Tenten was JUST about to tell her teammate that she had called Naruto, but before she should get a word, he appeared at the household. She smiled and waved to him.
"Just Naruto. We've both been looking for her."
She turned from Neji to Naruto, and frowned. "Um...well, she looks pale, but I think she'll be okay. Neji said she was crying, too."
She looked back at Neji, and suddenly remembered that he had invited her in. And hey, it was cold outside, and the snow wasn't helping. She quickly nodded with a quick thanks as she walked into his home. She felt her cheeks heat up. SHE was in NEJI'S house.
'Ugh...it's a bummer. I won't be able to go with Neji to the dance...but Hinata's more important right now!' she though as she waited for the other two to come in. She wanted to make sure Hinata was well before she went back to tell Sakura.

Neji narrowed his eyes at Naruto before stepping aside.
"Here, we'll go to Hinata-san's room."
After all these years, he still couldn't kick the habit of adressing Hinata with a title. Dismissing the thought, Neji led them to her room, with Hinata still on his back. Reaching the room, he opened the shoji screen door and gently placed her on the bed.
She probably would be fine, but with his not-so-new olderr-brother instincts, he was still worried about her.
"...Maybe we should have Tsunade-sama of Haruno check her anyays. You know, just in case." he shrugged, trying to give the apperance of that he didn't really care.
Getting up, he walked back to the screen and slid it open, "I shall tell Hiashi-sama about this. Just stay here for now, I'll be back quickly. Watch Hinata-san, alright?"
With that, he slid the screen and walked in the other direction of the hall.
'Now...what do I say?'

Well. She had been the one to bring up the topic first. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all..
"No," was all he said at first.
"And I've turned down more than I can count," he added with a frown. That is, if 'turned down' also meant completely ignoring, walking away from, refusing to speak to, and glaring at. All of which had either caused girls to run home crying, stand dazed and confused, or pursue him even further. The latter seemed to have given up.. thank God..
He raised an eyebrow slightly and asked, "What about you? Kakashi told me you're.. popular with the guys."

Shikamaru smiled. "Ok then. I'll meet you at 8 that day," he said. He wasnt feeling up to the mood to talk. He was exhausted and tired. All he wanted to do pretty much was sit in a corner or under a tree and fall asleep. He gasped and a sweat drop fell off his head when he heard Ino screaming at him. "Ah man. What a drag. Fine. I'll dance. I promise.. I guess." He sighed. "Well, I think Im gonna go out and get something to wear for the dance.. naah..." he said as he walked over and sat down on a seat and fell asleep.

Naruto let out the breath that he unconciously had been holding. She'd be okay.. he hoped. He smiled slightly, and nodded, following the two to Hinata's room.
He was pretty surprised at Hinata's room. It was so much.. neater.. than his. He nodded to Neji, who had left the room and sighed. "She'd better be okay.." He muttered, and looked at Hinata's form covered beneath blankets.
Sakura took a sip of her hot-chocolate. Okay.. so she was getting a bit addicted to the stuff lately.. so what? She almost sighed. Damn Tenten and her amazing hot-chocolate.
She blinked a few times. He didn't have a date? Was he even going to go? Although.. somehow, she couldn't see him getting dressed up in a tux to go there.
"What about you? Kakashi told me you're.. popular with the guys."
She almost laughed. Popular? Well.. that was a new one. Although.. she did get asked to the dance more times than she could count. "I need a new answer to get them away.." She thought, mentally noting to think of something later.
"Well.. I suppose you could say that." She replied, and took another small sip. "I have to think of some more ways to say no to those persistant bastards." She muttered, and glared down at her hot chocolate. Having a house full of bouquets of flowers is quite ridiculous.

