Ivory as suprised as to how quickly they had reached the city. And since it seemed that this was going to be quite a journey, she could on;y agree that Ola plan of going here was proably in the best intest. But as they reached Ivory turned to see that Kyrin had stopped. She was curious but was worrie that her curiosity was out of line. So was going to phrase this quite delicatly. She hind her fear Ivory clasped her hands behind her back.
"If it is not out of line for me to ask, but for what reason do you wish not to venture into this city?" questioned Ivory

Ola shot Ivory a look, but said nothing herself. If Kyrin wanted to share he would, if he did't, he wouldn't. "I guess we won't be going any farther," She said, "Kyrin and I will wait here." Ola leaned up against a pine tree, looking up into the branches. She watched them sway in the wind and realized that her likfe was very much like one of these branches. At any moment the wind could come up and sweep the branch off the tree, sending it tumbling into the unknown world.

Kyrin, ashamed of his own weakness, stared at the ground, not even looking up as Ivory asked a question. He sighed and simply answered:
I... I have a history there... none to plesant.
Puri knew nothing could be done for Kyrin in his current state so the feary flew to Ivory and sat on her shoulder.
If Puri goes with you and Sir stays here, Puri can relay messages between the two groups!
The little feary looked at Kyrin for a responce, but all Kyrin did was a small handwave as Kyrin started to walk into the forest.

A skip and a step and Ola was right behind Kyrin, "Wait up!" She called after him as she caught up. "You don't have to go into the city, but you do have to put up with me tagging along!" Ola said, sweeping the hair out of her face. "Its not safe to be alone, and I know that sounds like I'm babying you, but its still not safe."

It was times like these that the elf wished to be alone. Tinkering with one of the smoke bombs from in his bag, he wondered if he should use it to lose Ola... if only for a short while. I always have more and and can make more easily... He then just shook his head. Something important just might come up, especially at this stage of the game...
Taking a glace back at Ola, he sighed. She was right, he was just to stubborn to admit it. So instead he simply jumped into one of the trees. He needed to think.
I'll stay near to you, Ola... just don't follow me.

Ivory saw the look and looked away, she hated to pry but it seemed to her that they could never really be a group unless there was a certain amount of trust and openness amoung them. Ivory wondered what they might have wanted at the village, she felt akward going alone, but she wasn't really alone she had Puri with her.
"Well you ready little one." said Ivory with a smile, "Were off to see the village, I just hope everyone else will be ok."

Two treetops away, Kyrin still had sight of Ola he just hoped she couldn't see him, he could just be sadly mistaken. His sight lingered on her for a few seconds longer, then he turned away quickly... He had said he needed to think, that's why he had run away... Such a harsh way of putting it... run away...
But that is what you did Sir...
Kyrin simple shook his head of the feary's thought. He had to think, but of what? Of how his mind had been suddenly over run by the thought of his mother's death 20 yrs ago? How, instead of embracing the first aquiantances he had for years, he had shut them- and even Puri- out of his life from the very beginning? He took another look at Ola and though about how pathetic she must think he is. Why the hell would anyone care about his well being, anyway? He had been little help from the start except for a few medicines... Kyrin sighed, the fleeting though of just leaving came to his mind, Puri could find him quickly when needed.... He shook his head, I can't just leave Ola- I mean, the GROUP! The group... I can't leave them either...
Why was it that just Ola came to mind...? He glanced back down at her. I should head back... in a few seconds actually, I need to clear my head...

"No problem!" Ola said to thin air... Okay, Kyrin was fast.
She pulled an arrow out of her quiver, aiming her bow at a nearby branch... zing! The arrow shot threw the air... And was stuck into the tree a few millimeters off target less then a second later. Ola aimed again... "Lets see if we can split an arrow..." she muttered to herself. zing! Missed the arrow all together. zing!zing!zing! Split the shaft halfway down!
Ola scampered up the tree and plucked her arrows out from the soft bark, even the split one for some reason, and dropped back down to earth. She scanned the treetops. No sight of Kyrin. Ola hoped he would keep his word. She wasn't quite sure if she just wanted company, if she was worried about his safety or what. She just hoped he was there.

Kyrin sighed, It's time to stop running away... He looked down at the group wondering if he should really force this upon himself for them... It's more like for myself... For the most part, it's sure to be an interesting experience... He took one more deep breath, before just letting himself fall off the branch he was standing on. As he free-fell the cool air rushing past was a welcome relief. With the ground coming up quickly, he pulled his body upright and landed gracefully upon the grassy dirt. He walked up to the group, a look of resolve on his face while he brushed off his pants. Puri's flicker showed the feary's confusion, then delight.
What are we standing around for? Let's get going so we can get back.

((Chosen post, hooray!))
Kia looked out around the country-side, especially examining the road miles ahead of her. She had been expecting a messenger to meet her at the crossroads two miles back, but when he didn't show, she decided to search a little farther hoping to meet up with him. He had never been this late before and she worried that something might have happened back home. Although she was far away from the wind country, she couldn't help but feel homesick.
Kia raised her hand to shield her eyes from the sun, squinting to look farther down the road, but there was still no sign of the messenger. She sighed and continued to walk, feeling more and more discouraged by the second.

((Mist character! He'll disappear from the Roleplay as soon as we're done playing him. ))
With a child-like wail, Larin came tumbling toward Kia from behind, crashing into her.
"Kia! Kia! Come on! Up! We need to leave here... Now! The Fifth...." He took a deep breath and nearly fainted. His hyperactive temperment didn't mix well with panic, and he was on the verge of breaking apart. "Com'on, Kia! We gotta leave!! They're almost here!"
Breatheing so quickly one might think he had a hole in his lungs, he started fanning his face with his hand, glowering at the boiling sun.

Kia gasped slightly when Larin, her messenger, crashed into her from behind. That's funny, I could have sworn I was walking in the direction he would be coming from, she thought as she got up quickly, wondering what was wrong with him. "Calm down Larin," She said, trying to get him to sit down, "Do you want some water?" She held out her canteen for him to take it if he needed it.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, NOOOO!!" He said, pushing the canteen away, and standing back up. "We have to leave! Now! Don't you get it, Kia? The Fifth is not far behind me!" He put his hands on her shoulders and shook her like a doll, his dark brown hair getting in his face. Still breathing irregularly, he took a few steps back and snatched the canteen from her and started drinking like he had never seen water in his life.

((Now I'm REALLY scared blaugh ))
Kia looked at Larin dunbfounded, she didn't know what to do, so she did the first thing that came to her mind. She grabbed the canteen back and slapped him hard across the face. "Get ahold of yourself and calm down," She stared intently at him, "Let's just handle this situation calmly and see if we can hide. If it's the fifth, we might not be able to out run them."
