Maura

Maura heard her stomach grumblng, completely trying to ignore it. Considering all the stores were closed due to what happened. For a moment, she should have thought about saving food for later on for occasional times as this.
Movement attracted her attention, as she walked towards the center of town. Seeing slaves around constructing, Maura only rolled her eyes, as she expected as much. One person definitly didn't look like a slave. Not one bit. Quite the opposite.
"Looks like somebody missed out here. On the chaotic nessecity." She was mainly directing her voice to the dwarf ahead.

And within a minute, Jaegar standing off to the side. Vaudenbau had appeared again. But, he was on the roof, his Butler at his side.

"Lasies and Mentlemen!" He began, holding his hand up in the air as he began a speech. "As you all know. You have been reduced to the very shitty life of being a slave. Yes. It sucks." He said, waving his hand down with a sigh, "HOWEVER!" He exclaimed, a large smile on his face, "I do plan to let you all go malnourished, and starved, and raped, and alone, and caged, and other terrible, monstrous things." He took a pause, holding his hand up to his chin, "Maybe I should stop naming the bad now..." He muttered to himself, then he suddenly perked up. "Ah! Yes! But of course! There is always one special slave! Always one prized one! Alfred!" He called, holding out his hand. The Butler pulled out a pistol, and place it into Vaudenbau's hand.

He began to pace, twirling the pistol between his fingers. "As we all see. We have five... Wait...." He paused. Looking at Soren. "Make that six new additions to our wonderful family!" He giggled, waving his hand in the air as he rolled his eyes at himself. "Oh how silly of me. Miscounting who I bought... Anywhore!" He cleared his throat. "One of you, will get to be my special slave!" He said as he gestured at the six. His eyes scanned them, the other four cowering slightly at his gaze.

He then suddenly cocked the pistol. He pointed it directly at the slave next to Seven. He had a serious look on his face, one that quickly dissolved into a grin of madness. "Do you have any last words, deary?" He asked, his grin only growing larger and larger. She had doubled over, hands over her ears as she bit down on her lower lip. Tears streaming from her face. All the other slaves seemed unresponsive, just looking straight up at their master. The other two has backed away from her, whimpering slightly. Vaudenbau just chuckled as she remained unresponsive, "Well then. If that's that... These are your final moments as a...." He stopped talking as he pulled the trigger, in which there was a loud CRACK from the gun....

...And suddenly, she was showered in confetti. "AN ORDINARY SLAVE! WELCOME MY GUEST OF HONOR!!" Some of the older slaves began to start laughing at it. While others rolled there eyes and smiled at their ridiculous master. Two females stepped forward and began to comfort her as she slowly stood upright. They rubbed her back gently and with bright smiles on their face whispered, "You'll get used to Master's oddness...." One of them wiped a tear away from her face and giggled slightly, "He really had you going, didn't he? What's your name, deary?"
"It's uh...." She was practically lost for words. "I-I-It's M-Maji..."
"Well let's go get you cleaned up Maji..." One of them turned to the other three to convince them to come to. While the other turned to Seven and Soren, "Would you like to come and clean up as well? I'm sure Master would love to see you both sparkling clean!" She said with a bright smile.

Pawtuck finally opened his eyes, groaning with pain. " i know i'm going to have a headache tomorrow, i just know it!"he said, putting his hand to his head. it was then that he noticed the girl staring at him in surprise, her weapon drawn. " I guess you saw me listening to the earth, didn't you?" he said, placing his hammer on the ground and holding his hands in the air to show that he was unarmed." My name is Pawtuck"he said, " I don't want any trouble, i just want to figure out what had happened"

Pawtuck frowned, then started laughing himself."Well, you're probably right."he said, picking up his hammer"Then again, you'd be a bit jumpy to if you'd just been listening to the earth screaming for the last few moments."

Pawtuck shook his head"No, those were screams of pain and agony i was listening to."he said, the sadness in his face plain to see"the earth around here was forced out of place by someone or something VERY powerful, and the earth does NOT like it."

Pawtuck quickly looked at the girl"you're telling me that one MAN did all this?!"he asked, looking around at the destruction"By the Forge of my Ancestors, thats almost to hard to believe!!!"

Pawtuck stomach suddenly rumbled loudly, telling anyone within a ten foot radius that he was hungry."uuh.. I hate to be a bother, but do you know where a dwarf can get a bite to eat around here?"Pawtuck asked, his stomach rumbling again in agreement.
