"Oh, well I'm sorry about your car problems then. I'm Lilandrea Scott. Please just call me Andrea though." Andrea looked at the floor and fiddled with her thumbs.
"My limits were tested by having thousands of people who couldn't speak a word in the same room with me." She held her head remembering the agony of all those thoughts she had heard at once.
She spotted Rei and smiled. "Who's this little one?" Andrea looked at him and noticed that he looked scared of her. She put her bag down an got on her knees and looked at him. "Hello there. I'm not going to hurt you." She pulled her pet bunny from out of her bag and pet her. Andrea let her go and she hopped over to Rei, sniffing him a bit.

Andrea stared at Lorcan and Aira. "Hello." She waved to the both of them. She smiled softly and looked at Niccele. "Who are these two?"

Niccele smiled softly. "I'm Lorcan's guardian. Aira is someone he made."
Lorcan grinned and burst out, "That's my power! I can make little animals, and apparently a fairy too. I havent tried beyond aira cause she's such a good friend." Aira smiled softly at her, then glanced down at the tired little boy.

Telia would have made another attempt to pull Niccele upstairs, but Lorcan had just made his appearance, so she gave up. If nothing else, she knew the assorted noises, including Lorcan's enthusiam would likely keep even a dead sleeper like her awake for a bit yet.
Besides, with the new girl being a mind reader, it would be better if Telia waited a bit before going to sleep. Just to be sure that the girl was well rested before any of her dreams, or worse yet, her nightmares surfaced.

Rei skittered closer to Niccele as he looked at everyone. He was more then just a little uncomfortable. His ears twitched as he looked up at the others. His horn peeking out of his bangs as he stood and watched the others. The new girl seemed interesting. He didn't look very scared but his heart was beating, and his thoughts were a bit frightened, expressing that he was scared of being hurt by one of the adults. His eyes were wary but he was looking more and more comfortable. His eyes brightened when they fell upon a sleepy Lorcan. He didn't speak though because a rabbit had hopped over to him. He tilted his head at the small rodent and bent down his hand reaching out and touching it on the head. He smiled then and pet the rabbit happily. "Like Rex!" He exclaimed and pulled out his pet and companion. Rex the rat.

Lorcan's eyes brightened, though still sleepy, and he ventured out from behind Nicceles leg to go over to by Rei and plop to his knees to pet the bunny too. He grinned a bit. "It's a bunny! So soft. . ." He smiled up at them

About the time everyone started pulling pets out, Telia quietly made her quietly back up the stairs toward her new room. She liked animals, but past experience had shown her that they flat out didn't like being around her.
It has something to do with the overly predatory way she smelled, and it made most smaller animals panic, while the larger ones tended to get mean. So to spare any unpleasant incidents, and questions, she simply relocated herself to her room, and put her music back on.

Andrea smiled. "She seems to like you both. Niccele, do you mind showing me my room? I'm a bit tired." She looked at Rei an Lorcan petting Jessie. "Jessie'll find me. She's a smart bunny."

Telia closed her door room door, and was immediately surprised how quiet the room was. She couldn't hear the sounds of her normal friends hanging out late for whatever reason, or the normal noises and ruckus that the inner city always provided.
Fact was, the house was too quiet for her to sleep, now that she had gone for a brief nap. Somehow, it never failed, and she growled quietly to herself in frustration. Her music helped, but not enough, so she cracked the door a bit, and the sounds of conversation, and the two young boys drifted in.
Still too quiet, but more tolerable than the dead silence from before. With a final yawn, she again attached herself hanging to the beam in the room and attempted to sleep.

Rei smiled at the rabbit and pet her softly, enjoying of the feel of her fur against his hand. But he was beginning to feel sleepy again and his eyes became hooded. He stiffed a yawn and smiled down at the rabbit and at Rex who was watching all of this quietly, too tired to really do anything. The boy bit his lip and looked at the others. "Tired." He murmured softly, his limbs again felt heavy. He looked towards the stairs and closed his eyes for a moment listening for the sounds of the other 'tenants' if one could call them that. The small boy wanted to sleep but his legs felt like lead suddenly and he was unsure if he could make it back up to his room. He scooped up a sleepy Rex and nuzzled the small rat. His body was still healing, and it was still in dire need of nutrients, it only made sense that he would be considerably weak. Especially while exhausted. He placed the Rat back in the pocket of his shorts and glanced from Lorcan to Niccele to Aira.

Niccele had stepped back a bit, out of the way. When she noticed Rei's trouble, though, she crouched down next to him and whispered, "Rei? Would you like me to carry you upstairs to your bed? I won't if you aren't comfortable with it."
Lorcan blinked bleeringly at Niccele, then grinned crookedly at Rei, and saw down on the ground where he was, rubbing his eyes. Crawling over to a chair in the living room, he leaned against it's back and fell right asleep.
Aira sighed, and tugged on a lock of his hair. "C'mon, Lorcan! Waky, waky, at least to get upstairs to your bed!" She sighed and gave up, falling to sit on his shoulder.

Rei looked up at the other. His eyes were unfocused and even though she was close he didn't move away like one would have expected him to do. He was getting comfier with the people he was meeting and that much was more then obvious. He only blinked at her for a long time. The boy leaned against her lightly, nuzzling against her a bit and closing his tired eyes. "Tired..." He murmured softly looking like the young child he was. His body was relaxed as he leaned against her softly, his horn not poking her from the slightly tilt in his head so as to keep his horn from poking her. His mouth was opened just slightly, his flat teeth parted.

Niccele gave a soft smile, then gently scooped him into her arms. Had he been the normal- the healthy- weight of an 8 year old, she probably wouldn't have been able to manage. As it was, Lorcan, two years younger and several inches shorter, weighed more that Rei. Her eyes grew a sad look for this poor child, left alone in a world that seemed to hate him. She slowly climbed the stairs, and when she turned on the landing and saw Lorcan, she sighed. Smiling, though, she continued on to Rei's room and put him in his bed. She realized that she'd kept a small potted plant in this room, and left it there.

(( Nyaaa... don't worry about it. I've been really busy the last little while *yawns* I wanna sleep... stupid school...))
Rei watched that smile that appeared on her face. He didn't move when she scooped him up. Even though he had never been carried like this before. He curled a bit in her arms and rested his eyes. His long hair was a mess. Ears drooping further and further which each step she took. He was falling asleep in her arms. He was so tired... how was he supposed to stay awake? He felt her open a door and then put him down in his bed. He curled up against and nuzzled his pillow. He yawned and his arms snaked around the pillow as if it was a giant teddy bear. Rex crawled out of his pocket and up onto the pillow where he lay back down and slept. Rei sunk into sleep fairly quickly. Dreams filled his mind then and allowed him to see the world as he wished it to be.
