Setting the sandwiches on plates, Iris set them down on the table after judging that it had been roughly thirty minutes. Going to the librarby, she entered and said, "Okay guys, time out's over. Time for snack. It's already set up for you on the table. After snack, you'll both have an hour nap, and then some quite play time afterwards."

Tobi made to get up but Kiress was not moving, he was not going to play along, no he'd had enough of humiliation today. If only he could sprite himself away, far away. He scrubbed roughly at his eye, tears would not solve anything, and plus they'd burn at his skin, it was still very sensitive.
Tobi walked over and offered a hand up thinking Kiress needed an invitation, but when Kiress made no move to accept or decline, let alone look he rose a brow, he squatted down, "Hey.. we can get up now..."
Kiress contined to stare at the flame, and that was all he did, just stare.
"Uh... Iris?" Tobi called over his shoulder.

Iris was already walking over towards Kiress and took the fire sprite into her arms, hugging him gently. Letting his head rest against her shoulder, the aeromaster gently rocked Kiress back and forth as if he was a small child.
"It's not fun, is it? Having someone tell you what you're going to do all the time, what and when to eat, how to dress, how to act, what to do. Do you know why I did what I did? Because that's how you and Tobi were treating me; neither or you were letting me make any descision for myself, and you thought that you were right because you had my best interests at heart."
Iris held Kiress closer, being mindful of his sensitive skin. "Kiress, you are my brother and I love you for all that you've done for me, but you have to realize that I'm not going to let you do to me what the monsters who raised me did to me for 10 years until they abandonded me. I can make my own decisions, and I can make my own mistakes. I know you'll want to look out for me, but you can't live my life for me. Can you please understand that?"

"Some forms of humiliation are worse than others.." he muttered not really relaxing or tensing up, but finally he pulled away and held up three fingers, "I've always had three strikes against me, lost ground you might say, one I'm genderless, above and below people detest the very sight of me becuause I'm 'Not natural,' a 'freak,' a 'misborn'; two, I'm a pyro master, above people killed my father, ran me and my mother our of twown afriad that we would curupt their already curupted society, and three, I leave my heart out to be trampled because I am naturally welcoming. I'll admit I jumped to conclusions back there, I'll admit I was wrong to try and force you to do thing becuase -I- thought they were right, but I'll be damned if I sit here listen to more of that monotonous drabble about me being a 'freak' and 'misborn.' If I had known I was about to walk into verbal abuse I would have stayed someplace were I would not have to worry about dweleving in to another depressed state becuase of some idiot's words."
The stood finally pulling away from Iris completely, "When you can convince him that I am not a freak, I will return, but untill that time, I am no longer willing see him."
Tobi blinked, and watched with some regret as Kiress walked from room, and out the door; and as the door was clousing you could see a flurry of white as Kiress took to running.

"I hope you're happy, Tobi." Iris said slowly, trying to bite back tears of anger and sadness. Without another word, Iris ran after Kiress, her only mission now being to try and help her brother.

Tobi turned to follow but a twinge up his leg, called him to a stop, he winced and had to grab hold of the door fram to keep from falling over, "Damn..."

Tobi'd finally found something to help support his eight and he took off after the two.

Kiress with Iris held tight to his chest, and Tobi all entered the house, Kiress laid her on the nearest flat surface, which happened to be the couch.
"Do you know of a ointment for bruises?"
Tobi blinked, "No-o.. but I have books on the sub-subject."
"Then get them and begin to prepare them, I'm going to clean the blood and might we burrow some more of your clothing? These migth need to be trashed if the blood cannot come out."
Tobi nodded and after a minute of serched he found the book he needed and hobbled off the the kitchen.
Kiress ran his fingers over Iris' forhead, "Iris, dearheart, I need you tell me where it all hurts okay? We're going to go to the bath room, clean off all this blood and wash your body of the grim and help relax those musles of yours, Okay?" His voice was soft as a feather, drastically different from the harsh tone he'd used with Hermes. His face was sympathedic with real worry behind those ruby-citrine eyes.

"You're both so different from the others..." Iris muttered, almost as if to herself. "They would've left me to fend for myself after a beating...but you two stayed and want to help me...."
A spectacular bruise was spreding up her neck while another was slowly growing over her forehead. "It hurts lots of place..."

"Not so different as you would tend to think," he kissed her forhead gently, merely a bursh of lips over her skin, "Come sweetling."
He slipped her back into his arms and carried her back to the bathroom and began to run warm water, serching tobi's cabneits he found a soothant to add to the water.

Tobi worked over his stove following the directions to a T, when he finished he had a pot of warm oatmeal stextrued substance to spred over her brusied body. He took the paste back to Kiress and Iris settling the container out of the way and went to fetch her some loose clothes.

Iris continued to remain limp as Kiress brought her over to the bathroom. His kiss on her forehead brought a bit of pain from the bruise that was nearby, but she recognized that he meant it to show affection, not to cause pain.
Her clothes and the other clothes she had borrowed from Tobi were still on the side of the tub. Reaching out a hand, Iris tugged them off so they wouldn't get wet again, but made no other movement after that.

Tobi stood out side of the bath room, listening arms crossed over his chest. The clothes he'd picked out where folded on the chair by the sink.

"...no..." Iris said under her breath, still making no other movements. It was still a shock to ahve seen her brother after so much time...why was he down here? Where was everyone else? And he had said that mom and dad were no longer together...

Kiress nodded and slowly began to peel her clothes off her body, weary of the brusies; he didn't not want to hurt her. After he's stripped her of her ripped and bloodied clothes he lowered her into the tub and added the frarence into the tub that help ease her mind. He pulled a clothe and began to carefully clean the blood from her face, all the while humming the same tune from the first time she's had a painful memory.

Tobi listened, knowing that song well, his own mother had sung it to him.. He rubbed his temples.. things were getting weirder by the minute.

The cloth on her face was gentle, and the tune was soothing. A tear leaked from her eye as she saw all the bruises that covered her. "It's not his fault...but it still hurts..."
