((Yay for Rhina! blaugh ))
Turning to see Admalia, Dias scoffed. Why would they need to be assigned to a field trainer for such a simple task? Dias leaned back upon his chair as he thought this situation over. He glanced to Janet as he opened his mouth.
"What? We're not good enough to do this on our own? We're not children now, you know! I don't see why we have to be babysat by this woman!"

"These are your first real assignments. The elders want to make sure nothing unexspected happens and you don't come back. Its not a matter of not being good enough. Its a matter of learning things you can't in this classroom." Admalia said cooly. She remembered her first mission....she wished that they had sent a trainer out with her group. Only three survived...out of a group of ten.

Dias turned to Admalia, sounding somewhat irritated.
"The unexpected? Oh, right, so we'll get attacked by a bear? Honestly, I don't know why we bother..."
Dias shook his head.

"Dias, a bear is the least of our concerns, and you know it" Brendan said. "My brother disappeared six years ago and I'm not planning on going the same way unless it means I can find him. I'm quite sure it wasn't a bear that took him." Brendan gave him and angry look before the memory of that night came back.
His brother and him had been at a friends place and were going home where they were attacked by a dark figure. It had tried to take the both of them, but as Brendan was hanging in the grasp of the stranger, he had somehow managed to make a stone from the side of the road fly and hit the stranger hard enough to drop him on the ground. When he got up, Brendan had gotten a last look into his brother Brandons eyes. That was the last thing he had seen from him, but he knew that his brother was still somewhere. The bond between them that had been there since birth still remained. It had taken him a long time before he had dared go outside after sunset after the disappearance of his brother.
"What exactly are we supposed to do?" Brendan asked as he returned to reality. "Are we supposed to just find out what is is that has been attacking people or do we try to kill it?"

Dias glanced over to Brendon, a bit shocked. He also knew there was something... else... out there. Albeit frustrating to not know.
He tried to shake off a feeling in the pit of his stomach. It had been so similar to Bredon's loss... Dias' parents had just outright dissapeared. It was dismissed as a murder at the time it happened. Having had years to brood upon it, Dias had turned to Mary's Rose. And now, for the first time, he felt as if he'd finally found his answer. If only he could wait a little longer...
Dias frowned at Brendon as he spoke, although, deep inside, he had a bit more respect for him than before.

Admalia looked at the two young men before her before moving her gaze to the rest of the students. "I am to destroy the cause of the disapperances. You just have to show me your tracking skills." She crossed her arms waiting for their reaction to that information. She could see that some werre eager to prove themselves but that was not always a good thing. Many had gone into this field of work and not come back because of it.

Mysty nodded, moving her hands from her temple, a stern look on her face, "They really wouldn't have sent Miss Granger along if she wasn't needed." Turning to Janet she asked, "You..the Church...wouldn't mind if I came along...would it?"

"You may go but no one else. Too many people on one assignment is not a good idea." Janet said as Admalia nodded. "Its hard enough to hide four scents from these creatures. Anymore and it would be a give away to our location before we know theirs. While you are in the field its like a deadly game of hide and seek." The woman was very serious about this. They were young....and she didn't want to see any of them get killed the first time out.

((I noticed this just now... Admalia and Brandon have a lot of things in common. They both have the ability to read peoples minds, they both have a sibling that has become a vampire and they both are trying to find and save them. xd ))
Brendan glanced towards Mysty for a second, wodering why she asked for permission from the church and not the teachers to come along. It didn't hit him until now that he had never looked into her eyes. He found it strange, but decided it was no big deal. He didn't have to know the secrets of every person in the world, after all. His gaze turned to Alyzandra for a moment before he handed her a note. "You don't seem to be payig any attention" he told her before handing her a note. "You should go home and study for tomorrows pop quiz." He then turned to Dias, since he was the closest one. "I think we should divide us into groups on two before we go" he said. "We shouldn't go alone, no matter how strong we think we are, and we'll cover more ground if we don't go in one large group. Also, we might risk to scare whatever that is out there away if we are too many. What do you think?"

((really...that is interesting. We will see how things turn out then.))
Admalia stood next to Janet listening to them plan how to go about doing things. She was interrested that Brendon was trying to take charge and map out a battle plan. It was a step up from some other students. Dias, she thought for a moment or two. He might be about the same in leadership skills. Hopefully they would see that spliting up was not neccicarily the best idea in this case. If there were mass disappearances then lowering your numbers would make you easier targets. Also there might be more then one opponent seeing the statistics of how many people has disappeared.

((I shall make my entrance now.))
In the darkness of the underground, the raven haired one seemed to glide over the wet stones. Sapphire like orbs glowed in the shadows, seemingly hovering in a luminescent white form that was her pale skin. What little light fell was made brilliant by the snowy white of her face, a ghost in the night.

Dias shifted his glance to Brendan as he spoke. He shook his head, eyes now focused on the ceiling above.
"Well, I'd rather not have everyone split into a group. I honestly don't need the rest of the group to slow me down... Why don't you just go off and do your own little thing. I'll be too preoccupied with more important stuff when we get there, for obviously they have more of a use for me..."
Dias grinned as he stared at the floor, still evading eye contact with Brendan. Although what Dias had said was quite selfish, there was some other meaning behind it.

Finding a certain shadow, she stroked it gently with a slender finger and it immediately engulfed her. The shadow brought her inconspiciously into another dark corner in an unfamiliar place. There was another there, conversing... She drew closer in curiosity.

"I don't give a damn if you're the queen of England" Brendan shot back. "You're not moving out alone. Period. It has nothing to do with how good we think we are ourselves. Look, I understand if you want to show off, but this isn't a field trip." Under his breath me muttered "Arrogant son of a..." There was no point in arguing with Dias. He wouldn't look into his eyes, and therfore it was impossible for Brendan to figure out what was going on in his head.
