When the earthquake erupted Makuri simply flew a little bit up, he didn't know people of Earth couldn't so he didn't try and save Kain.

Makuri sighed, he never expected earthlings to be so arrogant. "Fine, if we have to walk through the desert I will!" Makuri landed in the sands.

kain sat down in the sands, he took of his helmet to let his long blonde hair flow. soon after all the armour was off kain said.
"k guys time to make camp for the night."

Makuri sat down on a rock near his sleeping bag. He got some cactus' and lit them on fire for the desert got really cold at night.