Tenten nodded as Neji left the room. She scanned the room, already having been in it many times before.
Nothing had changed.
"Well, I think she just needs to warm up. I'll go fix something warm for her. Once she wakes up, we'll see how she feels. Then I can go get Sakura, and you can wath her, okay?"
Tenten walked towards the door, and headed towards the kitchen area of Hinata's home. She knew the house well enough, after all. Well, girls had sleepovers, right?
She searched the cabinets and found some tea bags. Good, she could make Hinata some warm tea.
Tenten got to work, and hoped that if Hinata woke up with just Naruto, she and the blonde would be able to sort out whatever issues they had with each other...if that's what you could call it.

"If you had a date, you wouldn't have any persistent bastards to turn down."
He wasn't sure why, but it happened to make him a little angry that so many guys were asking Sakura out. It wasn't as though she had a boyfriend.. she was free to go out with whomever she chose. So why was it bothering him so much on the inside?
Sasuke subconsciously clenched his fists. He transferred his gaze to stare outside, and pursed his lips together. "They wouldn't be so persistent if I was with you." He looked at a spot on the table. Had he really just said that? "This is stupid." He was feeling.. anger toward the guys who had asked her out.. and the need to be protective of her.. for what reason?
His eyes lifted to look into hers. "Sakura.." In one small instant moments of his past flashed before him.
What the hell was that?
He blinked, a confused expression showing on his face.
Sasuke closed his eyes and bowed his head slightly as he slid out from the booth. "I have to go." He opened his eyes a little, and turned around, heading out into the winter storm without a second thought.

Neji groaned as he headed back to the room. His chat with Hiashi was...very pleasant, if you know what I mean.
"If she does not get better soon...you shall receive maximum punishment. Understood?"
Hiashi had also gained some over-protective habits over the last few years, but Neji supposed that was a good thing. Luckily, the clan had stopped using the curse mark years ago, but Hiashi still had plenty of methods to use for tort--punishment. Like locking Neji in a room with a video tape of Jiraiya singing the "I'm too Sexy for My Shirt" song.
'I never, ever, EVER want to see that again...'
Groaning again he stopped at Hinata's room and went inside.
'Alright...Tenten isn't here...that makes things a little easier.'
"Uzumaki, come out here for a second."
Neji led him out of the room before slamming his arm against Naruto's neck to the wall.
"What the hell did you do to Hinata-san?!"

The Yamanaka teen gave a simple smile, "How about around six-thirty. That way we can get there in enough time, and will not be rushing things." The last thing Ino wanted to do was miss the dance. She didn't even want to miss a single second of it. She had already gotten the dress, and the fact that she had her date, who was as lazy as heck, she still didn't want to not have a date. She sighed, "You guess? No! Tell me that you will!" She stomped her foot on the ground only to see him leave, and sit down on a chair a fall asleep.
"ARRRGGGG!!! Shikamaru!!!" She then stomped over to the door, and sat down. She was so mad, and was about to punch Shikamaru across the face, but she held her temper, after all she was in a public area.

Sakura looked up when she heard Sasuke talk about saying if she was with him-
"Wai-" Before she could reply, Sasuke had already left. She watched silently as he walked down the street in the storm. Quite an odd moment for an exit.. but it was Sasuke-ish. Just leaving in the middle of a decent conversation.
She stared down at her drink, deep in thought. What exactly did he mean when he said, "They wouldn't be so persistent if I was with you." She gazed at the spot where Sasuke sat before. Even the way he said her name..
Maybe Tenten was right after all..
Naruto coughed slightly at the pressure of Neji's arm on his neck. "What the hell was that for!" He yelled in his mind, and glared as hard as he could in the condition he was in.
"I thought it was you.. you b*****d!" He said, and choked slightly over some words. "She.. she attacked me." He said just above a whisper. "Then she just.. ran out. All I remember is Sakura yelling my name.." He ended, eyebrows furrowed.
"After that.." He stared at Neji, "Hinata ran out of the cafe. Turns out she went right into your little.. forest.. o-out there."

