Sitting in the town, watchint the people labour, Ash once agian found himself with nothign to do. He was content taking in the experience that was this time and place, he even felt compelled to join in the labours, perhaps to enjoy the fruits as well, but he soon realised that such interference would destroy the equilibrium of the community. Each person had a task, they performed it, though sometimes they shifted from task to task. The wizard was careful not to get too close, though his clothes disguised him perfectly, if he did anything too out of place, they would hardly help.
This town did seem to have a very keen sense of witch burning in the air... The wizard decided to jump back and forth, watching the different events.

Indeed they were first to reach Ko'Naar by a good length of time. The village seemed to go quiet from first the sound of a rumbling...sort of like thunder. Then a dark shadow fell over the village, practically covering it wholing. And the smell of smoke started to fill the air of the village. Those who looked up soof petrified for the moment as they saw the beast and his rider. A dragon? That was impossible...they didn't exist.
That thunder was a dragon's growl, the shadow his own as he cirlced the village on a tipped wing, and the smoke was his own, trailing out of his nostrils in tell tale sound of brewing dragon fire. Time to stir the water. Kale let that growl turn into a dragon's roar and a jet of dragonfire. Nothing to get people in panic and running like that. Let it begin...

Larissa wished she could control teh weather, that would make a perfect backdrop. A vein or two of lightning, darkened clouds. oh yes, sunshiney days were at an end Ko'Naar. It was time to pay the piper. She decided she'd add to it by explaining a bit why they were here. After all Kale was flying low enough for the terrified citizens to be able to hear. So in a reasonably loud voice that reeked of power she said, "Residents of Ko'Naar, hear me well. You have been called to account for your crimes against the myths of Ki'Taal. You were warned not to mess with us but you did not heed these warnings. As a result justice will be delivered swiftly and mercifully. If you fight, you will be cut down. Your village will be destroyed as payment for your crimes. Even now an army marches on the horizon, the beat of war will be heard soon enough!" Then she threw back her head and shouted to the skies, "Justice will be served this day!" Larissa could be one for theatrics as well. Nature itself reacted to the anger in her voice and a great wind began to blow. She helped it along letting loose leaves and sticks that battered at the houses and frightened the already terrified townspeople. Oh yes, she was enjoying this.

Janus couldn't help but grin at teh theater tricks. of course him allowign the rythmic sounds was to asl o frighten people. but he still expected resistance. they woudl fight back, to portect thier homes, and thier families, if nothing else. once they were within distance, Janus thrust the warhammer forward, adn they broke into a full run, though kept organzied not one of Janus' followers was without at least a partner watching out for them. Janus and company swarmed like ants, and Janus' chains went to work, tearing at building and crashign through windows, fire runnign down them and blazing off them in a look of fiery tentacles reaching to comsume everything. Janus was in his element, and you cudl hear him laughing at resident's attempts to stop him, batting them away with his hammer. Various cries of 'For Fe'Naal!' or cires praiseing Janus in vaious titles. cheers for Larissa and Kale.

Indeed they fought back...for what was left of them if they didn't. A bit confused as to why the attack but the word 'Fe'Naal' was quite well spoken. Payment for the blasted fire the myths did to themselves? That wasn't their fault! Able bodied men indeed too arms up against them, women and children took to indeed fleeing...though they were only met by Janus' followers, only to be coralled abck against rock outcroppings with those men who were out battled.
At least they were doing it someone humanely...though Janus wasted no time in getting to razind did he. And on a tip of a wing, Kale circled back and low, raking a back claw against the ground as well as sending off a long line of dragon fire, leaving a nice little path of distruction as he arked up again in the skies. Old dragon blood stirred in him...the feeling of destruction againt humans that harmed his kind for centuries.
She watched a moment of village outskirts, Tyler at her side. Prehaps she was a little entranced and then a predatory glare seemed to spark in her eyes. She knew the plan, Janus' men had been mumbling it on the way here. Take no live, minimize injuries, take Ko'Naar to the ground. An excited look to Tyler before she made for that village. "Come on now, you want to keep me safe? Then this is one of the best ways to do it." After all, these people had tried to kill her more than once already. So Bond Child and her Guardian took to the mix as well.

