icanliveonbread Sage of Chaos Blaze01 ya, keeping track of the characters in The Regulators is like homework xp and, collie . . . . . well, I won't give anything away sad Already passed that part, and I nearly threw the book against the wall. I'm about to do that anyways: I really hate all of the extra journal entries and letters thrown into it. I just want to read the story! the journal entries were my favourite part of that book! that and: tak's time, tak's place. and seth's time, seth's place. seriously? I HATED the journal entries!

Sage of Chaos I can't see how you guys can read more than one book at a time, especially since his stories tend to have so many characters to keep tabs on (except for ones like Gerald's Game or The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon... xp ). I'm only reading The Regulators right now, and it's still hell just to follow them all around. I'm totally loving Collie in this book, too bad he was a bit meaner in Desperation wink I just dnt see why you would read two books at once. instead of reading them at the same time, making them both span the legnth of two books, why not just read one, then the other???

Because multitasking is good for you! I read more than one book at a time, like I was reading Red Dragon during Wizard and Glass.

I was reading a thread on people's favourite King stories and one person mentioned a short story that I hadn't heard of. Its about a photographer taking photographs that feature a black dog appearing closer and closer to the foreground.
Does anyone know if this is a King story and what the title is?

That would be The Sun Dog. It can be found in Four Past Midnight, where also Secret Window, Secret Garden, Langoliers, and The Library Policeman are in.

I'm reading the first one of the Dark Tower series, but I'm not really enjoying it, I''m almost thinking of quitting it. But since every one says it's sooo good, I'm probably gonna read till the end. plus, in the begining of the book King writes that he thinks the first 3 books or somth from that series came out bad or w/e, so I'll probably give it a chance till the 4th book.

You can't stop reading the series!!!!!! Or you could, everyone has different opinions.

Oh I was engrossed in his books this summer. It became almsot an obsession where if there was a book I hadn't read I'd buy the paperback without a second thought. I am more discriminating now but am still glad I bought them. My all-time favorite books are The Dark Half and Rose Madder.

Same with me. sweatdrop I quit it a while ago because I just couldn't make it past half-way of the second book. I feel awful but I just loathe the main character so much!

I started reading Dreamcatcher yesterday. A little confusing but so far good. I've only seen the last 10-20 minutes of the movie, so I don't think that will ruin the book for me cause I didn't even really know what was going on.