[[Wow. xD Hyuuga Punishment sounds SCARY.]]
Tenten -with a lovely hot cup of tea-, rushed as quickly as she coould without spilling the liquid to the direction of the young Hyuuga's room. She had head a long thump, and was worried about it.
She turned the corner, and glared when she saw Neji and Naruto. She carefully put the cup on the floor, and ran over to they two. She pushed Neji away from Naruto, and stood between the two. She glared at Neji, and turned around and did the same to Naruto. She wasn't sure what had just happened, but she was going to END it.
"What the hell is WRONG with you two!?" she exclaimed, though no TOO loudly, at the two boys.
"Hinata isn't DYING, okay?! Why are you two fighting? If Hinata saw this, she's be only MORE upset! You two are BOTH close to her, and you should both be ashamed to be fighting like this, in HER vicinity."
She backed away to where both boys were in her view.
"Neji, you are her cousin, and she respects you a lot! And Naruto, you're her cru-...good friend," she said. She almost blew it for Hinata. She kicked herself mentally, and hoped that Naruto's density would help it NOT figuring out her screw up.
"Whatever you two were argueing about needs to stop. NOW. This was all a mere misunderstand between Hinata and Naruto, so you can just CHILL OUT, Neji."
Was she yelling at her own crush? Oh my God...Well, it's not like it meant that she liked him less, right? Yeah, it was just friends (Hinata) over the guy. Well, that's settled.
"And Naruto, I don't know what happened to make Neji slam you to a wall, but you SHOULD be watching Hinata, because you owe her an apology, whether it was a mistake or not."
She turned back at Neji.
"And YOU owe an apology to Naruto. So let's hear it."

Once Sasuke was about a block from the coffee house, Kakashi decided to -Poof!- back next to his student.
"Well, well. It doesn't make much sense to leave a warm coffee shop when it's snowing hard," he said casually, as if the snow and the wind didn't exist.

Neji crossed his arms over his chest and glared, "I don't need to apologize. It's because of his own stupidity that led to this. Besides..." he glanced over at Tenten and then Nartuo, "All I wanted to know was what Uzumaki did to make Hinata-san cry. So, what's this about Naruto needing to apologize?"
He glanced over at the two again before smirking a little. Destiny was finally up to something good!

Hinata woke up lazily and blinked her eyes. She glanced around the room before concluding that she was in her bedroom. Someone must've brought her there so she wouldn't die in the cold. She coughed violently and hoped that no one heard her when she finally notcied that she felt sick, and closed her heavy feeling eyes.
Hearing voices drift in from outside, she was about to get up before realizing that it was just so warm and toasty inside her bed. Glancing at the door, she snuggled back into her bed.
'No one will mind if I sleep for a few more minutes. Then again, it's not like anyone cares...'
With that, Hinata drifted back into sleep, hoping for a good dream.

The Uchiha actually jumped when Kakashi appeared out of thin air. The weather was definitely screwing up his sensing abilities.. how could he not know that Kakashi was nearby? Or maybe.. the man was never nearby.. but just had wonderful timing..
After regaining his composure, glaring for a nice long moment, he began walking again. "And what's your excuse?" he snapped. "Don't lie and say 'I had an important meeting to attend to' because no 'important' meeting can be that short." He turned his narrowed gaze on his teacher. "You left to leave me alone with Sakura."
It was quite obvious that the Uchiha was currently in one of his infamous bad moods.
"That didn't help at all," he muttered. "I didn't ask.. I couldn't.. I don't know why.."

It was amusing, to say the least, to watch his calmest student jump in surprise. However, he did just pop up all of a sudden...maybe he should do that more often. In front of Sakura and Naruto...just to give them some entertainment.
Was he really that mean, though. Hmm. Maaaybe~
Kakashi faked a look of hurt, "Aw, don't say it like that. Like you would have done anything if I were there," he confessed. After all, it's not like if he said 'Oh, it's not that, I just didn't get lost on the road of life today;, the young Uchiha would turn, point accusingly, and yell out 'Liar!'
As amusing as that would be, Sasuke wasn't like that. Nor did he look like he was in a good mood, and Kakashi didn't like to tease his students TOO much. Especially Sasuke, who had quite a bit to deal with in his life.
He glanced at Sasuke. "So, what's your plan? Or do you even HAVE one?"
