 She was shuffling throughout Greek mythology, when, suddenly, she got an idea. A smirk played across her lips as she ran towards the abandoned kid's section. She only had 10 minutes left with rows upon rows or books to sort through. "Screw this." She mumbled. Instantly, a black sphere melted out of the ground and bubbled up to her over turned hand. In an instant she got a picture of what she wanted. She breathed deeply and, with all her being, forced the ball out. Time pasted, her precious time ticking away. Ticking. Ticking... Ticking.......Finally, the ball returned to her, but, it was not alone. A skinny, three fingered hand was trailing out of the bottom of the sphere. And attacked to it was exactly what she wanted. Jeffrey Godwell's Guide To Mythical Children's Stories. She smiled, dismissed the ball, turning it into wisps that quickly disappeared, and took off. Even running at her super natural speed she wasn't sure if she would make it. But, with 12 seconds left, she shoved the book into Thomas's hands. Panting, she looked up at him with a sly smile on her face.

 Thomas listened to the woman speak. He had yet to find out her name and he wondered why he bothered to tell her his name. The other woman returned with a book and he smiled. indeed the woman showed promise and he would indeed train her in the art of the shadows. But he turned his attention back towards the woman on laying down on the table.
" We are all servants to someone. It is who we are to serve someone else rather then serve ourselves. It is my dream to break away from the dark lord and to create a Empire of my own. But I know that will never happen so I am a servant of the dark lord who is also my master. You may think that you had and affect on marriage. But marriage is nothing but a lie. Some people get married because they are weak and foolish and deserve nothing but death at the hands of men like me. " Thomas spoke in a calm voice
He then turned to face the other woman. He did not speak but nodded his head and pointed towards the door. He will go see her later when he was done speaking. He then turned his attention back at the woman laying down on the table.
" The Champion is Damien. He has been champion for a while now. But do not think you can get to him. He is not a fool like you may think he is. He is smart and knows to ignore his emotions just like I do. Now tell me more about yourself. You sound like a siren or a Succubus. Which one are you and how did you become one " Thomas said as he played around with the book in his hand and then threw the book away as he waited to see what the woman on the table would say

Bain sighed, "I went through all this trouble. Trying to kill a girl for you, three times as a matter of fact. Then running around doing your library shopping, and you're just gunna wave me off? Like some...Bus boy?" She snorted. "Well, I don't think so. You ARE going to train me, and you're going to train me NOW."

Thomas listened to both woman. The shadows around his body crackled as he was getting annoyed with the woman he was suppose to train. How dare she tell him what to do. He decided to answer the first woman first and then then the Siren voice one second. He turned to face the woman that dared told him what to do.
" You failed to kill the woman. And you got me the wrong book so no I will not train you now because you do not deserve to be trained. Why you deserve to be put to death for failing me But i am going to spare your life. And do not think just because your a hybrid you can defeat me because you cant. They feed off the shadows and I could use that feed against you easily then you may think. Now get out of my sight and meet me in the school yard. Then i will train you " Thomas said in a harsh voice as he turned to face the other woman who was still laying down on the table . The shadows around his body crackled once more as he looked at her not amused at all.
" No Siren your voice is so bad that it people in agony sound so much better. You can not charm your way to me because I am trained to ignored them like a person ignores a fly. So why in the world would you think that your voice was good is beyond me. I heard better from screaming people before they die . your voice is worse then a sirens actually. But hey. that is just me. " Thomas said as he stood up and place a hand on the woman head. The shadows around his body crackled with power as he allowed the shadows to flow though his hands. This might be painful for the woman but he would care less. He had to do what he had to do.
He lifted his hand off the woman head and stepped back as he looked at her and sneered " You should now be able to sense the shadows. It is weak but it is a start. But i will warn you that the shadows will slowly consume you. and soon you will feel nothing but pain. Nothing but the cold embrace of the shadows." Thomas said as he sat down to see what the woman would do.

Thomas chuckled at the Siren. Indeed this woman did not know what it was like to feel pain. The beginning pain was nothing but as the shadows slowly consumed the person the pain got worse and worse and worse. But those that endured that will pass the test. The shadows around Thomas body crackled with power as he crossed his arms looking at the woman.
" You don't understand do you. The pain you feel now is only the beginning of the pain that you will feel later on. The pain of seeing the flashbacks of those you once loved and died. The ones you have killed as their final words leaked out of their mouths. The ones that lost their spouses because of you. The pain only gets worse as the shadows consumes you. " Thomas chuckled as he remembered his own embrace. and how painful it was. But that is when he was just starting out and knew nothing else. Now he was the one that could make others embrace the shadows . He was happy that he was able to do such a thing. He cleared his mind and focused on the Siren once more." No you will not become a slave. You will just hear the voice of the dark-lord. You will listen to his commands and follow them out regardless of what you might think of the orders. But that is if you pass the test and not many have passed. But I do hope that you pass the test. Now.. You are a servant to the goddess of love Aphrodite who is the the worse sinner of lust their is ?. " Thomas said as the shadows around his body crackled once more as he waited for her response.

Thomas listened to the siren. Indeed the woman has no idea what it means to see the faces of those you been with flash before your eyes how it is you that is killing them and that they scream out in pain as you slaughter them with the shadows. Thomas chuckled to himself he was the same way as the woman and then when he seen the horrors of his past. It scared him but then it past as he embrace the shadows.
" Lust is still the same thing as love. You still have to care about the person to lust after them. But your kind does not understand this or does not see it. But that is alright. Your kind are just weak to begin with and you should be lucky that you are embracing the shadows and i am not killing you. but soon you will feel the pain the real pain of the embrace and you will either embrace the shadows or die trying. You can not escape its embrace.. Either in death or in life " Thomas said with a laugh as he clenched his hand and then released it and put his palm up. a shadow ball appeared in his hand and it was crackling with power.
" Let me help you embrace the shadows Siren. As soon as this ball enters your body. you will feel pain like no other. At times it will feel like something is eating you alive. But that is just the pain and then if you embrace it you will live and the shadows will crackle around your body. if you do not embrace it you will die " Thomas said as he sat back and released the shadow ball towards the woman. Now the fun really begins.. Thomas thought to himself as he watch the woman and the shadow ball.

Thomas watched. Yes the pain is finally getting to the Siren and soon the pain will get even worse before it gets better. He chuckled to himself as he watched the woman. yes.. She was slowly embracing the shadows and allowing them to cover her in their cold embrace. It was going to be painful but once the Siren embrace the shadows she will be on the path to becoming powerful. Thomas clenched his hand and released it as place his palm up and another shadow ball appeared. He slowly released it towards the woman.
" Good you are slowly embracing the shadows. Let the shadows consumed you and become one with it. Can you hear the voice of the dark lord yet. Can you feel the embrace as it consumes you. Can you feel it. Good embrace it and then you will be powerful . Release your screams of pain. Release them and embrace the hold hand of the shadows " Thomas said as he watch the woman embrace the shadows
