Angel had traveled sometime now towards the west, and had stopped outside of a forest. She felt almost as if something was pulling her towards something inside, but what? She felt almost as if she closed her eyes she would still be able to find it. She was almost tempted to try it, but didn't know if that would have been a good idea. Knowing her luck she would probably run into a tree. Mumbling to herself, she decided to just head in.
She walked for what seemed only a couple minutes when she thought she had found something. It appeared to be a small cave just big enough for a couple people to stay in. She caustiously began to look around when something caught her eye. In the corner it appeared as if the ground was glowing, but what was it? She didn't know if she should approach it or not, but something told her she should. She carefully approached it, as she bent down infront of it. She caustiously reached a hand out towards it, as the light grew brighter. Hesistating for a moment she then quickly shot out her hand, as she touched where the light was coming from. The light grew extremly bright, as it appeared to absorb into her. Her head soon began to throb, as she pressed the palms of her hands against her temples. Memories soon flooded into her mind from what appeared to be a previous life. She could remember the notebook now and she knew for a fact that the one that Lanthanos was talking about was the same as the one she had seen.
Her attention soon turned back to where the light was. It was gone she couldn't even sense that it was ever there. Instead in its place was a notebook, the one Lanthanos was talking about. She had to get it back to him and fast, before anyone else found out she had it. She quickly made her way out of the cave. Atleast now she new more about what was going on, though she wish she knew more.

"Now, whatever gave you the impression that I was 'nice' to begin with?"
She half drawled, quickly growing tiresome of the whole battle scenario. Her energy was low, and her power was fading slightly as her body tempted her into feeding. Her eyes glittered a fierce firey red within moments, but her blood lust was not fully shown. When she took off into the trees without thinking, then blood lust had overtaken her. Xandria was now weaponless and becoming more irritated as the moments passed.
As she held her hand to her razors to retrieve them they simply shuddered for a moment on the ground and lay motionless again.
"Spirits have never been fair fighters."
She scoffed, moving off toward her razors to retrieve them manually. If Rani attacked her now, there was little to know what would happen, but it was sure that Xandria would have a hard time defending herself.

Rani moved quickly, her hands and spear faded so Xandria could not see them. When they were vizable once again her spear was pressed against the girls throat.
"I resent that."
Grinning slightly she considered Xandria once again.
"You are a very lucky little girl. I could kill you here as you stand but thats not much fun. Your shard holds no value to me either. Therefore you are worthless."
Rani moved her spear away from Xandrias throat. A malicious smiled crossed her face as she suddenly forced the spear into the girls right shoulder leaving a fairly deep gash. Although it was only one wound it almost appeared to be two.
"An eye for an eye. Fair enough for you?"
Stepping back from her she admired her handy work, she knew it would not heal for a long time. Even though the girl was a vampire her spear would make sure she suffered. Sighing she began to fade, mabey there would be more interesting prey elsewhere. Just as she left she caught sight of the girl again.
"Your pathetic."

Xandria held a flicker of surprise in her steely eyes, but it faded quickly to be replaced with the usual cool glare she held for, well, everyone really. There were a few select people that earned a warm look from Xandria but they were all currently dead, and she didn't expect them to come back anytime soon. She let out a slight squeal of pain as the spear was thrust into her shoulder, rendering it currently limp against her side. She placed her hand over it, hatred glittering in her eyes.
"As pathetic as I may be you did not have the courage to kill me. Scared I would rid the world of your scum-like being?"
She called to her, a distinct growl in her voice, conjured from deep in her throat. She patted her side with her good arm and checked she had her weapons, and walked to the tree she had been sitting under before she had been interupted. Bending down she picked up her cloth and waved her hand from right to left over the space where her other weapons were and they came into view, but were lifted and disappeared so she wouldn't have to carry them. She turned to the forest and began to run toward it, blood dripping profusely from her shoulder as it tried to heal.
She needed a feed or the healing would take longer than even Rani had thought.

"The sea..... is an unmerciful master. Relentless.... and unforgiving."
The words seemed to spill out of his mouth without so much as a notice. It had been at least three weeks that he'd been adrift since the boat wrecked, leaving little besides flotsam to keep afloat.
"I cannot help but admire it slightly for its stubborn ferocity........ However, even the sea has its limits... As do I."
The horizon rose higher as he approached the crest of the wave; in the distance the rocky northern shoreline crept closer at a snail's pace.
"It seems........ that I am the one....... to win this...... bout."

"Horta lle. Auta sangana fallaner."*
The young elven cry broke the monotonous lashing of the waves against the sand. Through heavily worn eyes, he caught a figure dash up the coastal cliffs without hesitation as a nearer figure cautiously leaned towards his face. Instinctively Mouse covered the child's mouth with his hand like a snake lunges for its prey. The child struggled at first but soon fell limp down to the sand.
"Shh shh... No need to make a fuss. You're more than enough to help me out. Don't worry. Your friend will be back in time to find you. In fact, all you should remember is your cozy little nap."
Color slowly returned to his limbs and face as he stood to face the cliff. A wry smile stretched from one ear to the other as he slowly strode forward.
"The final obstacle between me and my pursuit. Hardly a challenge compared to what has stood before me thus far.
Of course, the real fun has yet to start."
* Hurry! Go get the healer.

It was late in the evening that Mouse began to feel the warmth leave his fingertips once more. Taking a seat amid the high grass of the plains, he considered his next move.
"Until recently I had only felt that feeling, that aching feeling, from one direction, one place. But now once I've reached here it seems that there are not just one but many... Some so faint I merely know of their presance, but others that draw me forward stronger than ever before. One to the southeast, one to the Northeast. The south seems stronger, however..... To the north.... oddly familiar. As disturbing as that is, it is also.... intriguing. The south shall have to wait. I cannot help but satiate my... curiousity."
Using his crook as a crutch, he took to his feet and set steady pace toward the former druid temple.