Larissa raised her hands and vines seemed to come from everywhere, overtaking houses and crumbling their very foundations. The trees swayed in anger, a few seemed to be bending over extremely far to topple buildings with their branches. And then to the disbelief of the villagers, the trees in teh surrounding areas, lifted their roots and came to enact their own battle. They walked through the town, giant branches smashing to the ground as they did as Larissa commanded them. Her concentration was extreme, her whispers into their very souls commanding their obedience. The vines continued to overtake until her little part of the town was either completely green or quickly becoming that way.
Tyler watched the destruction as fascinated for a moment as Cara was. He whipsered, "She can make the trees actually move?! I'm never pissing her off." He nodded and lifted his arm and shouted, "For Fe'Naal and the mtyths of Ki'Taal." And then he grabbed Cara's hand and raced headlong into battle, ready to chase the others out. He knew as well as Cara that none were to be killed and if at all possible to avoid harming them extensively. It was going ot be difficult but he'd do it.

Ecara howled their own cry as they both took to the fray. And the pair were quite effective two, often being back to back. But they made it thier job to disarm those who came against them, mayeb lend a helping hand or two to some of Janus' men. And of course there was the occassional instance of dropping someone to thier a**. Ecara was glad for thier armor though...because he was certinally taking a beating from time to time. Aggressive little buggers weren't they?

and then it happened. Tyler got split off from Ecara when a gang of three huge men surroudned him. He drew his daggers and was ready to fight but they weren't fighting fair. Dirt in his face blinded him for a few minutes, not too long but long enough to put him at a disadvantage. He felt a knife go into his shoulder, at the vulnerable place where his breastplate ended and his helmet began. He cried out in pain and lashed out with his daggers but ti didn't look good for Ty. He fought like a man cornered, which he was but he just wasnt' big enough to beat them off single handedly. And then one of the idiots got an idea. Hey, let's throw rocks at him! So he had a bunch of rubble pelting him. "Bastards..."

Plants covered one part fo teh town, adn fire was comsuming most of the rest. Janus was looking for the town elder, the leaders of this town. he had ordered the house Teon lived in untouched, he intended to show the elders exactly why thier town was being razed.
"Bring me the Elders of this city! and let them see what thier arrogance and ignorance has done!"
People were swept aside form him like childrens toy blocks with his hammer, though many were injured, none of them were dead. and Janus' own had less injuries, as they had been trainign, many since a young age, in teh arts of combat and weaponry. However he did see Ecara and Tyler, and swated aside a few near them.
"Welcome to the party. My valkalryie and standard bearer ejoyign themselves?"
Of course he hadn't forgotten the titles he'd given them when he first introduced them to his temple..and Janus looks noone the worse for wear. though he did have a couple arrows in him that managed to get through the chainmail. he did give credit that Ko'Naar had some fine archers. alchemical explosions coudl be heard aroudn them. gases spreading to blind or confuse. Ko'Naar was fighting with everything she had.

Larissa screamed in outrage when some of the villagers began setting fire to her plants. It took everything she had not to let loose and make a tree fall on them but she just called up more vines and wrapped up the villagers in a little vine ball and rolled them over to teh area they were corralled. "Burn my vines and see what you get!"
Well that helped a bit, thanks Janus. But he was injured and he felt the blood run down his neck. He started fighting again but now he seemed to be a target. Maybe it was because he was easy to get to since he was fighting alone. He couldn't quite see where Cara was and that worried him. Sweat was dripping down into his eyes and he slipped off his helmet to wipe his forehead. one of the guys who had attacked him before watched and waited. He hefted a decent sized rock, took aim at hte boy's head, and then let it fly. Then something hard hit him in the head an he went down, his helmet rolling off.

Ecara merely gave a smirk to Janus. "Think we'd miss the fun?" And she was off from him again, taking to others. Though the things in the air were bothing her senses some, most specifically her nose.
And it was quite the vulnerable feeling when she realized Tyler wasn't with her anymore. For a frantric moment she looked around till ears perked at at the sound of hard struck metal and she caught sight of Tyler hitting the ground, helm taking leave of his person. "Tyler!" Of course a moment of distracted time found her in her own trouble, the blade of a shovel whacking her over the head and sending her to the ground, one ear dripping metallic looking lavendar colored blood, it being half sliced through and kinda crushed looking. Of course she didn't feel it. Nor did she feel the blade that sunk into her thigh or her arm. Numbers were the friends of her foes and they ganged her as well. But she fought with instinct, thrashing out with clawed gauntlets. But they were stronger.
Ecara felt something happening though, her emotions seemed to be pooling and she felt something that was old and a bit familiar. Her eyes closed, only to open and reveal not dual colored, but both glowing a bright blue. He hair had taken on a certain shimmer and her wings twitched. "Tyler!" That call to Tyler turned into a howl and it seemed a shockwave went off, throwing back those around her and kicking up dust around her, obscruing the view of others.
Next thing the that downed Tyler knew, he screamed in pain and dropped, a wolf with large jet black wings and midnight blue fur on his back, teeth sinking into his shoulder. That wolf was cald in armor that covered both fore and back legs and paws, and a helm on her head became more or a faceplate, wolf muzzle fitting perfectly to the armor that mimicked it. Teeth held tight to that flesh and shook hard before she was thrown off, the once cocky man standing and running before beign intercepted by Janus' men and coralled off with the others.
Kale had been busy swooping, ripping building off of foundations and the like. But now he circled wide overhead and then dropped to the ground, landling gently near the little crowd of Skeptics that were being kept in place. A roar to them to strike that fear. And Kale gently lowered Larissa to the ground with Kaegan, taking up guard watch of them. And he noted that one man was being pushed out of the rest, being called Elder.

