Keiko Nakashima (Korin-Chan)
"Well well," The animalistic voice growled from behind the being as the werewolf like being stepped out of the shadows, the unusually sleek build of the wolf moving silently across the expanse resting between herself and Kigen, "Still here?" she continued in a mocking voice as she came to face him her pearly white teeth bared to expose the scarlet liquid staining them...she had indeed been feeding.

"Perhaps your leg has healed?" she continued and then released another small chuckle, her head canting to the side as her ears perked. The beast held an aire of intelligence as though controlled by the human trapped within it yet still blood lust was predominantly on the beings mind.

::Kigen nearly flinched at the growling half-beast voice behind him, as the lupine emerged from the shadows into the streetlamps light. Convenient things these were...they were not lamps in any sense he had known...but they gave off significant light, and it appeared no one had to tend them. Another tid-bit he would want to learn about when he had the time.

He turned slowly as the being approached, he smirked at her words, though gutteral and growl-like, held the inflection of the girl he had most recently conversed with. Very interesting Specimin indeed.

It was quite clear she was after him..though it did not make sense at the moment...he could make out the blood stains on her teeth...she had already fed.::

"I was in no hurry to escape if that is what you meant. Perhaps I was not clear enough...I do not fear you as most would."

::Here the trickey part began...he had been waiting, ever since he had felt and heard her coming, drawing as much enerygy from his surroundings as possible, and now he was still slightly focusing on that, but also weaving his energy around her. He presumed from his earlier encounter that she could feel the poer, and so he would have to guise it to fulfill his purposes. He was actually preparing to telekinetically trap her...but also he began to tweak time to cover up his preparations. He was not at all sure if she would be capable of breaking a barrier of time...only ne way to find out. It was a simple ploy...freeze time...walk to her side. She would simply see him dissapear and re-appear elsewhere. Then after a few words, he would do so again and end up behind her...Speak again, buit then thinking ahead, he figured she would assume where he would go next would be her other side..as that was the pattern he was following to that point...so instead, expecting her to expect him to go there...he would instead end early and just end up back in front...this would hopefully distract her from the energy around her and give him better insight into her capabilities and the like.::

::The energy coarsed around them and he began put his litte plan to motion.::

"You are a very interesting person...Lupine...."

The lupine chuckled softly as she stepped to the side again, perking her ears and glancing around. The problems with beastial creatures was that they rarely remained still for long and on multiple occasions she leapt onto the benches or up a streetlamp to acquire a better view of her surroundings...

Nevertheless, as he blinked from side to side the girl within the mind of the beast couldn't help but grow suspicious and so...she kept moving, perhaps he would end up in the wrong place at some points but nevertheless she would have to discover the cause of his peculiar movements.

"Indeed I am." She replied at last, perking her ears a little more as she turned her gaze towards the tree just opposite the streetlamp however her focus was on her target for the most part, "But there is something more to your words, are you finally making your move? Should I prepare to attack you now?" she purred and turned her gaze back towards him with a ferral smirk.

Eilla first sat next to him, but suddenly began to feel that pull again, much stronger. Instantly, her eyes widened, as her eyes caught sight of Kyo. There was no doubt in her mind that the pull was coming from her. "Do you sense it?" she asked of Charles.

It takes a few moments before he comes out of his concerned thoughts. Still overriding this mind is the internal debate of how wise this might be to invite Ellia to his home. Then, at her prompting, he pays attention to something other than his concerns. Yes . . . that pull . . . it is leading to one of the men that are on that bench.

Looking to Ellia cautiously, Charles tries to subtly monitor her reactions. To him, she was violent and enraged. She also knew he was a sorcerer of sorts. Just how much does she know? "Yeah, I do. What do you make of it? Feels like they also have a sliver of Suzaku's power."

The door to Jun'ko's room slowly creaked open as her mother looked in on her slumbering daughter. Was it only the moonlight pouring through the window? Or was her daughter glowing? She shook her head, it must be only her imagination. Smiling, the mother closed the door and walked downstairs.

