Hoelun detached from the railing. "I'm going to get something." She walked across the deck, her eyes on the ground, thoughts on the exciting journey ahead. Her! A-- Guardian!The Guado turned around a corner without looking first and slammed into someone. "Ack! I'm sorry!" she stammered, not yet realizing who she'd bumped into. She regained her balance and looked at Elizabeth with an embarassed expression. (OOC: Hope that's okay. =P Here's a picture.)

Lirian watched her go before leaning to look into the water again, it seemed to speed past, leaving him in place without a direction to go.

The Guado turned around a corner without looking first and slammed into someone. "Ack! I'm sorry!" she stammered, not yet realizing who she'd bumped into. She regained her balance and looked at Elizabeth with an embarassed expression. (OOC: Hope that's okay. =P Here's a picture.) Elizabeth was thrown back half a step due to the bump. "Don't wo.... I know you." Elizabeth looked at Hoelun with a frown, as her mind raced to match a name to the face. "Your name started with Hoe.... how was it?" =^_^=

Hoelun stared at Elizabeth in shock. "Hoelun," she murmured. "I can't believe this. I thought..." She smiled behind a long sleeve. "I thought I was the only Guado who left."
She tilted her head to the side; a few stray beads clicked. "I'm sorry. I can't remember your name. My family was rather... well, you know. I didn't get to talk to..." The lower class?
Hopefully Elizabeth knew what Hoelun was trying to say, because there just wasn't a nice way of calling someone a commoner. Even if Elizabeth's parents were teachers, Hoelun's family was held in high regard due to their proximity to the Maester.

Elizabeth's features seemed to darken somehow. "Yeah, you don't have to excuse yourself. May name's Elizabeth." Her smiled reappeared slowly, as she continued. "But now that we've met here, remaining together until we go back would be rather auspicious."

Hoelun nodded, grateful for Elizabeth's grace. "It's a pleasure to meet you again, Elizabeth. I'm traveling with a summoner called Dars. Maybe you could swear to guard him?" She smiled brilliantly. "We will need all of the help we can get, and even though Lirian's a cutie, I feel like I'm going to be misunderstood sooner or later."

The samurai leaned against the railing, pretending to watch the water go past. He was actually glareing over his shoulder at Elizabeth, who seemed to have literlly bumped into Hoelun.
