Pausing at ishu's words and hesitation, a gnawing feeling grows in my stomach as Yitnoru's eyes switches with my own. Turning slowly, my body appearing a bit straighter as Yitnoru shrugs off all the pain, I lick my lips slowly, smirking.

"Blood. I smell...blood..." My voice, gruff with the almost true voice of the demon within, I flex my hands a bit. Doubling over quickly, I fall onto my knees and backwards slightly as I push Yitnoru aside, hoping not scare Ishu too much.
Tumbling backwards a few feet in pain, I am greatful for closing my blades earlier.

"Damn you, Yitnoru. Now is not the time. I have a plan..." My voice, returning to normal with my eyes, I struggle to get back to my feet, staring at the house. Sniffing the air, I can smell the hint of blood drifting from within, as well as the scent of what I was hoping to show Ishu.

Looking toward the woods to the house, I chew on my lower lip slightly, trying to figure out which to pursue, yet knowing ultimately that I wouldn't make it into the house anyway with the other Shinobis about. Why not use the shadows? They won't see you and we can taste...

No. Stop it Yitnoru. Something is wrong in there, but if my senses are right, something is wrong in the woods as well. If we go there, we can stop that without anyone being hurt. If we try to go into the Kage's house, we are going to get thrown out again.

"Ishu...we can't go in there to help her even if someone is in there...come with me please...I might need you..."

"Yes...I felt it" Leina muttered and began twisting her body in the direction of the household. "You two can go if you wish....Im going to check on Nayami-sama" she said beginning to walk briskly towards the house. Quickly she jumped and landed in front of the door and fiddled with the knob and opening it quickly walking inside the home and nodding to Kumi and Ishu that everything will be fine and she will make sure of it as well. Also, she looked at Kumi lightly, her eyes showing that she felt something in the woods but preffered to check on Nayami.

Lightly looking inside Nayami's home she quickly walked up the steps and looked around each hallway she came to sensing for where the Kage was. The hairs at the nape of her neck were tingling with a painful sensation she wanted to go away. She usually received that sensation when she knew someone of important status as well as a fellow shinobi was injured. It always came, even before she knew her healing jutsus. Walking into what seemed to be Nayami's room she looked around hearing the rushing of water. "Nayami-sama?" she called out. It was better to stay where she was rather than to barge into where Nayami was. She wasnt to sure how the Kage would react at her being there.

At the sound of Leina’s voice, Nayami ever so slowly lifted up her head. Her chin continued to rest upon her knees as she tilted her face in Leina’s direction.

“If there’s something you want from me it’s going to have to wait…”

Her voice trailed off slightly as her bright orbs slowly fell back down to watch as her own blood continued to spill down the drain.

“Unless…the village is under attack…or something as serious as that. If not…you’re a big girl and you should be able to handle it on your own.”

The Kage called this all out to Leina as she remained in the shower. The warm water pouring down her seating figure as she continued to hug her knees tightly to her chest.
It had been awhile since Nayami had been alone and finally she was going to take advantage of this special kind of time. Mostly she was trying to organize her thoughts and emotions, trying to pair them together to see where the origin of the feeling came from. In a way, she was analyzing her own behavior, trying to see what pushed her off the edge of insanity and how she could fix it in order to make herself stronger.

“I have…to get this mission over and done with. His presence is the only thing that is driving me insane. I can’t take it…I can’t live while he’s still alive.”

Listening quietly to Nayami, Leina closed her eyes and nodded either way knowing Nayami couldnt see what she was doing. "As you wish, I just came to see if you were alright........Dont hesitate to call if you need anything. But I did come to inform you of something else, but I'll just let it wait until you wish to speak of it, it is nothing of great importance....." Leina said lightly yet loud enough for Nayami to hear through the rushing water.

Bowing she left the Kage's quarters and began descending down the stairs to head back outside and wait for Ishu and Kumi to return to tell them they would have to wait a bit longer to see the Kage. By the sound of Nayami's voice, she knew she shouldnt bother Nayami until she felt better. Until then, she would just have to wait.

Rei decided to follow Leina inside, for one he needed to make sure Nayami was all right like he wanted to in the first place when Hageshii was sealing off the area. So he had every reason to go inside.

"Nayami-sama, are you all right? I've been trying to check on you since this morning. Hageshii-san would not let me in." He remarked, folding his arms as he stared at the door. The way he had his head angled, it was almost like he knew exactly where Nayami was in the bathroom. If he'd known she was fully clothed in the shower, he'd have simply gone in despite how Nayami would react. His job was the Arashikage's well-being, even if making sure she was safe meant getting killed simply for invading her privacy.

