Not even noticing Zeraxul's presence was only a small indication to how much of his concentration was fixed on the clothing. He was using all his skill on this task before him, both exhilarated and frightened. As his body poured out the force of his extreme emotions the adrenaline came. He could not- would NOT let him control him, this as the jedi call it temptation. For he was not creating just a center of his force, but a being. After 15 minutes he finished the connection, the sith rune of durability had been completed. Now he gave himself some respite before he continued on the sith rune of redirection.

Interesting...so this seemed to take enough focus for Thanatos to not even notie when someone was nearby. Zeraxul briefly wondered what would occur if he were to try and grab his attention while he was focusing...but decided against checking. That could be bad for him, as well as Thanatos. Rather, he'd wait until Thanatos took his next break. Once this happened, he'd clear his throat and speak.
"Well...having fun there, Thanatos? Or is strictly business of some sort, in preperation for tomorrow? Either way...you're sending off a beacon of power. I doubt that any Force sensitive on this planet doesn't sense whatever it is you're doing."
He then awaited to see if Thanatos actually noticed him this time...though he did not enter the room yet. He remained leaning on the frame of the doorway for the moment.

Taking in his respite was short-lived as Zeraxul made him jump. He had forgotten about others in his work. He silently berated himself for the lapse of judgement. For even when in a trusted environment... accidents could happen.
Replying to Zeraxul, " My my, that was my intention. Mayhap you can see that I have fully recovered from my... ordeal. But is it really that difficult to imagine my work? After all, if anyone on this planet would understand mine arte it would be you."
"Perhaps in the future I could help you with your own garments if I were so inclined."

Zeraxul raised an eyebrow. He intentionally gave off those waves of power? Then again...from what he knew of Thanatos, not surprising. He did learn from a master who was a little off his rocker, even if you never spoke those thoughts aloud. Who knew what his thought process was with what he hoped to accomplish with this? Other than obviously getting himself better prepared for what was to come, both in the immediate and more distant future.
"Yes...you do seem a bit less wobbly, so to speak. I can say that it isn't as easy as you might think, considering I never learned much of sorcery or alchemy...only what bits and pieces I heard of it. It's a rare gift, that I know. So...no, I can't say I really fully understand it."
He furrowed his brows when Thanatos mentioned he would possibly do this with his own garments...if Thanatos were to successfully do that, it would certainly be a huge benefit to him. However...knowing Thanatos, he would want something in return. Nothing is free after all. The only thing is....what would he want, and was Zeraxul willing to pay?
"An intriguing proposal. Let us say I was interested in accepting this offer, sometime down the line....knowing you, you wouldn't do it for free, am I correct? If so, your price may or may not change my mind on the matter...."
He let it trail off at that, figuring Thanatos could put two and two together. Zeraxul was really mainly testing the waters, seeing what Thanatos wanted from him. It was entirely possible Zeraxul would be willing to do this exchange...though it was also equally possible he wouldn't be. Time would tell...he already knew he wasn't going to immediately accept the offer. What Thanatos said next would really determine whether he considered accepting the offer later or not.

Thanatos responded immediately with a "hmph". Perhaps it was too early he thought. Zeraxul's curiosity was piqued and that was it. Thanatos did not see the craving of power he was looking for. It was a start though, a start down a long twisted path. But the rewards were... great.
"The only thing that is rare about my Arte IS the understanding of it. The sisters guard there secrets with much fervor. Their ways are one of the few who keep such practices... But I digress
Zeraxul knew him too well, but it probably was not that hard to figure out that he wanted something. Something that only Zeraxul would be able to provide. In fact, Thanatos wagered that his price would take longer than customizing Zeraxul's own garments.
"Yes I have a price, but this is down the line. I still wish to ponder if it is truly beneficial to me. Just a thought as we will be no doubt be fighting on the same line of combat. Since you are here, you might as well watch and wetten your appetite. For I have only just begun."
At that he turned back to the table and placed his hands on the left sleeve of cloth and channeled his power, quite differently this time. This time it was subtle, but no less powerful. His work on redirection had begun, and the beast that he had created ate greedily.

