Hey! Name's Alex. People usually refer to me as Mega. I'm eighteen years old, born on March second. I'm a Pisces, for those of you who are zodiac savvy. And an INFJ for Myers-Briggs enthusiasts.
I joined Genuine in hopes of meeting other artists. I also wanted to check out your individual talents.
My favorite type of arts are the Fine arts and Applied arts. The Visual arts appeal to me as well.
I'm still a bit shy when it comes to my skill level, but I have considered selling my art. I would consider myself a bit of an art collector, but I have no extensive collection as of yet.
I've been a member of Gaia since '07. I've had multiple accounts since then.
Other than making and collecting art, my other hobbies consist of enthusing music and gaming!

I used to be a part of / then owned an art guild a while ago (4+ years) and all the main members quit :'[ (myself included) so i just came back from a hiatus and was looking for find an active art guild! so here i am! - Feel free to call me blackrose! I'm 24 and enjoy art as a hobby (and means of earning gaia gold). - I honestly don't even know if I have a favorite type of art. I guess drawing and painting, either digital or traditional as opposed to photography or something else. - I create and sell art (art shop in sig) I wouldn't mind collecting art, but i am (hypocritically so) cheap about buying it (partially because im really picky) but i dont mind doing art trades! - My account has existed since 2004 but Ive taken a number of lengthy breaks

I'm Stephanie/w0t/wdf. I joined because I was looking for an art guild to join. I enjoy fine arts and I'm a fine arts major. I admire Baroque paintings and academic Russian drawings a lot.
I think I've been on Gaia since 2007? Off and on.

Tell us a little about yourself: Hi, i obviously go by j1nxd here cat_lol but if your looking for something closer to RL I can go by G, but that sounds a bit shady... cat_ninja I'm an on and off again art student. I've been to a few different schools and different majors before settling on 2D BFA.
Why did you join Genuine? To find other artists and/or or new ideas to try Overall, try to improve and to help others, if I can cat_sweatdrop
What is your favorite type of art? To do: photography and occasionally design stuff To stare at: Just about any media, because curiosity well... you know cat_xp
Do you create / sell / buy / collect art? Always buying, well... prints/posters when I can afford them. I can't really afford originals besides maybe from some of my friends lol Definitely collecting Creating...
Has come to a pause at the moment cat_sad I preferred traditional photography, but I don't have a lab and can't afford to get the DSLR I am aiming for quite yet either. Drawing kind of died after figure drawing class, even though I used to enjoy it growing up. Go figure took a class and lost interest emotion_donotwant
How long have you been a member of Gaia Online? Nov 2007, but with like a 4+ year hiatus that ended around the end of January
What other hobbies do you have? Traveling, music, music festivals, reading, making horrible jokes and/or puns, and some video games I also want to try to get back into trying learn music once things settle down a bit O! Tinkering with electronics, I can't forget that one cat_3nodding

Now that I have sausaged the reader c; -winkwink- You can call me Dass or Offie. I'm a 23year old penyless (after paying bills i'm pretty much down to 50cents and bottle of wine) dude with no real objectives in life. Pretty boring. I just know I need to learn and that is all I'm living for at the moment. I eat sketchbooks by day and drown in art tuts at night. Sometime i switch. If I can make something good out of this hunger for drawing, nice, if not... I'll die knowing I tried my best.
Why did you join Genuine? I posted in the forums I was looking for an artsy guild and an angel came to me and said: "You've been a really bad boy.... really bad boy. Join this guild!" So I did.
What is your favorite type of art? I'm all down for painting digitally.

Why did you join Genuine?
IDK , I saw a sig about the guild and I thought it would be nice to have a place to chat bout art and stuff ..May be I want to be more active in posts than only by drawing quietly .
What is your favorite type of art?
This is a weird question . first I'm obviously more attracted by graphic and visual arts . About different type of visual arts , I love many of art forms it's difficult to say which one is my favorite. And to do myself , illustration, inspired my mangas and european comics

What other hobbies do you have?
for some month now , I'm learning book binding ^^ I like creative stuff ( sewing , make jewelry , ...) but I dn't have very much time left now . My job is really nie and I like it! But it makes me really busy .

I'm 24, a university art student, casual gamer, and coffee addict. Right now I just work in freelance and I'm working on setting up a few streams of income while I look for a "real" job. I'm genderfluid and I like they/them pronouns, but I will not be offended if I'm referred to as he or she. c:
Why did you join Genuine? I joined Genuine because I wanted to meet other artists. When I saw this guild's advertisement, I had to come check it out.
What is your favorite type of art? I love most kinds of art that either but I favor aesthetics more than concepts. I really love rough looking art and impressionist art, sketches, and concept art are some of my favorites.
Do you create / sell / buy / collect art? I both create and sell art. I 'm partly selftaught and partly educated. I've spent the past five years or so being trained to use A LOT of different traditional media, and learning that most of them are messy, costly, clunky, or all of the above. So I've been teaching myself how to be a digital artist using the knowledge I have of traditional media. I made painting my focus a few years back, so that's what I specialize in now. Sadly I don't buy art very often, but I love to do trades, I'm just shy about asking.
How long have you been a member of Gaia Online? I've been on Gaia since 2005, but I moved to this 2008 account to get away from someone. I like to spend most of my time in guilds and lurking the Art Discussion board when I get some free time from school.
What other hobbies do you have? As for my other hobbies, I love to roleplay on Gaia and play DnD with my pals in RL, I play a pvp mmo called Age of Wushu, and when I get some time to myself I enjoy a good book, usually some fantasy adventure or something more spicy. I also like to cook. Sharing food and drink is one of my favorite ways to spend time with people.
