Arboll Stalkers and Borgor and Grax I never found very useful, you should make a trade list and try to get some commons for more recent sets .... like Zungg, or Ravel Drush, or anything other than the Awakening creatures... Wudge and Core Grag are for sure keepers... I like Black Agovo but watch out against advanced players cause if they have a Crown it could kill you... If your going with Naroom Shadow you have to use Warrada and drop one of your other Magi... Ogar is good probably better than Morag since her effect works on your turn and your opponents... I would also have your Warrior Boots in the deck

well trust takes time, first start off with trades that you don't care about or with people you've talked to for a while, like me... It's highly unlikely that I've talked to you and played against you so much just so I can stiff you on a trade... But it's up to you, I can't make you trade. But you few options since you say you can't buy new cards, and you don't like using software that lets you play cards you don't actually have(something I admire)... I think that only leaves you with Trading... My record for trades have been 200+ and only one stiff from someone from Brazil (no offence to anyone from there its a great place). But Trades have helped me get what I needed verse having 10 copies of Ugger.

Well its easy you have to have a list, then talk it out, then send in a letter... It helps if you have Card Protectors (like the Hard ones) and send them in a Large Letter and hope for the best that the Mail man doesn't lose it... I like to rap them in a paper like a Letter for added protection and to make it look like a actual Letter...Sometimes I even write on the paper or get Security Letters just to be safe...

Oh, I see. Interesting. Well I will try, but it might be a bit before I can trade.

Magi

Hrada
Harror, Nightstalker
Korremar

Relics

Collar of Despair x3
Ebony Mirror x2
Warrada's ring x2

Spells

Blight x1
Corrupt x3
Gloom x1
Maelstrom x3
Nightmare channel x3
Shadow Rain x3
Spirit of the Core x2
Vaporize x2

Critters

Core Grag x3
Dark Ayebaw x3
Orok x3
Rous x1
Trask x1
Wudge x3
Zungg x1

This here's just a goofy little Core deck I made, 40 cards, trying to specialize on knocking Magi down to zero energy and holding them there with Collars of despair and Nightmare channels, while my little critters sap away their defenses. It's not the best, but I'd thought I'd post it and get some thoughts. =)

I got bored, and found my D'reshi deck again, so, naturally, I had to tweak it some, and after a little playtesting, I found I rather liked tha new version, so, let's see if anyone else likes it, shall we?

Magi (in order of appearance)
Nashiq
Nahara
Risha

Relics (6)

Dune Compass x2
Sun Glasses
Amulet of Sand
Lens of Truth
Ythra's Mantle

Spells ( 18 )

Horizon's Mirage x2
Lightning sand x2
Oasis
Sunburn x2
Forgotten Tales x2
Forgotten Dreams
Forgotten Songs x2
Dessicate x2
Crushing Sands x2
Sandswirl
Crystal Vision

Critters (16)

Bulabantu x2
Sandsifter x3
Swirling Orshaa x2
Chasm Jile x2
Darbok
Bone Grag x2
Sandsinger X2
Izmer
Uban

Total: 40

I'm sure it's not the best D'reshi yall have ever seen, but I happen to like it, utilizing Nashiq first to get as many cards in play as I can (Via Salvage popping things back into the deck so I can play them much cheaper). Then Nahara, channeling Oracle powers to shuffle them back in, and finally, Risha, with the back up Oracle boom! Powers. Swirling Orshaa is there to act as an extra Oracle if it needs to, and much of the supporting cast is either there to help me get oracles in play, or to ping away at opponents. I'm hoping my little Darbok + Bulabantu combo, expensive as it is, actually ends up being worth it (Play Bulabantu to shave three off an opposing creature, darbok bounces Bula back to my hand for four off an opposing creature, next turn, do it again, and again, and again. Granted the Darbok will end up killing itself, but that's half the fun wink )

well after playing against this deck which i had no idea was posted here a few days ago... I'd say it at least needs 3x Bone Grag's... I still don't think Oracles are Creature Types (like 'Bone' or 'Grag' is a type but Oracle isn't in the name of a Creature so i don't think you can use it in the same manor...the same would go for illusions, Arctic, Stalkers, etc.) so if your going to try and pull Risha Combo to trash a Magi I'm not sure if it would work as well... I loved your Sandshifter/Horizon's Mirage combo it forced me to attack you when I wanted to use my Magi's Effect (kiersta)... Also the Forgotten Songs/Amulet combo was a surprize... over all I thought it was good, If you want to test another version of it against another one of my decks lmk

I would have disagreed if I posted this quick without thinking about it. However, I just thought to look up the text on Scyalla

Starting: two different non-hyren creatures of the same type i.e. two different Xyxes (woulda thought the plural to by xyx myself, but hey)

So I think, with that bit of evidence, I'll agree with you there and say the Orshaa can't be an Oracle. It was a good idea though.

yes totally would of been the Key to making the Risha deck work better. Sorry I know for sure its been ruled Every part of the name is a Type pretty much so like Dark, (which I think cover more unique Creatures) Hinko, xyx, and Jile all work with Scyalla... you and also use say you really like Reef Hyren and you want it in your Weave deck then you just pick the Reef. One Exception would be Dark and DarkBreed are not the same if you go with DarkBreed... Some kid tried to pull that one on me once.

Ahh! well, you could have told me you knew for sure in the game, I wouldn't have been annoyed about it, I just assumed that arctic, jungle stalker, oracle, etc are all types, but didn't actually read the card library through well enough, there's no dispute in my mind after re-reading Scyalla (the benefits of having all the cards on the computer =) )

Dark is considered a type too? that's...kind of twisted
PostPosted: Sat Jul 01, 2006 11:37 am

yeah well I knew but some people build decks about one way and if by chance you were stuck on using it that way I didn't want the game to end over rules...done that to many times... I figured you would figure it out over time... and you did...
And time you want to play again you lmk
