i agree completly ... we will keep in touch with Malek and his friend to keep up to date as to what he is doing ... our friend i believe will make quite a lot of progress with her if he remains determined to help her as he is ... * his face full of thought* however ... i would like to meet this girl ... but i believe that they need thier space for now ...
* Malek returns to his room gathers his things then heads out to the exit. he opens his wings and leaves back for home once again.*

"Agreed" Seraphina replied with a curt nod, glancing back at the space that Malek had just disappeared into. "She is lucky to have found him" she continued, somewhat wishfully, although she was glad for both Malek and the girl. "I think we should perhaps look through the records" she stated, turning back to Teil, "to see if there is any other records of such cases". Although she couldn't remembering hearing of any herself, it was possible that the council had hushed up such an occurance.

*Teil nods* agreed ... its hard to say what has been hidden by them ... we may find some cases of half celestials or more half demons. * he smiles and walks towards the files. picking up a box he starts to go through it.*

Seraphina merely lingered where she was, not one for sorting through mountians of paper work despite her urge to know what the council had hidden from them. Moving to a chair on the opposite side of the table, she swung her legs over the side, examining her staff as she waited to see if Teil would find anything.

* he pulls out a file and flips through it quickly. he stops on a page and reads it over and with a surpised look on his face. he looks over to her.*
well according to this there are about 40 cases of half celestials and over 70 cases of half demons... and there are about 3 different cases of breeds like Malek ...

Seraphina shook her head. "I never would have imagined there were so many cases" she replied forcibly, her anger returning. She shook her head, trying to disapate the anger within her. "Any mention of cases such as the girls?" she asked, her eyes returned to her staff, her thumb idly looping around on of the gems in it.

Seraphina nodded as Teil spoke. "I expected as much" she replied dryly, never having suspected that something such as this were possible. "I still don't know how this even happened" she replied, her eyes still upon the staff in her grip, "I mean why this girl, in all other cases the genes seemed to have blended together, but not this one". She knew little of science, although even with her limited knowledge she would have assumed that such a thing could not happen.

* Teil thinks for a moment* its like a chimera effect... more then once set of dna inhabiting a body however none has dominance ... its extreamly rare ... almost unheard of ... so she may have a form of this.

Seraphina's eyes widened as she listened to Teil. "How do you know of such a thing?" she asked, clearly surprised that he had known something that seemed to obsure. Lowering her legs from the arm of the chair, she turned in to face Teil, her interested clearly engaged.

its a biological mystery ... very difficult to explain ... from what i know it happens when more then one egg is fertilized ... if one of the eggs die off the other has an extreamly slim chance to absorbe the other into itself, giving to two sets of dna ...

Seraphina listened in stunned silence. "So originally they were two seperate people?" she asked, trying to understand what he was speaking of. It all sounded like a myth to her ears, although to the ears of humans her and her kin were myths as well. "Where did you learn all this?" she asked, a new respect for her friend beginning to develop.

human science is a marvelious thing if you take the time to weed out the nonsence * he grins* they are coming along way in thier research and such. but yes .. that is the best way i can imagine what has happend to her ... she was originally two seperate people.

"Do you think either of them knows that they were originally seperate?" Seraphina asked, her eyes fixed upon Teil. She would really have to look into human science, dispite the pain she often felt when it came to things that were distinctly human.

that i wouldnt have the slightest clue ... its hard to say really ... not from how much Malek told us ...b ut i would have to say most likly not... * he thinks for a moment* the demon half may know somethign... but i'm not sure ...
