Itachi spoke, his back still turned on Yumi and Sakura. "If you plan on blaming me for Sasuke's lack of caring...Don't. I may have killed them, but he chose to kill me. He chose that path for himself, even if I may have helped a little bit."
She stared into her sister's eyes helplessly. "I'm sure he is...What is the world coming to...?"

Cari had been rather speechless after the few meager sentences Sakura had managed to get out, but as she took off Cari quickly formed a plan.
Running over to a tree she pulled out one fan and jumped into the tree and off using the force of her legs to send her high and fast into the air. Cari nearly fell after she heard Sakura scream out at Deidara,
'Well... At least i know where she is and where they are...' Cari had landed in a tree and crouched low to observe the scene for a few seconds.
Deciding enough was enough with the screaming and threats and non-threats she jumped down a small smirk on her face,
"Oow Sakura-chan stab right in the heart. If im not nice then what am I? I've always thought of myself as nice, "Cari shrugged and turned to face Deidara and the elder Uchiha,
"Well... what cha gonna do? I'm sorry Deidara-san, but unfortunetly seeing as your an accomplice of Uchiha Itachi and know him somewhat I can't let you leave either." Caris turqouise eyes flashed as her smirk grew. Reaching one hand behind her she pulled out her second fan and flipped it open as well.
Shifting into a fighting stance she held the fans in front of her, the steel tips gleaming and the crimson konoha symbols glaring out brightly,
"Whether you come willingly or we kunoichi have to have to beat you within a inch of your lives is your choice."

Itachi turned around to study Cari, an eyebrow raised. "You're not serious." he stated, pointing a pale finger, nail painted purple, at her. "You can't kill us. You're afraid to try." His eyes widened and the black was replaced by red Sharingan. "So don't even try." he snarled, his finger still pointed at her. He dropped his hand, and looked at Yumi and Sakura. "Please, tell this girl..." he said, sounding dull and annoyed again.
Yumi looked slowly at Cari and shook her head sharply. She knew that right now, neither her or her sister had a chance...even if the Akatsuki was outnumbered, she had no idea about this new girl, her powers, or anything. For all she knew - she could've well been enemy. OoC|| I thought of this really crazy-sad-weird plot for my character...s. Yeah, so I made a new made-up, if that's alright. So I'll be adding him soon. heart

"Cari-chan! Stop! You're only a chunin here, if Yumi-neechan and I can't beat him together you haven't a chance." Sakura sighed, glaring at Itachi. "Well WHY do you think he wants to kill you!?" She shouted at him, taking a small step forward. Clenching her fist for a moment, she tried thinking of another plan.
It would be too hard to trick him into a trap, but...If only Deidara knew his weakness and would...NO! Why would Deidara-san share something like that with me? Gah! Just stay focoused...

"Because I killed my entire clan, his family, the people who cared about him?" Itachi said to Sakura, as if making a wild guess. "I suppose I can't blame him for that, of course..." He paused. "Sakura-san...please understand...Truly...I am probably not who you think I am." His voice quivered, as if he was hiding something. He then looked at Yumi.
"You two are so alike. More alike then you know. Both of you...you both fell in love with a teammate. The only difference is..." Itachi didn't finish his sentence, watching Yumi for her reaction.
Yumi froze. Her entire body stopped functioning as her eyes widened in fright. "N-no." It was the only word that would come forth.

Sakura squinted her eyes at him, "So much for you being a genius." When she heard Yumi stutter she turned to face her sister, "Yumi-neechan, what's wrong? Don't tell me..." She didn't bother to finish her scentence, seeing there was really no point in doing so.

"NO." Yumi's voice was louder, stronger, but still shaky, fear coloring it. "No."
"Yes...yes. You're lucky, Yumi-san. Not only did your parents continue to accept you...But they accepted him, too, even though he loved you back. Don't fret...it's not your fault. It's his fault too. Your brother." Itachi smirked at Yumi as he watched her shatter from the inside. Torturing people was so easily, especially emotionally.
She fell to her knees, green eyes wide, tears dripping down her cheeks. "No....."

"HIKARU!" came a holler, and the young man jolted up. "It's your shift at the gate!" came the call again. "There's a group of people near it...Only try and stop 'em if the men try 'n get out, alright? Don't want any deaths near my shift." said the man as he walked over and threw his spear towards Hikaru, who caught it.
"Right." Hikaru said, waving it off. "I'll be careful." But he was really curious. Only if the guys? Maybe they were messing with some girls...Hmph, and no one was going to stop them? "Oh well," Hikaru sighed, as he walked towards the gates. But something caught his eye.
Pink hair.
A family trait.
His family's trait.

A look of confusion played over Sakura's face. "What's wrong, Yumi-neechan?" Her voice shaked slightly, unsure of what to do until it came to her...
I'll kill him, I don't care if I'm robbing Sasuke-kun of what he wanted. I'll kill him for what he's done to my sister...Whatever that may be. She growled softly as she thought ...But I'll need to trick him. That'll be tough, but I need to. This isn't a matter of what he did to Sasuke-kun anymore, but what he did to my sister. She neared closer to the Uchiha slowly, taking each step carefully, as if she was a clutz.