A second disturbance was all it took for Nayami to finally leave her place in her thoughts. She rose up slowly from her spot along the bottom of the shower, her long wet hair sticking slickly along the back of her neck. Reaching out for the shower tap, her slender fingers soon coiling around the warm metal as she twisted it in an upwards direction, finally cutting off the constant downpour of water.

Nayami’s blood seemed to once again collect along her pale skin, the bright crimson clearly visible as it began to leak over her flesh, the water no longer rinsing it from her body.

Approaching the door that lead into her bathroom, the Kage paused slightly as she rested her palm up against the smooth wood. She could feel the glass twist and turn as it continued to situate itself deeply in her skin. Sliding the door back she opened it with great force so the wood would smash against its hinges as she whipped it open.

Standing now in the entrance way, Nayami kept her head dropped, her long wet hair spilling over her face as she kept her body still.

“I’m fine…” She replied simply as a dark trail of blood followed her from the shower.

Rei frowned at his master, shaking his head as he noticed the bits of glass lodged into her skin. This wasn't anywhere near fine. Nayami wasn't a very good bullshitter for such a brilliant woman.

"Next time, pull the glass out before you tell someone you're fine when you're lying. You look less self-abusive, Nayami-sama." He remarked bluntly. "I'm going to try and catch Leina-san, you need to get those wounds taken care of immediately." He added, folding his arms as though he would actually be able to force her into allowing it to happen if she decided to be stubborn about it.

He didn't know if he should argue or agree with Kumi, but Leina seemed to have the Kage's house under wraps. Besides, Kumi seemed kind of eager to show him something... or do something, he wasn't too sure. Still, it was outside the village. He was kind of curious, but he was also unsure.

He forced himself to follow Kumi, even catching up to take her hand, as she started heading back toward the village proper. "Kumi...What are you going to show me?" he asked, lacking the same eager curiosity that he had shown before. He was still curious, but something was nagging at his mind, almost as if warning him. Urging him to be on guard for something sinister.

Still, he really didn't think Kumi was like that. It was just this feeling in his mind that wouldn't go away. Was he really this suspicious of people before he forgot everything? He held his head a little lower, watching the ground more so than where the were going. His mind had fallen in and was staring around in the darkness. The only light was of the most recent events.

Apparently, Kumi was going to help add more events to his mind. He remembered almost everything that had happened so far since it was all he had to remember. It wasn't as comforting as he hoped it would be once he realized it.

Reaching out slowly Nayami rested her hand on top of Rei’s shoulder, her fingers curling gently over his skin as she dragged him close. “Don’t…you dare get Leina for me. I’m fine on my own.” The Kage whispered softly into his ear as she leaned in, her face delicately brushing up against his cheek as she remained close. Reaching down with her other free hand she dug a few of her nails into her skin as she removed a shard of glass from inside of her flesh. The bright crimson stained the fair sized object, her warm liquid tainting Rei’s hand as she forced it roughly into his palm. “I don’t…need anyone.” Shoving him against the wall Nayami walked right past Rei, her body slightly nudging against his as she passed by.

“Get everyone ready. We leave tomorrow.”

Her voice was as cold as ever, her tone drained off all emotion as she tried to ignore her constant serge of pain.

As Nayami walked down the dark hallways of her house she would randomly remove different chunks of glass from her skin, tossing them down effortlessly to the ground, not really caring where they fell or if anyone would step on them.

Rei sighed and shook his head, tossing the shard into a small bin nearby after Nayami handed it to him. He nodded to the Arashikage's order for preparation. He'd start with Leina since she was closest, unless she decided she would just leave on Nayami's reply and might be elsewhere. He wasn't sure where the others were though.

"Yes, Arashikage-sama, I will alert them right away." He replied, bowing to Nayami before turning and dashing out, stopping just outside when he realized Leina hadn't gone far at all, seeming to be waiting on Nayami to change her mind and talk to her or something.

"Leina-san, Arashikage-sama has given the order to prepare for the mission, we're leaving tomorrow." He stated, nodding slightly to her. "If you could find Hageshii that would be appreciated. I'm not sure where he or Michio-sama are." He added, about to dash off so that he could get to hunting down the shinobi.

Leina stopped when she felt Rei come walking down, in a bit of a hurry, and stop in front of her. Her arms crossed, and her head tilted to the side as Rei spoke, she shook her head. "Very well then....I'll prepare for tomorrows mission...." she was about to continued to walk to the village to get her package she asked for to have ready by the village herbalist before stopping again looking at Rei.

"I'm not sure if Hageshii went out of town, but go check in the village, or any of the other places such as the Plateau. Michio, I havent seen him since who knows when. The last time I did sense him around, was in the Grotto...." she said and then turned around closing her eyes. "If I see any of them in the village though....I'll tell them as well that we leave tomorrow." she nodded and once again continued on her way

It wasn’t long before Nayami reached the exit to her house, her eyes not even falling upon Leina as she walked right past the young female. The Kage had more important things on her mind at this moment in time, one of those many things being Hageshii. She wasn’t really worried, no that wasn’t the right word for it, Nayami was more so interested in him more then ever now. The sudden surge of great power when she watched him in awe as he changed appearances, something was up and she was determined to find this out.