Jun'ko sat straight up in bed and looked out the window. Dawn was only barely breaking, causing just a sliver of golden light to hit the roofs of the houses before her. She felt cold all over, and her thigh where the wacked out glowing tattoo-thingy appeared was stinging. Jun'ko sighed and fell back onto her pillows.

Eilla wanted to yel at the drunk b*****d. But she had no right to do so, and if she did, all hope of understanding this world would dissappear. "He's intoxicated," she finally stated, rather bluntly.

Charles was about to ask a snide question 'which one?' but realizes the point would be moot. Both seem to have had more than their share. What is odd is that despite the heavy pull of Suzaku, neither of them seem to be reacting to Charles and Ellia. Are they too drunk?

"Yeah . . . the question becomes, are we just mistaken and are feeling something else? Neither of them strike me as Seishi."

Kyo kept his eyes on the ground, not daring to look up at the strangers sitting nearby. His hands clenched and unclenched in a continous motion of anxiety, and one of his feet kept tapping a slow, rhythmic dirge on the cold cement. Maybe it was just his imagination, or maybe it was all that tequila, but... God, there was something familiar about the guy. Not the girl, so much - she just made him nervous more than anything - but that guy...

'Do I know you?' he almost said, but had somehow managed to retain enough of his inhibitions to hold the question back. No sense in looking like a complete idiot, since he was already pretty close to that stage. No, it'd be better to just sit here, studying his shoelaces - which, at this point, were pretty damn interesting. A bed would be a lot better, though.

****

Takashi frowned. He could almost smell Kyo's anxiety, and even though he couldn't hear them he knew the people across the way were talking about them. Probably discussing how shameful their behavior was. He hoped they didn't recognize Kyo - sometimes being a two-time three-event state winner (not to mention the most heavily recruited runner in Japan) had its downfalls, he thought with a sigh.

The young man chuckled and attempted to make conversation. At least this way they'd know that they both weren't completely smashed.

"So, uh, you folks from the city?" he asked lamely.

(((Apologies Ms. Junkie (Heh heh...thats humorous to me...)...but we seem to have a slight discrepancy on the issue of time, it seems your pushing forward while the rest of us are still a bit back (As the others have caught up to Korin and I {More or less anyway}). Mind you I understand your reasoning, as interaction has been limited with you after our first encounter...(In which your intent was to drive me away as I recall...) and to that end...we should work to get you back into the action, but we also need to get on a static level of time...as this could cause problems if we divide into two storylines essentially.

Any Ideas would be appreciated.)))

::Kigen was a bit dissapointed. He had hoped to have made a larger impression with even just the simple show of power...this could mean a number of things, and now was not the time, nor the place to contemplate them. The scene would have to play out, and he would have to find out from there. Knowing a little about wolves and thir kind, he reasoned that her vision would be significantly greater than his own, and his best bet would be to stay within the area of the light for now. This reasoned out, he ended his little "teleporting" as she would see it, leaning up against the streetlight pole. He watched her Move exceedingly agile and swift all around the place...and smiled at her words::

::Under his breath, more just to himself than anything else:: "Indeed you are..."

"I wouldn't say there is more to my words...I have been very straightforward with you to this point..."

"No...I don't think you should attack me now. What reason have I given you? Surely you could seek an easier prey if you were still hungry, as it is apparent that you have already fed. And really...what good can come of division of Seiryuu's power? With Suzaku so close...Surely you, being knowledgable about your own abilities, surely you have not also sensed Suzaku?"

