Yang packed away the last of of the materials the Order had provided in order to grant him safe passage into the Fire Nation

"Young Master, I must warn you, Blood is a worthy opponent. We know nothing about him or his abilities," said the old man worriedly watching as Yang packed.

Yang finished and through the pack over his shoulder, "I will be alright, Old Man," he said retrieving a small passport like booklet, "and this will get me into the Fire Nation safely,"

"Yes it will.." said the old man, "When you arrive you will be unassisted, the news of you becoming the Grand Master has not been spread yet by your request. You will be able to travel in silence and hunt down the target you seek.

Yang put away the booklet and placing a hand on the old man's shoulder, "Do not worry, I promised to lead this order as my father did I shall not die before I can do so....besides, Yang looked toward the desert, there's someone else that would be proud to see me grow,"

Yang walked from the upstairs and out of the tea shop his journey continuing onto another continent.

Pale green opics peered out from under the dark emerald conical hat. She was dressed in the traditional Dai Li robes, long and fluid against the ground with wide open sleeves to cover her arms. It had light beiges and shades of emerald with the Earth Kingdom symbol sewn to the front of it. Mai's hair was tied with a thong at the nape of her neck, pulling back the dark brown of waves she had.
The newly appointed Dai Li leader was treating herself with her success in getting the position, and a cup of tea would sooth her scratchy throat. The Earth Bender bended the stone gloves that she wore back into simple bracelets, though her complete shoes still coated her feet.

Mai moved up the steps of the Jasmine Dragon, getting to the top and putting her hands together. She smiled and kindly removed her hat before stepping under into one of the most famous Tea shops in Ba Sing Se. The rumors had got to the Xin Yu Manor in Gaoling, and her and her family took a trip here when she was younger. Mai's hat was now hanging from her neck down her back, and her pale eyes were able to survey the Tea shop and look at the little renditions they put in.
The female crossed the floor, careful to dodge the little commotion in the middle of the room. Mai settled into a table in the back and she could look at the front entrance and keep an eye on things.
"Excuse me," Mai's voice cracked, trying to get someone to take her order.

The woman looked up to see who had spoken to her. Mai flashed a gentle smile before waving her hands at the available chair at her table. "I don't mind. Help yourself," Mai noticed he had came from downstairs and she was wondering what was up there. But she shook it off, turning her attention to her acquaintance, figuring it would be nice to start up a friendly conversation, a waiter or waitress didn't seem to be insight. "I'm Mai Xin Yu." Mai pushed back her sleeve and stretched her arm out to the man, her hand offering a handshake.

The floor creaked and the bell tolled. The door opened and a figured darkened the way. There stood the boy his red eyes, surveying the shop as he walked in. He seemed determined and stronger than before as he walked past the normal tea serving portion of the shop and directly into the back past the stairs and to the old man. The old man looked up at him smiling, Yang looked down and with conviction turned to the upstairs room where few members sat and spoke proudly. "My name is Yang...Yang Kaido, son of Kozu Kajo, and I am the Grand Master of the Order of the White Lotus!" he traveled to the White Lotus designed chair and sat strongly surveying the room as they took in the news.

Yue Yao'an gave no visible sign nor expression that showed his mind went to a grinding halt. He realized that he needed to be careful with his words, or the Earth Kingdom official would rightfully suspect of being the one that tried to assassinate the Earth King. He was in a good disguise, but he still needed to be careful... he could tell that this Earth Kingdomer was no idiot.

"I made a lot of bad choices. I traveled all over the Earth Kingdom for a while, but then I returned to Ba Sing Se a few months ago to find my love. I found her, and we are deciding to get married soon. I want to change my ways and my life. The owners of this tea shop were so kind to grant us a room as we plan our future," Yue said without blinking an eye. It was a stretch, but was partially true. He indeed did love Hikaru, but the question of marriage hadn't been answered yet. And he didn't know if he and Hikaru had been seen as they were escaping the Earth Palace.

Back upstairs, Hikaru stirred in her bed as she was gently roused from sleep by the gentle sounds of activity downstairs. She sat up slowly, still weakened from her close brush with death, to blink in the soft light. "Yue?" When no answer came to her call, Hikaru felt a small bit of fear take root at the back of her mind. She quickly pushed it away and tried to convince herself that he simply went downstairs to the shop, but still...it had only been a day since his attempted assassination of the Earth King. Ba Sing Se was a dangerous place for him to be right now. What if... As quickly as she could, Hikaru hopped out of bed and began to dress too worried about Yue to stay in bed any longer. If she could just see that he was okay...