Zeraxul simply listened in silence as Thanatos spoke. He nodded in agreement as he heard what he said about understanding these secrets...he knew that the sisters were the main ones who kept such skills, and did not easily relinquish such knowledge. Most of the sith he had ever encountered were wary of these sisters...even the sith lords themselves treaded lightly when it came to them, to his knowledge.
As expected, it did seem Thanatos had a price tag with his offer. Not surprising at all...though he never did mention what this price tag was. That caused a small amount of frustration, but not enough to really be an issue at all. No...Zeraxul supposed he could wait to see what the bargain would need to be. He shifted his position, leaning against the doorway with his back instead of his side. He didn't see any harm in watching for a while, he supposed. Not like there was too much else to do at this point in the night, when everyone else was most likely resting up...or preparing to do such...for the next day's activities. Unless he wanted to watch the progress bar of his ship's computer...which was far from entertaining. So, he observed Thanatos, watching not only what he did, but sensing out the flow of the Force he was channeling.
Thanatos was far more subtle this time around, for certain...though when Zeraxul sensed the flow out, he could tell it didn't lack any in power. The power was just less obviously broadcast than before. As he watched, he pondered on how this sort of thing could be used to his advantage. Certainly, it would be a useful tool for use against his own master later on. One way or another, Zeraxul would cut him down in the end. Him and whatever apprentice he may have found, who might even be hunting him at this very moment. Zeraxul himself didn't notice his hands were tightening into fists as he thought about this all. He just knew that any extra bit of power could aid him in his personal goals, whether they came from him or not...

Redirection was was a trick he found out by watching Zakkeg. Zekkeg were taller than 5 men and somehow channeled the force around them, without there own conduit. No wonder they were so feared. For Thanatos found something that could absorb the force around them. As it would turn out, the Zekkeg was fearsome. It took most of Thanatos' strength to even dent the armor, but he dared not use the force for fear that the beast would feed off of him. Truly this beast was a test for himself. In the end, Thanatos used barbaric means to kill it, through traps and poison. Some would think it cowardly, but those some are probably of the light. The dark side helped him through his test.
Creating Redirection required more concentration than Durability. Thanatos in a nut shell was both creating a stable power source for the entity as well as providing something of a small bank for emergencies (just in case). Redirection Required all of the cloth, but it would be the background for the different nastiness he would provide. The whole process was took close to an hour. And Thanatos chuckled at what he was doing in his minds eye, it looked like he was knitting with the force.

Zeraxul watched closely as Thanatos worked. It looked very much like he was weaving threads made purely from the Force into this cloth. This sent a few chills up Zeraxul's spine from the implications of what this could possibly do, though he could not tell what these chills meant...it could either be pleasure at the thought of what power he might have access to should he accept Thanatos' deal, or it might be a wariness of sorts. Possibly even a combination of the two. For a while, hesimply stood there, watching.
After a bit though, he walked away...it had been about forty five minutes of watching Thanatos work, though it had really only seemed like five to Zeraxul. It was almost an art form, what Thanatos was doing. At least that's how Zeraxul saw it. However, he began to feel a few effects of fatigue setting in...this, he could not have. So he walked away towards where he knew the kitchens to be, and prepared a pot to prepare some hot, dark liquid that should energize him. It did not take him long to fix the filter and put the ground beans in, as well as start the machine. Nor did it take more than five minutes for the pot to fill. At this point, he grabbed the pot and a couple of empty cups, taking it all back to the room with him.
Once he got there, he noticed that Thanatos was still working, though the smell of the black liquid would permeate the room as he poured himself some in one of the cups, steam rising as he did so. Just as he was taking a sip, it looked like Thanatos was finishing up this current stage of work he was doing. He tilted his head before speaking.
"You are welcome to some of this stuff if you so desire...don't want you giving into fatigue and screwing anything up, do we? It wouldn't be any good for you to become a liability to the mission."
With that, he would motion towards the second cup that he had brought with him before taking another sipof his own. He had not brought back anything to lighten the drink and make it taste less bitter...he himself found that to be distasteful, as the bitterness was part of what removed some of the fatigue in his eyes. Ironic, in that he preferred this drink the way he dabbled in the Force....dark.

Finishing Redirection was Thanatos will admit, tiring. Sweat was beginning to form on his skin, but he was not at the point of ragged breathing which told him that he could make two more runes this night before he slept.
But then a smell permeated the room, he had indeed smelled it before. As he turned he saw Zeraxul bringing cups, the aroma was that of the berries that grew on particular trees on dxun. They gave him energy, and from Zeraxul's initial statement this concoction would do the same.
He replied, "Do not fear, I have different ways when dealing with my foes, and yes I would like some."
He took his mug from Zeraxul and at first searched the cup for poison or other miscellaneous hazards through the force. Working with alchemy he already had much resistance to poison though there were some that Thanatos was sure that he had not seen or heard of. Best to be safe.
He drank a small swig, and understood the use of the drink. It was bitter, it was hot, it was energizing. Such is the dark side. He now could add an additional rune to his list for this night.
"Marvelous concoction this is," he said.
He was content for the moment to sit there and take in respite. If Zeraxul thought that every force sensitive on the planet could feel him before, then this is going to be very... eye opening when he started making the sith rune for power

