Darkeenya Welcome all new members to EoG! This is the thread where you can introduce yourself to everyone. Here's a little form you can use if you don't know where to get started. smile

Her names is Hollywood. and I also have a big 16 hand mare named Sally. I show them both in A shows. Anything else you'd like to say? I love horses I guess... biggrin heart

Style of Riding: Mostly just Western/English. Basic stuff. I'm starting to get into Saddleseat though. ;D
Favorite Breed of Horse: I don't think that I could really chose one. But I guess that I love Perchies and Barbs a lot. <3 Oh, and I can't forget the Morgans. YAY
Do you own a horse?: Sadly, no. Grr, stupid parents. But I might get to lease my friends horse, Gemini.

Do you own a horse?: No, but I shareboard in the summer.
Anything else you'd like to say?: I've been riding since I was 7 or so, but unfortunately I have very bad ankles (something's wrong with the bones) and I practically didn't ride much this year. I love to ride, but just being around horses is the best part of it. 3nodding

I suppose my favorite(s) would have to be Egyptian Arabians and Quarter Horses

You bet I do. I leased a horse for a while, but I knew I was able to buy soon. When the horse I was leasing threw me and broke my arm my parents let me start looking. Which is when I found my boy Riley, he's a Chestnut 6yr old QH gelding.

Yep, just a bit about me. I'm Jess, I'm 16 and livin' in Canada. I've been ridin for almost 6 years. I enjoy learning new things to do with horses, I've done horse sitting for people (Its honestly great and gives you great experience) and I'm into a lot of the natural horseman ship. Getting into that is like, a new way of riding. It totally changed my look on things and gave me a new respect and partnetship with the horses I ride.

Style of Riding: i dont ride much..mabey once a year if im lucky, i dnt own my own horse, the closest place that lets people ride their horses is a state away, but i just like to ride..(but their tails are like wips gonk )
Favorite Breed of Horse: haha, dont ask me that sweatdrop i like Arabians, Shires, Saddlebred, Lippizzaner, Appaloosa, Gypsy Vanner, Mustangs. I don't much care for ponies and smaller horses, I dont like to ride a horse that would be much shorter than about 15 hh.
Do you own a horse?: sadly, no
Anything else you'd like to say?: i love to collect and sometimes costumize the breyer horse models, im working on getting the whole wild mustangs set right now, so far ive got 4 of the current ones and 1 of the sets from a long time ago, my first breyer horse, a buckskin mustang mare with zebra striped legs and a dark bay foal(which has been re-painted to a bay foal with a lighter coat, with zebra stripes on its two front legs)

Style of Riding: Currently I'm all western. Though, I have rode huntseat and english pleasure.
Favorite Breed of Horse: Gypsy Vanners are my absolute favorite breed. But the good ol' Quarter Horse will always have a place in my heart.
Do you own a horse?: Yah, I just got my first horse in July and he is love of my life. He's a lil QH gelding named Jag. You can see a bagillion pictures of him in the 'Post your Horses Picture' Sticky.
Anything else you'd like to say?: I've been riding as long as I can remember, but have never shown and probably won't ever. But a creeping urge to show is creeping up on me. I don't no much about training styles and tack, as well as alot of technical words for tack and equitment. So please, bare with me. ><;;

x.Marsh[mel]low.x Hey, my name is Mel I live in Canada and I am 14. I ride western and sometimes I like to go bareback. I've barrel raced for 3 years now and I own a horse named Cheyenne. (Dark bay, quarter horse/arab/paso, 14.3hh., 8 years). I work at a ranch where I care for over 35 horses and guide trail rides, give pony rides and sleigh rides, and train their horses. My favorite breed of horse is a thoroughbred (love horse racres). My other interests include Linkin Park, my band, and drawing and writing.
When the hell was I a) illiterate and b) In love with Thoroughbreds??? (extra note: wow... I've been in the guild for two years o_O)

Wow, I just realized that even though I joined this guild, what, almost two years ago..? I don't think I ever filled this thing out! biggrin

Style of Riding: mostly hunter/jumper and I love it, though I WANT to try dressage. >.> I don't think my horse is suited for it, unfortunately. SOMEDAY I shall achieve this goal lol.
Favorite Breed of Horse: As much as I WANT to love warmbloods and TB crosses and things like that (seeing as they're the breeds that excel in my chosen field of horsemanship), I love Arabs. -__- Crazy little horses.
Do you own a horse?: Yuuupp, one crazy little Arab. He's the reason I love the breed so much. Oh, and one mutt pony.
Anything else you'd like to say?: I am the resident expert on bone formation and equine skeletal development! Go me! ... I think that's it. o.0