::He said all this...knowing full well he had all but challenged her for her share of his power before...he was banking on her overlooking or putting that aside. In any case, he was still weaving his energy around her so that she would have to get a first move in that would debilate him completely to keep from his retalliation, if she even got to him. He wasn't sure how much she wieghed in this form, but even in the weakened state he was in, he was confident of the ability to slow if not stop her. He leaned against the pole with a demenour that said..I know things you do not, and this knowledge gives me power::

Looking over at the pair slovenly waiting for the train, Charles tries to guess if one of them really is a Seishi. Despite looking hard over their foms, no lighted marks of suzaku can be seen. "After a fashon. You from this area? The college perhaps?"
PostPosted: Thu Nov 04, 2004 11:11 am

Takashi chuckled at the stranger's question. "Nah, we're jus' a couple-a yokels from Osaka. I'm goin' t'college there, but my booze-happy friend here," he slapped Kyo across the back; he grunted but didn't move, "is college-shoppin'. Mos' everyone is goin' after him, so he's tryin' t'hit as many stops as he can, y'know, keep his options open. Though I wish he c'd jus' stay in Osaka, since..." he changed the subject; no sense in getting too personal with this complete stranger. "But, as y'can see, we kinda took a break t'night so we c'd see th' fun side-a Tokyo."

"Some fun..." Kyo grumbled. "My stomach's startin' t'churn agin, Uremi..."

"Well hold it in 'till the subway comes! Stupid boozin' virgin..." Takashi flashed the new boy another smile. "Name's Uremi Takashi, by th' way. The idiot next t'me is Kyouseiki Yuumai-"

"I hate that..."

"I know, I know." Then, to the strangers: "He hates his name. Everyone calls him Kyo," he explained. "And who're you folks? Any reason yer out at an unholy hour like this?"

Eilla listened, watching them observantly. She hadn't wished to respond, having nothing to say. Yet, as she was finally adressed, in a sense, she bluntly said "Eilla Seraphim," her voice nearly too quite to hear. There was no doubt in her own mind as to whether one of them was a seishi. Yet, she wasn't quite sure if Charles was as sure.

Having grabbed a cup of coffee, Ryu strolled the city, taking in the sites and sounds as he headed in the direction of Seiryuu's power. He pushed down his ki as far as he could, habitually playing with his necklace. It was a thin, silver chain with a clam shell attached. He never took it off, even for photoshoots, and usually kept it tucked within his shirt.

He took a sip as he neared a light pole, where stood two figures, seemingly in a tense situation. He remained in the shadows, a quiet observer for the moment.

::Kigen was so focused on the lupine ceature in front of him, that even had our watcher not been maskin his power, he wouldnt even have noticed the approach. He himself was emminating his significantly, focused on the wolf-like one that was squaring off with him. He wanted to be read, especially if diplamcy fell apart. He had never had to resort to diplomacy back home...he was the power and he weilded it well. he didn't like to have to humble himself in this way, but also knew the neccessity of it. He leaned against the pole, a calm and cool demenour, eyes fixated, waiting::

sweatdrop yeah- sorry 'bout that. ill try to slow back down to you guys.
"That's it!" Jun'ko cried, throwing her pillow across the room. I can't stand this! I am not gonna sleep through this s**t! I love the nightlife- Why should I waste what's left of it in bed moping?" She asked her teddybear. Why am I talking to an inanimate object? She thought.
Stuffing her feet into a pair of particularly grungy boots in her closet from her 'goth' period. She pulled the matching shirt, pants, and jacket out from the back of the closet, slipping them on and feeling almost guilty about it. She put on the black lipstick, eyeliner and eyeshadow she had under all the springy colors her mom loved to see her wear.
Jun'ko was hoping that no one would notice or recognize her. Finally, she slipped insome black leather gloves and was out of the house before anyone noticed a thing and slipped away to where her gut was pulling her- away from the dawning sun and back towards the dark of the night.

::Kigen didn't realize it, but the appearence of this new person which he had not yet noticed, and the proximity of both the lupine and the one that he had recently encountered before allowed him to draw upon energies ignificanly more like back in hios own world. With more of the power of Seiryuu gathered, he was better able to focus his own. He edin't have time to reeason any of this out, as at any moment he might be jumped by the wolfin creature bounding about. He had to be ready...and having manipuleted his energies...he felt ready..the ball was in her court::
