Zahar waved quickly back, but SK was already back to the forge hammering steel. She turned and looked at Mavrick and Artimis. "Well it is time to go." She said as she moved up to them and knelt beside the boy. Placing one hand lightly on Artimis' shoulder Zahar squeezed lightly. "Time to get up. We have a long walk before us." Mavrick stood up on the other side of Artimis and stretched.

arts eyes snapped open and the bright sun was shining directly into them. he growned inwardly and curled up befor stretching and rubbing his eyes to see Zahar stairing at him. his head hurt from where he had fallen. and his hand was throbbing as well. uhg.. how long have i been out, he asked zahar.

Zahar smiled weakly at him then looked up to the sun. It was nearing mid day now. "You have been out for a few hours. Do not worry you have not missed too much. Just some discussion, and manual labour." She released his shoulder with a smile and gave it a light pat before standing. Holding out her hand for Artimis she added, "We are going back to the home base. Gathering some of the seeds they have in storage there to build a garden here." Her voice was light.

She laughed and smiled at Artimis. "No not breaking things. He is creating something." With a small nod she looked around. "The sooner we leave the better, I believe. I would hate to be out in the darkness. Though even if we take awhile at the base we should get back in plenty time for dinner." Zahar paused at that thought and took Art's hand. "Maybe I should see if I could raid Kataio's pantry and pick something up to go with the berries we have, what do you think?"

do you know what he is making then? he looked to the shed, is it for you? is it your prize? and and and, he stammered, nevermind, yes perhaps we should get something else to eat and it seems sk will be busy. maybe we can make him a meal. his eyes smiled, shall we be off then?

"I am not sure as to what he is making. I did not ask since he seemed quite taken by his work." She said as she started to walk forward still holding Art's hand. "Are you hungry now or would you be all right to wait till we got to the base? We could have something small there and then make something larger here for a late lunch or early dinner." Zahar smiled at the boy wondering how long it would take to get everything for the forge.

(we are grabbing stuff for the garden, just thought that he might be hungry since he has been sleeping for awhile. And what I ment by the forge was just the area in general. It was better then calling it the shack hehe)
"I already let him know. He agreed that a garden might be a good thing. It is something that I know how to tend, and it would provide a food source that we can monitor." Zahar smiled at the boy and looked back the way they had walked. I can navigate with the sunlight. There should be some berries up ahead if I remember from my walk earlier. Would you like to pick those for your meal? Or should we head back?" She stood patiently waiting for his thoughts.

ok he said mentally. the walked along side by side to the bushes zahar had mentioned. Artimis knelt down and a began picking ones that seemed firm yet soft enough to be ripe. he ate one quickly to taste it. the sweet juices were of a very nice texture and boquet. smiled with his eyes and picked a few more, they are very good, you should have some too, he said as he stood with an armfull for the walk back to the base.

Zahar nodded, wishing she had grabbed a bucket as she picked a large handful for herself. Eating a few before turning to Art to say, "Are you ready to be off? Or should we stay and eat a few more?" Her lips and tongue we slightly stained with berry juice as her hand was sure to be under the pile of berries. Popping a couple into her mouth as she enjoyed a few more moments of berry goodness.
