Some of the stuff I hear is the most important is building up your portfolio. I don't even know how to go about doing that. Because what if I like to do isn't what anyone is looking for?

Yeah, your portfolio is definitely the key ingredient for landing a job - It allows people to see what you do. The crazy thing is that they can be super complicated x_x; In certain instances, you may have multiple portfolios depending on the jobs you're looking for.

I definitely need to start revamping my own. Although I do have a job, I still need to prepare for the future. Maybe I'll start a thread on portfolio building? C:

That would be awesome! And actually really helpful. I'm sure I'm not the only one in our guild who would be interested in seeing that. ^-^