“I know…exactly where he is.” The Kage muttered lightly to herself as she continued to remove the sharp objects from her skin, her nails digging into her flesh as she flicked them to the ground, her hands completely stained with blood as she made her way down the path which lead to the grotto.

The woman stepped lightly on the way to her Kage's home, her movements were almost untrackable. Violet orbs were cast to the ground as she walked, and her arms her crossed behind her. By all appearances it was a vurnerable position to be in, but then, Shikk wasn't a person to 'go by appearances' with. A scythe was strapped across her back, along with a travelling pack, and numerous Kunai hung from her belts. She was coming back from a long journey, nearly a year it had been since she looked on the errie house atop the hill. And the sight brought a smile to her face. "It is good to be back..."

Shikk tilted her head back and stopped walking, she knew that Nayami could sense her presence, so there was really no need for her to go any further. That, and she didn't exactly have permission to be on the Kage's personal grounds, and doing something that their Kage didn't want was never a good idea.

Especially if you wanted to keep your organs where they were.

Shikk knew too that there was a chance Nayami wan't home, but she was content to wait for her. But she also knew that Nayami might attack, just for the fun of things, and so the woman quickly discarded her backpack and scythe, standing apparently defenseless in the road except for two strange looking bracers and a lot of kunai.
PostPosted: Thu Nov 02, 2006 2:33 pm

Shikk smiled and sat down on the road, by now having realized that Nayami was busy elsewhere. With the area clear infront of her, she grabbed a kunai and slit a line down her palm, then quickly her hands began to move infront of her chest, eyes closed, and a dark red energy imminating from them. Her eyes flashed open and her palms hit the ground, a seal formed on the dirt, and then in an instant a hyena was standing there. His dark red fur rippled once, and he shook himself into awareness. "Hello Shikk...no one else here...why did you summon me?"

"I needed something around. We're back at the village now, but the Kage isn't here." Shikk smiled lightly through the bandages and scritched behind the hyena's ear. "Sit with me for a while?"

"Of course." The summoning obediently sat down infront of the woman, and then let out a strange primal giggle. "Must we sit though? I'm feeling rather...violent."

"How...rude of me." Shikk grinned wickedly, and then stood up, the hyena coming to stand just above her waist. She backed up, to allow a few feet of space between the summoning and human. "To first blood?"

"Second blood, I want to taste it." The hyena snarled and then coiled it's muscles, taking a powerful leap at Shikk. She turned out of the way, and then let loose a flurry of punches at the summon, none of these fists hit anything though, both combatents were used to the opening moves. The second the hyena hit the ground he was off again, maw opened wide to catch her neck. Instead of turning, Shikk snarled and then jumped at the summon, catching him in mid-air. Both leaps were powerful, and so they crashed together with a force that would have knocked them both back, but Shikk grabbed a handfull of fur and toar at the Hyena's pelt, in turn the summon latched it's teeth around her shoulder, blood from both combatents flew, and they pushed from eachother, landing with heavy breath on the ground.

Shikk looked at her bloody shoulder, the bandages hadn't torn, but they had moved from the spot, exposing torn flesh. Her bright eyes loked over to the Hyean where, he stood on four legs, patches or fur were torn out and blood marred his pelt. "I think these should both count as two bloods?"

"I agree. I'll sit with you know." The hyena smiled and then started to laugh as it walked over to Shikk, who giggled her way
onto the ground. there the pair sat, laughing out their hysteria.

It had been a while, and he began to wonder if those clouds would pour their life upon him and the village before he found Nayami. He hoped not, after all, it sucked being wet. But he had a lead now... a sign! It said that it knew the way to Nayami's house, and was kind enough to even point the way. Signs these days, so helpful. He managed a smile as he ran along the path until another sign was so kind as to further his cause.

It wasn't long now before he came upon the incline that lead to Nayami's house. He slowed as he heard almost animalistic laughter, that just wasn't normal. As he worked his legs into carrying him up the hill, he looked upon the sight of the bandaged woman and the hyena, both slightly bloodied. But, they weren't fighting, at least not anymore. Here they were, talking.

It had to have been a summon, which meant she was a ninja. A skilled shinobi, at least to a degree. She was able to summon a creature, it wasn't exactly a small feat. One that he had yet to wrap his fingers around. Still he made his way closer to them, cautiously.

"Excuse me, would you happen to know where Nayami-chan is?"

(( You're up Shikk ))
