(Skipping just a bit of time...))
The Ocean's Tears soon pulled into the docks of the island that was much like the one they had just left. It may have been late in the night, or early in the morning depending on how you think about it, but the bars where still very much so alive.
Once things were all squared away to be repaired Wendy stood at the wheel and rubbed her head. It had been a long eventful day to say the least. She walked over to Farris. “I’m going into town…I need a drink...or two.” She said and walked off the ship towards the town. Wendy did not drink all the time, but when she did and she was stressed....she drank as much if not more than any man could.

Wendy sat in the shady bar in a particularly dark corner of the room. She spoke to nobody except when she yelled to the bartender for another drink. She generally didn’t like bars, but it was better than being on the ship at that time. She sat there recounting that day’s events feeling even worse when she thought about what she had done with Farris…what she would have done if he hadn’t stopped her. Her father’s voice rang clear in her head.
“Wendy my darling, when you grow up you’re probably gonna have your pick of men. I know you may not think I’m that bad of a man Wendy, but a pirate’s life is…complicated. Promise me that you will not get caught up with men such as myself… including Farris there. They will never settle…all that will get you is heart break and possibly a few fatherless children. I don’t want that for you. Promise me….”
Wendy’s eyes welled with tears and she quickly closed them and swallowed hard, trying to fight back the tears. It was useless however. As tears fell from her eyes she opened her eyes and yelled to the bartender, “More rum!”
“I got this one.” A young man said to the bartender with a grin. He was in his early twenties, with shoulder length light brown hair, and beautiful golden brown eyes that had won over many women. He had had his eyes on Wendy since she had entered the bar and saw this as the perfect time for him to jump in.
The bartender looked at him a second then just shrugged and let him take the drink to her. He knew the boy’s reputation, but it wasn’t his business what he did, he’s just the bartender. As long as he got his money he didn’t care.
The boy walked over to where Wendy was sitting and set the drink in front of her then slid in the booth next to her. “Why is such a beautiful creature as yourself crying?” He asked softly.
Wendy looked up at him. She didn’t recognize him and didn’t know why he was talking to her. “It’s not any business of ours… what do you want?” She asked scooting away from him.
“Nothing more than to hear your voice and know that you are alright.” He said using his charm. “The name’s Thomas by the way.”
Wendy nodded a bit in acknowledgement. “I’m Wendy.” She said and then took a drink of the rum.
“You know…he’s not worth it.” He said hoping he was right in his presumptions.
“What are you talking about?”
“The man you are cry about. Who ever he is he’s a complete moron. If I were him, I’d never let you cry.” He said and touched her cheek softly with one hand.
Wendy nodded again and looked away a bit. But as she did he slid his hand back to the back of her neck and lightly turned her back towards him. He leaned in and kissed her. Wendy welcomed it and kissed him back.
It was probably because of the four or five cups of rum she had just had, but before she knew it Wendy was on her back in the booth with him above her, his hands up her shirt and her legs wrapped around him. Before things progressed any further Thomas pulled away from her.
“I don’t know about you, but I would much prefer to continue this up in more private setting…say my room?” He asked her catching his breath.
Wendy nodded with a goofy smile and followed his lead as he pulled her up, stumbling a bit from all the rum she had had.

After sending Darin to guard the Captain’s Courters, and have her swear to not let the twins out, Farris had decided he needed a drink as well and made his way to the tavern he had seen Wendy enter. Along the way, a group three whores got in his way. He wasn’t the kind of person to be rude if he didn’t need to be and he didn’t think Wendy could get to drunk that quickly.
The whores stood on three sides of him, stroking his chest and his arms. “Oh, you’re a strong fellow. Look at these arms, Tee!” One cried to another.
Farris placed his hand on top of hers and smiled. “Excuse me, But I really must be going.”
The one called Tee perked up and smiled up at Farris. “Oh, a strong man like you, you could handle all three of us. Couldn’t you handsome.?” Tee asked, puckering her lips.
“No actually I have-”
“Oh he could ladies. This one’s a pirate. And they can never back down from a challenge.” The last one said in a lazy drawl, seeing that she was loosing him. She smiled up at him and started petting his chest. “I’ll make a deal with you. If you can handle all three of us, we’ll give you half off on our group rate. She said with a sly smile, thinking Farris was caught.
It was the last one’s mistake actually. He had almost been caught, but when she put her hand on his chest, he was reminded of what Wendy had done earlier that evening. He shook his head and pushed the whores away from him. “Ladies I have my own. I’m trying to go retrieve her. Now if you would kindly move.”
The older whore smiled and laugh. “Retrieve? The only men who go and retrieve their women are the one’s you can’t handle them!” She said and screeched, guiding the other two girls away, still laughing.
Farris shook his head and made his way to the bar, almost running in his hurry. He came into the bar and looked around. It took him a minute to find her. When he did, he caught the end of their conversation. He was shocked by her actions and at first didn’t move. But when the mad decided to lead her up to his rooms, he shook himself free.
He strode over to the man, he was probably the same age as Farris, but Farris was a sailor, so his face was rough with the saltwater and the sun. Aging him almost ten years. Farris tapped the man on the shoulder and stepped between him and Wendy. “Actually I’m not a moron and the amount of time I have spent trying to not make her cry would make you head spin.” He said bluntly. Nodding to the man, he turned around and picked Wendy up. One arm behind her back; near her neck, and the other under her knees, he turned and walked out of the tavern.
Farris made his way through the docks and onto the ship. He ignored the stares and brought her to his cabin. He lied her on his bed and sighed, running his hand through his hair. “We’ve got to talk about this once your sober.” He said and shook his head. He looked down at her and sighed. “Yer staying here tonight. The twins wrecked your room and I don’t want you in there yet, tha bed might be a disaster. And I don’t wanna let them out till we’re at sea. Dunna worry I’ll sleep in the crews area tonight.” He said and smiled at her. He turned, making his way to the door.

