After all of the hanging around here I've done, I'm not sure that I've even introduced myself properly yet!

I'm 24, I'm from the UK, and I've been a Sonic fan for the last 13 years, ever since a poster of Tails in a pre-release promotional display for Sonic 2 made owning a Mega Drive/Genesis look interesting.

Since then, I've been found dipping into all of the various other continuities - although a refusal to stump up mass amounts of cash on upgrading consoles every year has largely reduced my game knowledge to retro-gaming, a borrowed GC and the ROM market.

I suppose that after that, by default, my specialism should be the Fleetway comics I saw through a complete run of; but I've had an Archie subscription for over six years now, so things evened out.

I do some work at Sonic HQ in what passes for my spare time, but don't make the mistake of thinking that Sonic's all I'm interested in. I'm far more likely to be found writing my own fantasy fiction (which I'd like to get published someday), drawing cartoons or with my nose in a book.

Currently, I'm a Children's Librarian, working in the north of England. But I'm also a freelance journalist (with a few interesting tales to tell about where I've been and who I've met wink ). If it's legible, it gets read. smile

I write my own, original stories, though - not based on any series. I don't write fanfics, so they wouldn't fit in there.

I do enjoy reading some of the stories there, though. smile

Oi! The name is Noctalys, and I own a Genesis, which I still play like an addict sorely in need of a fix. Some of my favorites would definately have to be Ecco, Phantasy Star, Mystic Defender, Sonic, and Ghouls N Ghosts. I own quite a few games for the Genesis, and am eagerly hunting for more....

hello
my name is artemismeow
you can call me artemis.

i've had sega stuff all my life, but i became a sega freak when the genisis launched. after my first genesis busted (rest in peace) my mom wanted to me a super nintendo. but i stuck to the genesis.i had the sega cd adaptor. and i later bought a cdx. never did buy the 32x sad but i loved it played it at my friends house and it was cool.

then the saturn launched i waited a few years to buy it though cause i couldnt afford it. and finally i got it when it was bundled with virtua fighter 2, virtua cop and daytona.

the dreamcast i bought when it launched i still remember the day by the way, september 9th of 1999.

then sega announced they would no longer make hardware. of course i blamed sony for this and refused to buy anything sony. somehow i tought if i just bought anything and everything sega they would change their minds about leaving the console business. i bought 3 new dreamcast during this time hoping that it would be enough to revive them. i also told all my friends about sega. sega had also announced they would make games for all the new consoles so i decided to get an xbox because smile bit would be producing games exclusively on xbox (jet set radio future, panzer dragoon orta and gun valkyrie) and when the gamecube launched i got it cause it would have most of the sonic games. sony had some cool sega titles i couldnt pass up so i had to get a ps2 for virtua fighter 4 and space channel 5. i no longer hate sony but i dont like the idea of such an evil empire leading the console race.

hullo ^_^

i'm H.D and of all the sega systems, Sega Saturn is my fav *huggles saturn*
I recently uncovered my long lost saturn from my stuff(since we're moving) and wanted to play so badly, but my visual cord was broken a long time ago byb my brother T__T
So I ordered a new one off ebay *ish still awaiting cable*
NiGHTS and Sonic have been my favorite sega characters, and I wish they would make a come back (not including that new shadow game comminc out... god he has a gun gonk )
and uh.. yeah after ncovering my saturn I wondered if there were any NiGHTS guilds and found this sega guild, so here I am.

and er.. woops I blabbered a bit, I like drawing, computers and video games.. and uh.. yeah.. *scurries off to rest of guild*

Hiieeee.
I never did properly introduce myself here, so I thought I would now.

I'm almost 18, and I've been a sonic fan I think since I was 7, when I got a Genesis and Sonic 2 for my birthday. I really, REALLY liked the old Sonic SatAm cartoon, and I've basically grown up with sonic.
I sold my Genesis not to long ago, for 15 whole dollars! (lol, can you feel the sarcasm?) But I have Sonic Mega Collection so that covers the Sega games I lost. I still have my Sega CD and Sonic CD (I love the opening scene for that game...) I used to play that a lot as a kid too. It belonged to my step-brother though. Ours now. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
I got a Dreamcast when Sonic Adventure 2 came out, and sadly that was around the time they stopped making any other games for it. Eventually I bought Sonic Adventure. (yeah so I played them out of order...)
My favorite characters are Knuckles, and above all, Shadow. (I hate Knuckles' rap-filled levels in SA2.... stare )
I love to write fan-fiction, although I don't much any more. I spend my time drawing.
http://akkito.deviantart.com if you're interested.
I think Sonic is what made me really get into anthro - my current drawing style (animal people for those who don't know)

I'm sure I'm boring you, so I'll just stop there. I really like Chao too. ^_^ *huggles her chao* Yeah. That's it.

*waves* See ya'll around.
