You have the Ultimate Edition, karomon? I think I'm gonna be getting the Final Edition since it has all the same extras as the UE. I already own it, but I think it would be worth it for all the extras.

I don't think so. Like I said, Simpan's not on the DVD I have. But I could swear somehow I saw it. I need to remember how.

Hmm, my bad, I thought Simpan was on the UE. I wonder where I saw the dvd that it was on...
I think it would be really worth getting the Final Edition if there was some way to get a translated transcript of all the extras.

What am I going to do with the Oldboy DVD I have now! gonk I like the cover. But I want the final edition, too, esp if it has the soundtrack with it.

I loved all of them! But that's a nice one. The tears make it stand out, I guess. I'm trying to find out which of Park's re-occuring themes will make it into this movie. The revenge will, of course, but there's stuff that's been in both Sympathy and Old Boy that I'm thinking about. For example:
- Character put to sleep, waking up in a desolate and unfamiliar place where they must get their s**t together and start fending for themselves. (Daesu on the rooftop, Ryu in a warehouse)
- Innocent child victimized
- Violent thugs running a well-organized underground business
Can anyone think of more?
