-thinks about his words for a moment, then smiled. She pinched herself lightly once more to make sure it wasn't a dream. And it definately wasn't..that hurt! She giggled at herself then looked to Kaoru-
Your mother is so very kind. I am feeling to happy that she asked me to do something so important
-when she noticed Kaoru stop for amoment and spoke, she stopped too and looked to him. A light blush came over her cheeks. She really didn't think of herself in such ways. It made her feel conceided. But she couldn't help be happy. she noticed Kaoru walking again and then followed him-

"You're welcome, Leia-san" he smiled to her and walked her to his limo. They both got in and he looked to her.
"To the ice cream parlor...oh!" he blushed and gave her a really cheesy smile.
"You wouldn't mind having dessert with me before going home would you?" he asked, hand on the back of his head, scratching nervously. He didn't know how to act around someone he liked, but didn't know too well. It was different around Haruhi...he knew her and the reluctant attitude she had. He liked playing around, but with Leia...it was as if anythign he did would offend her. He didn't want that. Not at all.

-Leia and Kaoru arrived at the limo and got in. She settled herself into the comfortable leather seat and grinned as she leaned against the window for amoment, looking back at the beautiful house she was departing from. She then turned suddenly to Kaoru, only to be questioned about ice cream. She bit her lip with a suprised expression on her face.-
R-really?! that would be wonderful! what flavor do you like the most?
-she exclaimed happily, giving him thebiggest smile she could give.-

The driver started the car and they were on their way to the famous Bobson Ice Cream Shoppe. Kaoru smiled to Leia and thought for a moment.
"Chocolate chip...minto.." he said, smiling. He looked out the window for a moment, thinking about Hikaru and why he was so late in coming home. He missed his brother tremendously. Back into the real world, his thoughts were shaken as he blinked, realizing he was being rude in drifting off in his own little world.
"Gomen, Leia-san...ne what's your favorite flavor?" he asked, grinning happily.

-She nodded lightly to his flavor choice and continued to watch him. Something was bothering him. She could see right through him. His brother...his twin. -
You miss your brother......
-she whispered. But she smiled instantly when he asked her favorite flavor. She thought this over for a moment and giggled-
Cotton Candy!! that is my all time favorite!
-giggled again and pulled her knees up to her chest for a minute, looking off towards the front of the limo-
We can share. If you never have had cotton candy, I will share with you. I have never tasted minto!

Syade Ayumi looked to her and crossed her arms.
"It seems that these girls have been somewhat of a nuisance towards you, Leia-san. I wouldn't worry about them. If you should have any problems, call for Kaoru. I will personally make sure the problem is dealt with as efficiently as possible. There is no room for remorse in this business, Leia-san. And no one has a right to put down someone else because they're too insecure about themselves." she said as the assistants nodded.
Ayumi then sighed and brushed a hair from her face.
"Well, that's enough chit-chat..." she chuckled and looked to her assistants, who handed her a portfolio. Ayumi did a quick scan and nodded her head.
"If you'll excuse me, Leia-san...I have a few things to take care of in private. I shall see you here this weekend, before the ball to dress you and do your hair and makeup. I hope for you to arrive early, wouldn't want you to be late!" she winked and left. An assistant stayed with Leia to make sure she was okay and that she didn't need any help undressing.

Miho blushed as she felt Hikaru's arms around her, carrying her to the nurse's office.
When she was set down on the bed, she unknowingly held onto Hikaru's hand as the nurse got a small respirator from the back and set it up for her. She let go as soon as the nurse put the mask around her mouth and nose, then she breathed the medicine for a good 10 minutes before she started calming down. The nurse thanked Hikaru and sent him on his way.
Miho layed in bed, her eyes watery. She was still determined to see Touda-sensei, but...she felt more of a loss when Hikaru...left her there. Hikaru nodded to the nurse and was about to leave when he felt Miho's hand not letting go of his. He patted her hand gently and released his hand from hers. "Get well soon... hime." He whispered to her and left. 'My hand feels so warm...like an eternal fire is touching it but it does not burn me... what is going on with me?' He wondered to himself, unsure of the answer yet.

"Hmm...let's get a cup of minto chocolate chip and cottonu candi and split it half and half!" he suggested. The limo stopped as Kaoru got out and opened the door for her. He held her hand and helped her out, walking with her into the Bobson Ice Cream Shoppe. He watched her sit down and got exactly what he suggested, coming back and handing her the cotton candy ice cream.
Kaoru didn't prefer cones and hoped that she didn't mind that. He felt he was being selfish, but brushed that thought aside. Before Leia could put a scoop of her ice cream in her mouth, he had scooped a little into his spoon and smiled.
"Ne, Leia-san...say aah.." he winked.

