightly it hurt, so he gently removed his hand and then shook the life back into it. "They've much potential in them."

Lillian smiled "Ze thing is, it just sounds too formal. If you prefer ze title, thats fine. I just tend to see you more as a friend and less as a coworker.." She looked at shade and sonic, then back to miles "potential? What for? You know, you never mentioned zeir purpose..."

He blinked, then nodded. "I suppose you have a point. If you feel more comfortable using my name, you are allowed to do so." He said softly, then his expression changed. "Their purpose?" He looked at the two of them. "They, and their siblings who are soon to be created, will bring peace to this poor, tormented world."
Reia blinked, then opened her mouth slightly in an "o" shape. "Really...? Such an important responsibility...don't you think they wouldn't be able to handle it?"
"They will." He smiled softly again, looking at them. "After all...they are reaching their full potential even at just this age."

Lillian smiled "World saving heroes...a noble project miles..." she looked at the two, it was ahrd to imagine they could, but she had a good feeling they would live up to their purpose well..