"You would have figured, after I killed my entire clan, that PERHAPS, maybe, I enjoyed hurting people?" said Itachi, his voice amused. He was having quite fun, as he looked down at Yumi. "Girl, you're breaking on the inside...aren't you? It hurts, doesn't it?"
He reached out his hand, as if to touch Yumi, but jumped back quickly as the ground exploded.
"DON'T YOU TOUCH HER, YOU b*****d!" His eyes were on fire as he protected his twin, and his younger sister. "GET OUT OF KONOHA, NOW!" Hikaru roared, breathing heavily.
Yumi, however, noticed nothing. Her eyes were widened larger than ever, and her entire body was weak. In her mind, she was only thinking about an old memory, from when she was on a mission, and a fortune teller had told her something.
'Try and remember, later in your life...Your own words are not the only words that can bind you. Other people, when they speak ill of the people you love, or even yourself, it will bind you...Escape this bind. Don't let it break you.' The old woman had been right. Itachi's words had strangled life from her, and broken her down.

Sakura looked at the man who shouted. "...Who are you?" She muttered, obviously confused even more. She looked back at Itachi, her eyes almost asking him what was going on, though she didn't say anymore than those three words.

Hikaru turned his head sharply to look at Sakura. "You're having a difficult day...aren't you?" he said weakly, smiling at her. "You'll find out soon enough...I can already guess who you are." He then looked down at Yumi.
"Yumi-chan? Dammit...Yumi! Yumi, it's me, it's Hikaru! You've got to snap out of it!" He dropped on his knees next to his sister and shook her shoulders. Slowly, her eyes moved to look at him.
"Hikaru-kun..." Yumi watched her younger brother before throwing her arms around his neck.
"Of course...The brother comes to the rescue." Itachi said, his voice drawling. "Right, Sakura-san? It's hard to believe these two are twins...No one would be able to tell besides them, and of course, your parents. I don't blame them...Love just happens." What a strange thing for Itachi to say, speaking of love.

Sakura blinked a few times. Oh...so it's Yumi-neechan's boyfriend.... She smiled, that is until hearing Itachi.
"Twins?" She whispered, obviously in shock. "That isn't possible. He looks nothing like Yumi-neechan, or my parents! Itachi, that isn't possible. I refuse to believe you." She crossed her arms over her chest, staring at him sternly.

Deidara could only stand back and watch the drama (it was the only word his could use to explain it) unfold. At first, he was worried. Worried about what he and Itachi would have to do to get out of the country. Then, as more attention drew near, he became quite annoyed. This was HIS vacation time, dammit, and now just because he agreed to introduce Itachi, he could possibly be stuck.
s**t. Leader was going to be PISSED.
He sighed. Maaaybe he could get out of here...they were focused on Itachi. If the blonde didn't make a move, they wouldn't attack him, they'd attack Itachi. The thought made him frown. He never really enjoyed to leave his "friends" in the dirt.
But when you're an S-class criminal, it's every man for himself sometimes.
He quickly grabbed a glob of clay and shoved it into one of his hands. His face saddened as it created a tiny clay figure.
An abstract clay bird. With a time bomb.
When his was done, he took out the little figurine.
When this Hikaru character went on to focus his attention on Yumi, he gave Itachi a hard stare.
"I don't know about you, but I'm getting the hell out of here, yeah."
He showed Itachi the clay model, and he knew that Itachi would already know that it's a bomb.
He walked over to Sakura. His Sakura-chan. Probably the only person he really liked as a friend since Sasori.
Life really was horrible sometimes.
With a depressed face, he took the pink-haired girl's hand, and opened it. He placed the little bird in her hand.
"I'm sorry...yeah. I wish..."
He never finished his sentence. He turned away, and because he really DID care, he gave her a hint that he hoped and prayed she'd understand.
"It goes off in two minutes, yeah."
After that, he yelled at Itachi, "I'm out, yeah!"
With that, he pushed chakra into his feet, and took off. In the back of his mind, he wished that maybe Sakura could discard of the bomb, and follow him, just because she was a person he really got along with.
But it was a long shot, he knew. Because she HAD family, and other friends, unlike Itachi and him.
He turned his head, to see if Itachi would follow.

Sakura looked down at the bird. "Oh! It's one of those birds you told me about!" She smiled at him, until he spoke "Two minutes...?" She questioned, only to find Deidara wasn't there to answer her.
Looking around at the three, the blonde no longer there, she sighed. Great... She sighed, looking down at the bird. "Well...wait. Is Deidara-san trying to kill us, Itachi-san?"

Itachi had heard him, and understood. "What a way to die." he said to himself, staring at the twins.
"Sakura-san. When we all die, you'll die knowing that your sister was plenty clean and pure. Don't believe a word I just said." Itachi told her, staring at the little clay bomb. It just didn't seem worth it to move.
But obviously, Hikaru knew. "DROP IT, SAKURA!" he called, but it seemed that he was always too late.
Too late for his love.
Too late for his life.
Too late for his family.
Too late for himself.
But Yumi was faster. Somehow, she came back to her senses, and grasped the bomb within her fingers, before throwing it high in the air. There was an explosion....and dust and ashes fell onto her pale cheeks, into her hair.
Itachi, however, did not seem relieved. He could have simply died, but no, this girl had to save her sister. He grabbed her wrist and there was a crack. Two screams.
One from Hikaru. One from Yumi.
Hikaru fell to the ground, clutching his wrist. A thought occured to Yumi as the sharp pain dulled.
A memory.
'You two...share a close bond, don't you?' the old lady said to the twins, and they both smiled, nodding.
'Be careful...This bond...Whenever one of you is affected, injured, the other will know instantly. It will be different everytime...sometimes, you may not notice, for it will be a simple twitch of a bush or a tree. But there will always be a sign. And sometimes, you will feel the same pain your sibling feels. So be careful...because there is a chance, if one dies, the other dies.'
Never had they expected it to actually happen, as the twins clutched their wrists in pain.
