Max nodded, knowing not to play the king of spades when a queen of hearts was down, he looked at his new card and wondered if it was still his turn

getting no response from Collin, Kanika walked on in silence but every now and then she'd call out Namir's name.

Just then Zarina and Gwen felt an unwelcome presence. They held their fingers to their lips. Gwen had to stiffle a laugh for in the game the group was already being quiet.
Zarina pointed into a nearby patch of large surrounding bushles. She mouthed the presence of a pirate.
