Birgit nodded and looked at a tree before raising her hands towards it. A portal again appeared there big enough for all of them to go through. "Go through first. Birgit will make sure it don't close too soon. Go straight and ya find the safe place." There was a ruslte far away but it was coming closer. "They come. Go now!" Birgit looked at Kahlan to lead the way.

((sorry, this post is kinda short, but i don't know where Birgit's portal is taking us! xp ))
Kahlan stepped into the portal, and soon after, everyone else did the same. Konrad, Casron, Zanzar, Kahlan, and Birgit stood alone, in their new safe haven, eyes wide in awe.
Where are we?

"Place Birgit found when she was little. Comes here only when wanting to escape the world." Birgit said as she lead them further into the rosey skyed place they were in. The grass seemed greener then normal and there was a gentle breeze. Birgit smiled slightly and closed her eyes. "It is good...safe place that connects places. We can go anywhere ya want from here."
She turned a looked at the group withher hair tugged by the wind giving her an almost surreal look with the red tinted sky behind her. It made her look...lonely.

Kahlan thought for a moment. She couldn't head north, that's where the bandits were. And she couldn't go south or east either because of the D'haran troops. That left only one place...Tanimura.
Birgit...you're from Tanimura, right? I was thinking that maybe we could go there. Every where else is being occupied by D'haran troops. They all want this stupid rune! But I don't see what they want with it! I got to admit though, it does help sometimes. What do you say Birgit? Care to go visit your people?

Birgit thought for a moment before nodding. "Birgit not been home in long time. It would be nice to see Father n mother again." She didn't know what would be in store for them there but it was better then no where. As she moved to make another portal appear they could see a streak of grey in her hair that wasn't there before.
In Birgit's mind she knew that she was going to over do it with her magic but it was needed to help her new firends. ~Just one more portal for today...just one more...~
The brown, red, purple vortex appeared before them and Birgit nodded for them to go through as before. "It leads to a cave that Birgit stayed in when she was little. It is safe."

((the cave is in Tanimura. She wants to go there just to make sure that something bad happens...like they pop into town and its overrun by solders as well razz ))

Rune: Stealth Rune (Allows her or those she wishes it upon to go completely unnoticed for a time, but she can only use it once a week or so, depending on how much she lets it charge up)
Nation: Unknown, though currently in Tanimura
Bio: Having been born in the streets she had grown accustomed to havng to steal to survive. One day her keen eyes fell upon a rune hidden deep within the shadows, that would have gone untouched fro a lond time had she not seen it in the alleys. Now on Tanimura, she has ben slinking through the shadows there for a few years. She stands nearly 7 feet tall, and is still growing, like any young woman would be. With raven hair falling down to her waist and red eyes, she has often been seen as a towering monster, whom has possesive problems.
I hope this is okay? And if it is, I'll post my first RP post as soon as I can?))

Kahlan had to admit, Birgit was pretty smart. She knew that if she had warped them to Tanimura and they appeared in a village, it could quite possibly start an unwanted commotion. As Kahlan and the others stepped through the portal once again, they exited on the other side, ending up in the cave Birgit was talking about. It was a quiet little place, and dark too, but Kahlan thought it better than ending up in some D'haran troop camp. She turned back to Birgit, and noticing that she was quite good-looking for a savage from Tanimura, seeing that they never took the time to groom themselves.
Okay, Birgit...lead the way...

Ria slunk through the shadows, stealithly-she had long since learned not to waste the power of her rune-and soon saw a food merchant's stand. She went up and pointed to the food, with an almost childlike look on her face. Thoguh peopel could consider her a towering theiving monster, their opinions sometimes changed-atleast on ther monster half-when they heard her speak, or even got to clsoe to her. A finger in her mouth like a small child, she pointed at the food once more. This merchant knew her alittle better though and told her that she had to pay. "But I bin told dat Ria no got money, and the hungry!" Ria protested frowning. Upon being shooed a second time she left, swiping a piece of fruit without notice on her way.

Away she lead them out of the cave and onto a vast plain of grass and flowers. Birgit smiled for a moment remembering how she would play in this feild and that it was this very cave that she had found her rune. She shook it off then and they traveled further through the tall grass that reached their knees. At the top of a hill they looked downwards and spyed a small port town busling with activity. "That be Birgit's hometown. It too small to catch Lord Rahl's attentions yet."
She was more then a little happy to see the little village safe and sound. She didn't know if anyone would remember her or recognize her but it would be good to see others again. Dispite the fatgue she was fighting off from using her rune extensively her pace quickened a bit as they drew closer to the edge of town.

Ria bite into the fruit happily, however her hunger was not satisfied. Wandering around she soon finished it, and carelessy tossed it to the side. Soon she saw some people she had never seen before coming down the hill. Grinning she said to herself, "I bin told dat Ria might b'able get food fom 'em." And sprinted off silently in their direction.

As they got to town Birgit looked around. Surprisingly not much had changed from when she was little. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a girl sprinting their way. She squinted trying to recognize her but failed. She shook her head and put her hand to her rune. ~Need to get to a place to rest...~ Her eyes spotted the inn that held many memories. She started in that direction while at the same time watching the girl approching them.

Ria ran up to Birgit, KAhlan, and the others, with an innocent look on her face. A finger was in her mouth, and the thoguht that a seven foot tall girl asking them for food might seem rude never once crossed her mind, "I bin told dat travelers 'ight 'ave food for Ria?"

Kahlan smiled. She didn't see this innocent little girl as a monster, she was just different. Kahlan reached to the small pouch she carried on her belt, retrieving several copper pieces. She handed them to the rather large girl.
Here you are sweetie...it's as much as I can afford...go get yourself some food...
