Appearance: He wears lots of black: the pants, shirt, boots. his hair is blond and short. sometimes he is covered in blood because of his powers. He also wraps his hands in bandages because he has to cut his hands to use his powers.

Personality: He is a nice guy...with a demented side. He looks at killing as another part of the job of crime fighting...there is no room to pull punches. He also is a joker/prankster. He also likes to work with a team.
Powers:The control of blood. The power includes clotting factors.
Weakness: Because of his nice personality he sometimes gets into situations that could have been avoided, and he always tries to help people. Another weakness is that he faints due to blood loss and after big battles or huge events he might be hospitalized for excessive bleeding.
Skills: To help himself use his powers better, he read books on hematology, which is how he is able to he his body from clotting and cutting off the blood flow, burst blood vessels, and save the lives of trauma victims. Sometimes his body goes into a state where it takes over many of times saves Don's life during emergency situations.
Origin: Don grew up in a very dysfunctional household. His father was a drunk, and his mother a drug addict. Don first became aware of his powers at the age of seven when in a drunken range his father threw an empty beer bottle at him and caused a large gash across his face. As with any child he was frightened with the sudden flow of blood from his little body, he kept yelling "Please stop!" over and over again, until the blood actually went back into the cut and a scabbed formed over the cut immediately. His father was entertained of this spectacle that happened to his son. Every night since then the his father would cause him bodily harm to the point of bleeding just to see Don use his power to stop the bleeding, to his father this was better than watching T.V. When Don was 15 he ran away and lived on the streets for two years. On his 17th birthday Don noticed an elderly woman being attacked by a couple of men. Don stops them and fights them off...well one died, and Don felt right. The woman offered him a place to stay for saving her life, he took the offer. While at the elderly woman's house, Don decided to work to pay for his living expenses. He took mercenary type jobs, while on the side he would still patrol the streets helping innocent people. He came up with his little codename while reading about old medieval medicinal practices and he came upon the practice of bloodletting with leeches, he liked the name.

You could say that he can temporarily control people if he infects them with his blood. Otherwise if he can control anyone's blood then he'd be too powerful.

Hey D-Epic(I have nothing else to call you), I've wondered about your character. If he can sense that someone is doing something like moving scraps of metal, or trying to surprise your guy, can he hear everything else besides that stuff, like pebbles falling against other pebbles, people talking and cranes moving at a construction sight, etc.? Cause that would annoy me sad