Wendy had been too drunk to care much about what Farris had done. She pretty much giggled the whole time, somthing she didn't do very often. When he turned to leave she quickly grabbed his hand and stood up pulling him back towards her so she was pressed up against him.
"Don't leave so soon." She said the smell of rum heavy on her breath. She kissed him on the lips playfully a couple of times.

Farris sighed and nodded. He wanted despretly ot kiss her abck but he didn't. He unwound her fingers from his shirt and arm and set her back down on the bed. Bending he took off her boots and lossened the vest she was wearing. He pulled hte covers over her and turned the cover of he light.
He pulled up a chair and rested his feet on his desk. He started humming softly and then started singing Dan's lulliby softly.

"Farris!" She whined after he rejected her and basically put her to bed. "I dun need you to put me ta sleep." She said slurring her words slightly. "I'm a big girl, I can do what I want." She said pushing the covers off of her. "I can sleep where I want with who I want." She got up and began walking clumsily to the door, stumbling a bit as the ship rocked gently with the waves.

Farris beat her to the door and put a hand on her shoudler. "Ye can sleep with you ye want, when yer sober enough to chose them and rememeber wha thtey look liek in the morin'." he said gently and shook his head. "I dinna refuse you, but I know your drunk and yer would hate yourself for it come the morn." he said, stressed so he slipped back into his lower city drawl. "Come now. Just sleep hear. Like I said, the twins wreake dyour room." He said gently, stearing her back to the bed.

Wendy squirmed in his arms, but he was much stronger than her even when she wasn't drunk. "Farris...What do you want from me?" She asked giving up on trying to free herself. "You come after me at the bar, keep me from doing anything with another man, but then you bring me back here and won't do the very thing you were ready to do in front of my crew?"

Farris wouldn't set her down. If he did she might hurt herself. e took a few breaths calming himself."You are drunk. Even more drunk then you were before. When you realized wha tyou had done, you almost cried. I do not want to seee that look again. I do not want to cause that looks again." He said softlly and bit his upper lip. "Wendy...You do not want me. That you have mad clear here tonight. I accept that, for I did not think I had a chance with you untill this morning anyway." he said soflty. "You may not ever want me, but I still do not want you to get hurt. You are like a sister to me, even if you do not want to see me as a brother. I do not want you to act the way you are in front of thie crew, or you younger brothers." he said with finality in hsi voice. "Now, will you please jsut stay here tonight? You will never have to again. I swear."

Wendy closed her eyes as her jumbled thoughts made her head hurt. "It's not that I don't want you...I...can't. My father...I promised him I wouldn't and...you're a pirate." She said on the verge of crying, partly because she was confusing herself. She looked up at him realizing she probably wasn't making much sense to him either. She nodded at him. "Alright...tonight I will stay here."

Farris nodded and smiled. He looked at her, his blue eyes dark and deep. He set her down on his bed and pulled the cover over her again. He walked to the door and turned the nobb. He looked back over hsi shoulder and said somthing. "You're a pirate too you know. Why would you want someone to settle down with...if you yourself wouldn't?" he said with a grin and nodded to her, leaving her to think on that he closed the door.
Farris walked up the the captian's rooms and nodded to Darin, letting him leave to go onshore as well. Farris leaned aggaisnt the door, sword out.

Wendy moved all the way up against the wall so her back was facing in and set her head in the pillow. She hadn't really thought about it much...it was just what her father had told her and she didn't want him to be disappointed in her. She didn't know what to do. She knew she liked probably even loved Farris, but then there was her father. Wendy didn't want to think about it anymore. She was much too tired and drunk to make any decisions. So she let herself slowly drift to sleep.

After their necklaces had been taken the twins fumed. Both sat in the cabin waiting to be let out just so they could kill the guy that took the onlything their father had given them.
They knew when the boat docked again but they were not let out and that only made their anger grow. They plotted and grumbled to eachother until finally their energy gave out and both fell asleep leaned into a corner of the room, their head's together.