Janus coudl help but laugh at teh ball of limbs and vines that got rolled int oteh coral of ko'Naar residents. right now though, he was looking for Cara as much as anything. with Tyler here, she had to be. he'd assuem she was close by when he'd spoke to tyler..but apparently that hadn't been the case. Oh look. one of the elders was being brought to him. maybe it was the only one. who knows.
His chains snapped out, wrappign aroudn the older man and carrying him to Teon's home, throwing him down in teh dirt in front of it.
"Know the resident of this place?"

When Ty came to only a minute or two after being hit, he blinked and saw a wolf snapping and clawing. He blinked and watched, pushing bloody hair out of his eyes. His head was throbbing horribly but he recognized that fur...and her wings. They weren't tiny anymore. She looked almost like Eclipse...in Cara's armor. He blinked again certain he was seeing things. "Cara...?" He serached around and finally found his helm, setting it back on his head and pushed his battered and beaten body to its feet. His Cara, if that was his Cara, had become a ravaging wolf. "Cara...I'm okay...really."
Larissa stood guard, hands raised ready to wrap anyone up in vines if she had to. She still hadn't let the other ball loose yet, though they could breathe through small cracks and she wasn't crushing them. She disobeyed one of Janus' commands adn pulled out her whip but she was too close to them not to have something to defend herself. And she wasnt' about to let them know she was pregnant. Half of them were terrified of her anyway, she made trees move. Plus she had a huge dragon ready to burn anyone who touched her. So anyone who thought they could end this by taking her hostage, quickly reevaluated their plans. She wanted to see what was going on with Janus though so she glanced over that way. "What's he doing?"

Kaegan was buzzing the crowd, giving off little puffs of dragon fire only to come back every now and again to circle around Larissa's head. Go on, touch her, I'll take off your finger if you so. I have no problem with doing it.
She pushed herself to her feet, shaking dirt off her fur and shook her head, tongue lolling out as if to try and rid her mouth of that taste of blood. Though clearly visible on her own fur was that metallic lavender. Her ear still looked half ripped off too. But her back leg was help up off the ground to keep wight off of it, and the front was being gingerly used. A look up at Tyler who seemed almost scared of her. She whimpered at him...gods what was that feeling...why couldn't she put weight on her leg...it was almsot a burning sensation that she had never felt before. But she limped to him, a noise being giving off at everystep till she was sitting at Tyler's feet leaning against his leg, smearing blood on them both. What was happening...why was she so low on the ground...and what was that god awful feeling? No she wasn't aware of what she was doing. "Tyler...what's happening to me..." Her voice was strained a bit, obvious the one of someone who was in pain and on the confused side.
He hit the dirt hard and scrambled to his feet, turning a look on Janus. He was shaking, scared obviously and a bit bloody. As he talked his voice was broken with shakes and fear. "T-Teon..." He could barely give an answer out.

Tyler stared at her for a minute and then wrapped his arms around her furry neck, watching her wings, eh'd done this enough times with Eclipse and hugged her. "It's alright Cara, I'm here." He gently stroked her, where he could anyway and worried his bottom lip. She'd had quite a number done on her hadn't she? Not good, not good at all. "I don't know sweetheart. I think it's something you inherited from Eclipse. Teh ability to change into a wolf of sorts..." He was really at a loss of what to say. "Has this ever happened to you before?" It certainly hadn't in the time he'd been with her in Fe'Laar. This was odd, but he supposed eh'd always wondered if she might be able to do something like this. AFter all Eclipse could change to a human form, right?
Larissa giggled at the little dragon and then waved a hand to let that ball of vines break open. One of the men tried to run but the vines grabbed him by the legs and toppled him. "Why do they always try to run, when they know they're beaten?" She sighed, it only annoyed her.
