Celeste smiles back at the Moon Princess, "We haven't been introduced. I'm Celeste, Princess of Maia. Actually, we have only just met outside in the hallway. I hope to become good friends with everyone." She giggles as she watches Venus take off with the handsome Malachite. "Seems your friend has found herself a dance partner. Maybe we should do the same." Grinning she looks around the ballroom hoping to catch the eye of any available attractive men.

Princess Serenity smiles softly at Hotaru. "Alright, well if you change your mind I'm sure you'll be able to find a dance partner. I'm looking forward to it myself." Her eyes wander across the room searching for Prince Endymion. Finally she sees him being drug away by his companions over to the refreshment table. At this rate she didn't know when that was going to happen.

Rei notices that Serenity's attention was already drawn to the Earth Prince. Nudging her friend she tells her, "Why don't you go over there and talk to him? I know you want to, so what's stopping you?" She smiles widely her violet eyes shinning.

The Moon Princess nods, " I do..but.. I'm so nervous. I don't know what I'll say." She blushes at the thought of speaking with him.

Serenity once more looks over at the punch table and quickly gathers up her courage. It was going to take a lot of effort walking over there but she knew she had to. She would never forgive herself if she didn't at least say hello to him. Biting her lower lip she comtemplates how she is going to begin her conversation. Unconsciously tugging at her dress she asks, "Here I go...wish me luck. Oh and how do I look?" She smiles folding her hands together in front of her.

Rei grins, "Beautiful, now stop stalling. Get going before he gets away." Placing her hands on the Princess' shoulders she gently pushes her in Endymion's direction. "Just relax and be yourself. You'll do fine."

The Moon Princess tries to object, "But...I..." It was no use as Mars grabs her by the wrist and starts dragging her.

"If you don't ask him to dance I'll beat you to it." Rei turns and winks at the other girls. She knew that this would get her friend moving. In no time Princess Serenity was standing in front of the refreshment table, next to Prince Endymion.

Endymion was surprised to see Princess Serenity and Princess Rei walk towards him, and in an instant there she was. He'd never been this close to Serenity before, and for a moment forgot how to act. He just smiled nervously.

Seeing his friend wasn't going to snap out of his trance anytime soon, Nephrite decided to take the lead for him. "Hello, Princesses. Lovely ball tonight. May I be allowed the pleasure of introducing my commander, Prince Endymion?"

Princess Serenity smiles back at Endymion, her cheeks slightly pink. Her gaze barely leaving his as Nephrite introduces him. As if whispering she replies, "Why, yes it is...the pleasure is all mine."

Realizing that Nephrite was talking she glances over and smiles politely, "I hope you are enjoying yourself. My mother enjoys throwing these big events, at every opportunity she gets. " She once more gets lost in Endymion's eyes as she returns to gazing up at him.

Rei looks from Serenity to Endymion and then over to Nephrite."It's nice meeting you both. I'm Rei, Princess of Mars. Sorry for the lack of communication coming from my friend. She's not usually this bad at properly introducing people." Smirking she shakes her head."It seems the cat has got her tongue at the moment.

Hotaru smiled softly, "Yes, very much. This is the first party I've been to. It's interesting to see the different people and to meet the other senshi."

Michiru looks over at Maemei and Haruka raising an eyebrow, then turns back towards Hotaru half-smiling, "Yes, it is. I'm sure we will be getting to know each other fairly well soon enough. With our upcoming Senshi training we will be spending a lot of time together. I'm really looking forward to it. I suppose we better make our way over introduce ourselves to Princess Serenity, though it looks as if she is preoccupied at the moment." Princess Neptune glances over at the refreshment table and smiles to herself.

As Hotaru walked away, Haruka slapped Maemei on the arm. "Baka! Now you've gone and upset her when Setsuna-sama specifically told you to be nice!" Maemei, shocked at Haruka's outburst, opened her mouth to defend herself, but was cut off by the Senshi of Wind. "I don't want to hear any of your excuses. I don't want to be here any more than you do, and I know you hate crowds. You can still try to be sociable for once in your lifetime."

Before Maemei could make another move to defend herself from her best friend, Haruka was gone, walking off after Hotaru. Quickly finding her by the railing, Haruka silently walked over and leaned on the railing next to her. "It really is nice here, especially at night."
