'... Certainly wouldn't want to annoy any of these men normally,' Jahev noted quietly. Trigger happy morons certainly wasn't what he needed. 'Then again, as long as their barrels and fingers aren't aimed at us...'

The room they were in was bare, in main part, besides dug-in trenches behind short stone walls. To the left was a bathroom with the door half-open, and the right held an open archway. It was to the latter that they were moving. As the armored man led on, he answered Vinan's half-formed question. "Feel that? Yeah, that's normal-ish. Don't pay attention to any whispers down this hall. Block 'em out."
The folk that had held weapons did not follow; evidently Fuast was a know quantity. The hall's dark seemed to press in on the group the further they went. Soon, they were without light, without direction or purpose, simply following the sound of heavy footsteps. Even those began to muffle and dim as they went. Perhaps minutes passed, perhaps hours. Perhaps even years were consumed in the darkness... The snap back to light was sudden. They found themselves in a great room, a raging bonfire in the center. If they looked back, the group could see that the hall was not so very deep. It wouldn't be hard to see the other end, even.

The second they stepped into the hall a hanf grabbed Fuast's shoulder. The man who grabbed it was fairly average looking. He had a crimson red shirt, with some bright neon green jacket covering it. His pants were a deep blue cloth, that seemed somewhat too big for him, as the feet-holes were about as big as the entire length of his feet, which were covered by boack shoes. The only thing that seemed odd about him was the pale-blue hood that hung over his face. His face was able to be seen under, yes, but he tried to draw attention from his eyes eyes, tucking them underneath the hood.
"Um.. Hello.. Oh.. Please, don't let me keep you from your destination. We can speak as we walk." He held his hand in the direction they seemed to have been heading, before, urging them to continue their course. Once they began walking again, he put his hands behind his back as he spoke. "My name is not important, and should not be spoken within the walls of Liireon. And so I will not speak it. Not here. But, given the band of people I'm speaking to, an assassin from the Nemesis, and ex-assassin from the same, a soldier--recruiter?--from the Flame, and a Child of the Ice, I hope you have an open mind about things.. People's origins, I mean.. Their views on the world.. I'm straying from topic. I saw you discard this paper." He pulled out the photo from before. "May I.. Ask where it came from?"
Nis immediately replied. "Tore it from a newspaper."
"Ah.. Uh-hm.. Okay. And are you all.. Curious of its origins? Not.. Not the paper, the thing in the photo."
Nis' eyes narrowed. "What do you know?"
Vinan looked at the picture again. "You.. Know what that thing is?"

'Please, tell him what is before he believes I have something to do with it again,' Jahev told the newcomer walking with them. 'It isn't very enjoyable having that conversation all over again...'

His helm turned, the better to give the sense that he was staring at the appendage that had touched him. This nameless man might feel a sense of unease, having done so. Curses weren't something to get close to lightly. "Unimportant names don't get avoided, neighbor. Might want to keep that in mind next you say that."
For his part, he found it unnecessary to speak much. They weren't meeting much resistance, and this gent was evidently involved in the Shadow. The first was probably good, and the latter probably bad. ...That was part of what made being a part of the Flame exciting, though. You never could tell what was going to happen next. "You're dancing around what you mean to say. Just say it and have done, man." Their destination appeared to be the bonfire itself.

"Fine." The stranger said. "Here." He handed Fuast a small circular slip of paper. It was a light blue, though a dark blue crescent adorned the left side. There was a sort of arrow that moved around the page, like a compass pointer. "Follow it. And you'll have your answer. But let me just say.. We aren't well liked by most Artruvians.. And if I catch you doing anything.. Judgement, and punishment, will be swift, and merciless. Be there before the moon fully.. And know that if you come, then you may be stepping into shoes too big to fill." He startedwalking away, then stopped. "Wear these." He tossed them some medals, that looked almost exactly like the paper, then kept walking.
"A moon.." Nis said examining a medal. "They're not to be trusted.. Not a bit.. But.." He took a deep breath.
"The Moon.." Vinan said, sorrowfully, taking a badge.

'Whilst they might not be trustworthy, they're the only people we seem to have right now to contact,' Jahev noted to the rest of the group. He placed the medal he received into a pocket somewhere where one would find a breast pocket for a suit, then turned to the others. 'How you proceed, I leave to you. However, if you opt not to go, I would like the page.'

The hulking male bent down, scraping a medal off of the floor. "...Anyone care to fill me in? I don't pay much attention to politics. Too busy bein' out in the wastes. Y'know, killin' undead and mages. Solvin' problems. Tryin' to get less cursed. Hobbies."
After a moment of concentrated thought, he shrugged, the motion scraping plates of armor around his shoulders. Fuast didn't particularly care, one way or another. It could all wait until they'd had some grub. "Fight the first punk who challenges you. Then grab somethin' off the spits around the Fire." He snagged a mug and a plate, filling both as he walked deeper into the loose crowd.

(oops.. Guess I never put the Cult in the Database) "The Moon Cult is a.. Well, cult, that worships what they call 'Moon Priests'. In reality they worship Shara's 9 Gatekeepers." Nis said. "They.. Do several unspeakable things." "They also saved my people, before, too." Vinan said. "But I know what they do.. I'm.. Not entirely sure what they'd have planned for us." Nis didn't grab any food, or plate, instead sighing. After hearing how much trouble it'd be he hesitantly reached out to grab a plate, but changed his mind.

Jahev didn't eat. He wasn't hungry - hadn't been for a while. Guess the entire thing had still numbed him - why had he stabbed the Master...? It was unforgivable, even more so because of the way he did it. Placing the blame upon him, Jahev. 'Well, as long as the unspeakable thing are both not spoken nor performed around or on us, then we should be fine. If they try anything, then we'll have to simply break their trust... and most likely, their necks.'

"...Right. I'm sure what they do is awful. There's a bigger issue just now." Fuast stood, his large frame towering over the eclectic mishmash of tables and beings. Having had about half of what was on his plate, he threw it to the ground, the metallic clang ringing out into the cavern. Certain he had the attention of near-everyone with the sharp sound, he began.
"Would someone like to explain how we just let a member of the Moon Cult prance in here, threaten one of us, and walk off: all unchallenged? That is some beautiful work, boys and girls! D'ya think you should get some candy for that, too?!" His voice rang out through the Great Hall, carrying silence behind it. There was a clear challenge there for any of the Flame. They didn't have many rules, but they were a proud group.
...Yeah, I'm getting my a** handed to me for that. Needed sayin', though.