Miho soon passed out for a while. The nurse watched over her, knowing that the girl was so determined to come to school, and didn't want to send her home. If she exceeded two trips to her office, then she'd have to call for the limousine, but otherwise, she hoped Miho would wake up soon and not end up sleeping the entire school day.
Miho dreamt of the day they had found out she had an illness, the news that her mother had told her in a somewhat monotone voice. She knew that's when her parents stopped talking to her and started to spend more time out together or at the office. It was as if they had given her up to death's door! That only frustrated Miho into seeking love and comfort elsewhere...that's how she found herself in the arms of Touda-sensei.

Hikaru continued walking through the hallways thinking of how Miho was doing.
'What am I doing? Why am I thinking of how she's doing? I'm not her boyfriend or anything!!' He stood still. 'But... it feels as if something's pulling me towards her...' He turned around and headed right back to the nurse's office.
The nurse raised an eyebrow, questioning what he was doing here as he walked passed her and sat beside Miho's bed. He looked at her sleeping form.
'She does look cute when she's sleeping...gah!! What the hell am I thinking??!!?' He covered his face with his hand, blushing.

-They arrived at the Ice cream shoppe and she grinned cutely at all the flavors of ice cream they provided. She picked out a seat for them and then ordered the half and half that Kaoru suggested.-
Arigato!! I can't wait!
-she said cutely, seeming like a small child at this point. She giggled and smiled real big when it arrived. She went to go get a scoop, but before she could fully react, he had offered her a bite. she blushed a bit and grinned, lifting up her own spoon with both kinds in it and did the same to him-
Let's do it together ne?
-she said kindly as she took the bite he offered and savored it slowly. This was heaven. She was not much for cones either. She liked eating out a bowl because it was not as messy and it was something very fun to share with another. She smiled and looked into his eyes for a moment. Tilting her head to the side, she looked him over, seeing the true Kaoru made her really happy. Without even thinking, she brought her hand to his cheek and smiled happily-
Arigatou......Kaoru-kun.

"G-Gomen, Leia-san...I...uhm...I'm..." he didn't have words and after a moment of silence, he started to eat his ice cream. He was so nervous around her and the slightest thing set him off, which was odd for Kaoru, one of the Hosts! The Devilish Twin, at that! He didn't know what was wrong with him, but...he hoped inside that he didn't offend Leia.
After what she'd gone through, he didn't want her to think that he was just being nice for show. It wasn't like that at all! He liked her innocent and naive personality...something he didn't have because of his elder brother. He wasn't AS innocent as Leia, but it didn't mean that he wasn't confused by how he reacted. He was supposed to please girls...but Leia wasn't JUST a girl. She was now a good friend...someone he wanted to keep close...like Haruhi.

Hikaru nodded sagely. "Just decided to check up on you to see how you're doing." He would never tell her that something was pulling him to her, as if an invisible string was tied to him and it was being tugged by her.

-Leia raised a brow lightly, pondering for a second as he brushed her hand away. She got the vibe that he was....embarrassed or maybe confused about what he felt inside. She tilted her head to the side, some of her blonde hair falling over a green eye-
It's alright Kaoru......to be afraid...or confused...ne?
-she said this with a very pure smile. After saying that she went back to her ice cream thoughtfully, not able to rid her lips of her smile. She thought Kaoru's reaction was cute. Something very genuine. But deep down, she hoped she didn't misunderstand him. For now, she just wanted to stay like this. He was her only friend and she didn't want to ruin it by her affectionate manner. She wanted to take care of him too, and protect him with everything she had.-
ano...I should apologize though. I guess I got way to affectionate too quickly
-she chuckled at her own stupidity-
I guess...it is because you have rescued me several times and have been there for me and been so kind. I should have been more considerate by not getting carried away. Gomen ne, Karou-kun.

Kaoru looked at her and pouted.
"I'm not afraid." he said and crossed his arms, acting somewhat like Hikaru now. He didn't want Leia to know how he felt. He just wanted to keep whatever was going on in his head to himself. He wasn't used to anyone but Hikaru reading his thoughts, and even Haruhi pushed it! A lot!
Kaoru then stared at her as she laughed.
"You're not stupid, Leia-san..." he said as he finished the rest of his ice cream.
"Ano...I have a lot of things to do and...gomen, I'm in a bit of a hurry." he said standing.
He actually wanted time to himself. He wanted to think...
