Malek was right when he had said that she wouldn't understand. A face contorted into a confused expression as she listened to his words. Never had she suspected that when her daughter had been born that such a thing would occur, she had assumed that the human and demon DNA would simply mix together. Although she had many question about what exactly the demon had meant, she assumed that it would be best to wait and see for herself.
Turning her head slightly to regard her wings, she shook her head slightly. "I doubt I will be going anywhere anytime soon" she continued, wondering if he had noticed the damage that had been inflicted to her wings. With her attention now back upon him, she gave him a consenting nod, allowing him to proceed with what she believed would be a fruitless venture.

" i noticed ... i'll bring you myself ... " he moved in closer in order to bandage her wounds. he cleaned them gently and made sure that they were wraped tight so as not to come lose easily. " thats if you dont mind me bringing you that is ... it would be quite a long walk. but about a half hour flight at the most. " although he was certain that she would argue with him he had to offer. however he was certain that she would do what was best. being strong willed yet intellegent proved that she was easy to bring up the best points as to how to go about things.

Gritting her teeth against the pain, Zuleika fought the urge to tear his hand away from her wounds. Her violet eye turned to him to Malek, a look of disgust upon her face. Although she knew there was little choice but to accept his offer, she would rather have made her own way there in attempts to preserve what little dignity she had left. "There seems to be little choice but to accept you offer" she replied, a note of annoyance in her tone, "but be aware that I am not happy about it".

he snickered as he finished tending to her wounds. " yeah i figured you wouldnt be ... Astraea's personality is alot like yours ... only she tends to be more violent." he smiles and helps her to her feet. " do you have anything in which you would like to bring with us? i can carry quite a bit while in flight so long as its packed up nicely." he wondered if she did bring anything with her other then just her weapons.

Zuleika gently shook her head, not wanting to make to many vigorious moves incase she managed to uncover an as of yet unknown wound. With her relativly un-injured arm she reached for the weapons she had placed on the barrel beside her. "I didn't have many possessions" she told him, fumbling slightly as she sheathed her daggers, "and what little I did I was forced to abandon when I was attacked". Casting a final glance about the mine chamber, a small flicker of relief at leaving the place flared within her.

" well then perhaps i can get them for you at a later time ... if they are still in the den that is ... " he sighs then smiles. Malek motions towards the exit and slowly begins to walk towards it. looking around a bit waiting for her so that he would be able to keep an eye on her incase she stumbles or something of the like.

Zuleika didn't reply, knowing that the demons who had injured her had probably disposed of them by now. Noticing Malek's motion toward the mines entrance and begin to make his way toward it she began to follow suit. Her movements were slow, sending red-hot shots of pain through her body. Fighting against the pain she continued to make her way after him. "I'm Zuleika" she said after they had walked someone, hoping that he would understand just how much of a risk she had felt she had taken by revealing her name.

turning to her for a moment. he smiled " its a pleasure" he bows lightly showing respect to her. he had already knew who she was, but the fact that she introduced her self without him asking showed that she was begining to trust him. it was a great risk in revieling herself, considering she was possibly being hunted by the demons. that and himself being half celestial he could be an assassin for both sides. walking over to her he helped her by leting her lean on him so that she could walk better without so much presure on her wounds.

Zuleika inclined her head in response to Malek's bow, gratefully accepting his assistance to aid her in her movements. "How did you meet Eloise?" she asked as she continued to half stumble half walk her way through the mine. She wouldn't have believed that Merritt would have allowed a hybrid near Eloise and allowed her anywhere were she might meet one. "I find it hard to believe that Merritt allowed her to stay with you" she added, having no idea of the like that Eloise had lead.

with a shocked look on his face and it also showing in his voice " she was in a mental institution for years ... Merritt admitted her there" he was surprised that she didnt know. " i ment her other half first ... she attempted to attack me and i calmed her down and she became Eliose again. gave her an apparment and took care of her for a few weeks now ... " he though for a moment. " however this was just after she escaped from the institution ... "

"He did what?" she asked, her violet eyes suddenly full of fire. "He promised that he would take care of her, no matter what happened" she continued, the hurt and betrayl she felt entering into her tone. Although it had been nearly two decades since she had seen Merritt or Eloise, she still held great feelings toward Merritt. "How could he do something like that?" she continued, her voice turning into more of a growl, "after all that I had to give up to ensure they were safe". Since she had been forced to return to the demons, she had had no contact with Merritt or Eloise in order to ensure they were safe.

" i cant give you the answers you are looking for ... i can only hope that he had his reasons for doing such things ... i plan on finding him as well ... but it was easier to find you then him considering we know nothing of him. she was quite young when she was admited so she doesnt remember much. " he sighs then smiles when he sees the exit to the mine. carfully helping her out of the exit he streatches a bit and breaths in the fresh night air.
streatching out his large half demon half celestial wings he looks to her to see if it was alright to pick her up. he didnt want to just pick her up as it would be disrespectful. so he kneeled down and moved his arms in such a way so that she could pretty much just lower herself onto him and be picked right up with little effort to either of them.

Zuleika shook her head, she couldn't believe that the man who had fathered her child could so easily abandon her. "She shouldn't have to remember anything about such places" the demoness fired back at Malek, as she cast a dirty look at his waiting arms. It would have been obvious to the most untrained observer that she was clearly not happy to have to travel by such means. With an angered sigh she lowered herself slowly into his arms, casting him a warning look. "This is never mentioned again" she told him forcibly, "understood"

with an odd look he responded " why would i mention this. obviously your not happy about it, and i would have absolutly nothing to gain by telling anyone." he stands up streatches his wings and jumps into the air. " i'm not the type to hold something so trivial over someones head so dont worry about it. when we get to the appartments i'll land on the roof so no one will see me carrying you ok?" he smiled and looked down at the city they were flying over.

New Section of RP
The equipment had long ago rusted and dissolved into disuse, a tinny squeal issued to the wind replacing the delighted laughter of the children that had once flocked to this place. Un-mowed grass had grown thick and tall, brushing against Zuleika’s legs as she moved, the overhanging trees threatening to scratch her already marred skin. Too consumed within the frantic flurry of her thoughts, the demoness paid little heed to the meagre menace of the foliage, moving at a steady pace toward the stirred swing.
This had been her place once, although that had been centuries ago; long before metal was used in such fashions and during a time when children still amused themselves. It had been hidden then too, much like it was now, and had been a silent witness to much happier and content times within the life of the demoness.
Wincing as her still fragile wings brushed against the swing’s chain, Zuleika curled her lithe form into the unyielding metallic seat. She had come here seeking solace, a chance at reprieve from the endless myriad of thoughts that plagued her mind, and had yet to receive such a blessing. Will it always be like this?, her mind questioned, a pensive expression passing over her features. Will I forever be consumed with worry and fear when parted from her? Is this what I missed? Are all mothers fated to live silently with such dark feelings roiling within them?. A trembling sigh passed her dark ruby lips, pallid appendages idly fingering the rusted chain. “Get a hold of yourself Zuleika” the demoness spoke to the darkness, her voice sounding hollow and drained. “Think with your head, not your heart”
