You don't like those kinds of movies? It looks very indie film cliche to me.

It seemed like it was written and directed by every single self-important artsy "gifted" kid I went to school with. I was sitting there in the theater being lectured on all their precious white-kid philosophies. Bastahds.

But if I didn't have that prejudice, I would like the movie just fine.

YES. When I saw the trailer, that is exactly what I was thinking. Not that that would stop me from seeing the movie, I'd like to give it a chance. It's hard to take movies like this seriously sometimes. I often scoff at the 'wannabe indie actors'. A good example would be if J. Lo wanted to do indie/artsy films only. I'm hateful like that.

I got dragged to The Manchurian Candidate. It was not as bad as I thought it would be, pretty good actually. The acting was impressive all around.

I still don't like the "Political Conspiracy" genre.

I just saw the 1990 version of Lord of the Flies.

Just the movie in general left a very strong impression on me.

The ending. It's just... fatal. No good came out of it.
