Korgath sighed. He saw nobody around him. He turned around, and saw a deer. "Hmm..." he said, a grin across his face. He drew his sword and thre it into the deers side. He walked over to it. He grunted, and ripped a leg off before pulling his sword out. He began eating the meat off of the leg.

Valery shook her head, "I am fine, thank you miss Mollie." She looked over to Kahlan. She knew she had gotten hurt, although she didn't know how bad it had been, let alone what it might do to her pride if she answered for her, so instead she jsut allowed Kahlan to answer if she so wished.

Kahlan shook her head.
No, Miss Mollie...I am not injured enough to take any attention away from Valery...Please, if she has anything wrong with her, you heal her first.
Kahlan looked back in Carth's direction when he spoke.
This is all good and well, but I think we should get back to the light-elven camp. Your lord, Miss Mollie, might need some help. For now, in return for not killing you, I insist you use your powers to heal my men. After all, they did sacrifice alot to protect you.
Carth still didn't seem trustworthy, so Kahlan kept her eye on him. What if he was lying about him being her brother. There was only one way to know for sure.
Remove your armor and top clothing, Carth. Do it now, or I will kill you...
Carth did as he was told, and stripped off his armor and tunic, revealing his chest. Kahlan did the same. It was true. He was her brother. A somewhat 'celtic' symbol that meant the words "human" in elvish, spread across both their breasts and stomach. Kahlan could tell her friend was shocked. Valery had seen Kahlan without her top on many times, but never noticed the large tattoo on her chest. Apparently, it wasn't visible to the naked eye, for it only appeared around the time of battle.
You...ARE...my brother...I-I-I can't believe it...

Mollie didn't like this human. Demanding healing even though she knew him to have killed thousands of elves. But...it was not up to her to make that desition. It was up to her lord and she would follow his command...as long as she was there to protect him. In respect for the discovery Kahlan just made she waited until they were ready to head back to camp. Her lord had asked her to look after his guests and she would do that as best she could.
An elven scout apporched the feasting orc carefully. "Have you come seeking allies?"

Valery was indeed shocked. She wasn't sure whether to feel happy for Kahlan, or what. Her mind was a turmoil of emotions. She sat there shocked, uncertain of what to do now-she was truly stumped.

]Even though it was shocking news, Kahlan didn't let her emotions get the best of her. Instead, she sucked it up and addressed Carth with a stone-cold face.
Us being siblings still doesn't change anything. Your original plan was to kill us, so don't think I won't kill you if I need to...
Despite the foul aura radiating between them, Carth smiled. He had finally found his long lost, baby sister. With that, they made their way back to camp.

Rinzen was still managing the camp as it was put back together. He was mildly releaved to find his guests safe but not so much that the human was with them. He however smiled at Valery and Kahlan. "I am glad you ladies came to no harm." As he talked his eyes went to Mollie who had her solider face on. She was still very displeased at this human and the others around camp as well. "This...man wants us to heal his troops in return for not killing our camp as well as the dark elves that attacked." Rinzen took in this information but said nothing at the moment.

Valery nodded politely, not sure what to say, so she merely put on her polite princess look, whilst trying to figure out what to do now.

Kahlan kept purposely shoving herself between Carth and Valery so she could protect her. Like she had stated before, she would not let family change the way she was to act. Stealing glances at Carth everyone once in a while, Kahlan kept her elvish blade visible as a warning. When she heard Mollie talk to Rinzen about the healing of Carth's troops, she butted in.
If I may speak, I would like to give my opinion on this matter. May I?

I do believe that your people owe Carth's men some sort of gratitude, and healing may be just the thing, but...how do we know that they will remain our ally? Even though he is my brother, I do not trust him. After all, he is a human, and humans do not deserve trust! Though, without your assisstance, many people may die, and perhaps those dark-elves will return with reinforcements. We wouldn't want that now, would we?
Kahlan was right. Though she was only seventeen, she had studied under the highest ranking strategists during her training, so her opinion was valued. Hopefully, Lord Rinzen would agree.

Valery agreed, knowing how Kahlan was trained, "M'lord, I have grown up with Kahlan, so I would just like to say-he opinion is a good one, and I have always found it comforting to know I have her expert support." She bowed slightly, indicating that she was done speaking for now.

Lord Rinzen could not dispute the words spoken by both the young ladies and nodding in agreement. "So shall it be." He looked at one of the few medics that they had and motioned him closer. "Heal the humans but keep a careful that they do not harm anyone. If they even make a motion to do so then do what you must to protect our own people."
Mollie frowned slightly but said nothing as the healer ran off to do as him was bid.

Carth smiled sinisterly.
Haha! That's more like it! Go, heal my men!
Kahlan looked at him with disgust. She whispered in Valery's ear.
I am sorry he is my brother, Val, but despite how he acts, we should give him a chance. Is that ok with you?

"You sir!" Rinzen snapped at the human before him. "If you want our assistance you will not speak as such to my people. I do not know why you aided us nor why the other elves attacked us but do not think that we trust you any further then we can throw you. That is one of your human sayings is it not?" There was a deadly cold edge to his voice making it very clear if it had not been before how much he didn't trust this man.