Zeraxul raised an eyebrow slightly at Thanatos' comment over what a marvelous drink it was.
"Have you never encountered coffee before, Thanatos? I would have figured you had run across it at some point. It's quite handy during long nights or missions. Only trick to remember is the crash at the end of prolonged usage can be.....quite hard on you."
He remembered one mission where he had never slept at all...Zeraxul had used coffee on it to keep from sleeping. It had worked...until the mission was over an dhe finally succumbed to sleep. He was out for a while...then next thing he knew was the punishment that came for sleeping too much. He had never relied on coffee too heavily after that. He shook his head and just took another sip. Enough reminiscing. He looked over to Thanatos, who was enjoying his coffee break for the moment it seemed. Zeraxul simply waited to see his response, as well as what he did next.

Thanatos replied with a shrug, "maybe I have, maybe I have not. In the face of survival I have forgotten a lot of things. Mainly things that are more miniscule such as speech or using the urinal. After a while some things just do not seem important until later. I have eaten this beverage's main ingredient though."
At that he returned to the task at hand. His posture made him lean on the table as he put both hands on the cloth, and the entity shivered in anticipation. Thanatos took in a deep breath and as he exhaled poured 75% of his power into it. His aura looked deadly and filled to the brim with power, after only 5 minutes his garments began to pulsate. Thanatos' willed the refined force into the second biggest rune he made in his minds eye. The rune began to shimmer with power. Little explosions began popping in the room around him, the pressure was that gargantuan. Thanatos' had no concept of time, this was a different world now. To him perception of reality had changed in this instant.

Zeraxul shrugged and went back to his own coffee as he watched Thanatos continue hos work. This time, he felt the static of power coursing through the room. He didn't even need to tap into the Force to see that this was no small amount of power that he was seeing here. Granted, he figured that Thanatos was pouring most, if not all, his energy into this segment of the job. He admitted, he was a little impressed. He just simply waited until Thanatos was done before taking another sip of his coffee in silence. He wondered what Thanatos' next move was going to be...

Thanatos had forgotten... this pinnacle of achievement he had acquired through the draining of his master's life force. In order to bring his power of this scale, he had to reach deep inside himself. However even with him reaching this milestone, he could still go farther. And he did. This moment of his power rising was... intoxicating. If it was not for the small voice in his head, begging him to stop. He would of gone over the edge and would have summoned madness. He was tired of madness. But the voice had a point, and point was to not destroy what he had created. He settled down as quickly as he dared. The robes did not have that much tolerance to be overpowered in such a way. So Thanatos stopped the connection. This took many moments before he actually settled down. After which he settled down and took a deep breath, adrenaline leaving his body. He sat there in silence, trying to figure out what had transpired. Searching his mind for what it was that warned him of the possible mistake he could have made. There was no trace of it in his mind. Thanatos was puzzled by this. Until he looked to his robes which then presented a new symbol on the back of the torso. It seems his moment of intoxication made... unexpected results. Immediately he set his mind to understanding the new symbol and explored its power through the force. What he found was the same small voice that begged him to stop before. It said, " Greetings master, I am pleased to know that I will live.Incredible! He somehow gave the entity intelligence! This was unprecedented, he had never before encountered this situation. Also it communicated via telepathy... (*Don't worry about it, I myself bring small paragraphs.)

Zeraxul raised an eyebrow as he watched Thanatos, at first, pour even more power into his creation...and then eased off slowly a few moments after. Thanatos also seems surprised to a degree, but also pleased. Interesting...Zeraxul cleared his throat before speaking.
"A unexpected, yet pleasant, result, I take it? I'm not entirely sure what it is, but I presume that things are progressing well?"
He simply took another swig of his coffee before pouring himself half of another cup. There was still plenty of hot coffee...no use letting it all go to waste. He then waited for a response from Thanatos, wondering exactly what was going on in his head.

Thanatos had completely forgot about Zeraxul. This time however he did not jump, which he congratulated himself on. Forgetting things made him jumpy.
He replied to Zeraxul, "yes indeed, sometimes the unexpected turns out to be rather...pleasant I think you said? Yes the unexpected things that happen in sith sorcery are what drove me to it in the first place. This would provide me something to study on the trip tomorrow." Towards the end he said the last bit to himself.
Then remembering he was speaking to Zeraxul he asked, " by the by, what is this room?"
