RANT TIME? Rant time. I've got a few things I'm tired of thinking quietly, so prepare for a bit of a long post. o.o;;
You know... my boyfriend irritates the hell out of me sometimes. I love him to death, I really do--I wouldn't have stayed with him these three years if I didn't. But he's got this idea that he.. is lower than me or something. I graduated from high school-he dropped out. He says I'm beautiful-he says he's ugly. He says I have all the possibilities in the world-he says he's doomed. Meh...
I think part of it has to do with him moving over to his dad's place (Oak ridge, a city over from where I live.) His dad doesn't give a care about what his son eats. Tim's eating nothing but take out and drinking absolutely nothing but coke. He's gaining weight. Fast. He's twice the size he was before he moved over there. He says he's working out because he wants to be more attractive--but he's too damn lazy for that. He's so. freaking. lazy. He's been out of school for what.. 5 months? He hasn't even gotten his GED!!

Ahem.
Piano, I think that the only thing you can really do is, when you're out with him, maybe help him by taking him to healthy eating places, or maybe invite him around to your place for dinner sometime...that way he can get a slightly better diet. Also, maybe playfully take away his cola or his foopd and tell him about what it does to his body, but don't approach it straight on; guys can be surprisingly sensitive about that kind of thing... sweatdrop
As for him thinking he's ugly and you're gorgeous, well, we all know you are XP so why don't you try passing him a few compliments, or telling him that he looks really good?
I know that I'm crap at that kind of advice but those are just some short term ideas...hope everything turns out ok.

I'm sure everything will be fine. :3 But I've tried telling him a million times that he's not ugly. Then, when I don't say anything to his remarks about him being ugly, he says, "SEE? You didn't disagree with me." Boyfriends... pah. I only get to see him once a week. There's not a whole lot I can do to help my moochmooch. He hates his pet name.

pianochord I'm sure everything will be fine. :3 But I've tried telling him a million times that he's not ugly. Then, when I don't say anything to his remarks about him being ugly, he says, "SEE? You didn't disagree with me." Boyfriends... pah. I only get to see him once a week. There's not a whole lot I can do to help my moochmooch. He hates his pet name. It seems like he's only doing it for attention, if that's the way he reacts when you don't say anything. D:

I told Scott that I like him and he already knew. He told me he never wants to date anyone. We are still friends though. We hang out like every day.
Sadly he's gone for the week and I miss him.
We still have those moments. We had a few yesterday. We were looking for pants for him and I was helping him put on a coat and he turned around and we just stared into each other eyes. It was so nice and we both just smiled

DX jam and i have the same problem. after we fight (which is alot these days) we never talk it over and just end up, ah, 'physical talking'. DX i think you just need to get him into a casual situation, like watching tv on the sofa, and talking to him quite normally but mix in what you wanna get out, too. don't interrogate him or demand that you talk about it, because he may be off put by that. just be causal and friendly and open and you'll be able to to talk to him, i'm sure. either that or say 'I AM TOO PRETTY FOR YOU'. surprised
