{Good luck with that one Brittanian, i'll post it where everyone can see it so everyone knows. No need to apologize, i totally understand. xD, And guys.. the battle is over i'm sad to say, so Lunia is returning to her training grounds in a few, don't know about Darkri. }

Darkri eyed her as she held the balde to his neck, not moving an inch, as he didn't want to make it so she was forced to cut him down; such a battle was not needed at the time. His eyes seemed to hold a sense of understanding to her feelings, as though he knew why she behaved the way she did. He said nothing, as he understood, and Lunia most likely understood as well that he was at peace with all of this. The Embrace, The Tears, The Threats. It was horrible, the complications, yet Darkri was so used to dealing with them that he knew that he was a puppet to fate. None of it bothered him, not anymore. He would just stare at her, waiting for her to make a decision. Cut him down, or behave like she would if they were in private.

Lunia just stared at Darkri, confused at why he wasn't making any movements. "Darkri..." she whispered to him, taking down her sword. "I can't do it... i can't just do what a captain would do..." she whispered, bowing her head, tears started to form in her eyes. "What happened to you? Why did you leave me?" she said, not looking at him because she couldn't. Tears dropped onto the sand, so you could easily tell she was crying.

"I had to do what I must..." he said calmly, his eyes shimmering with life as he observed her, curious as to how she remembered him after all of the time that had passed. He sighed softly under his breath, his heart aching from the feelings that he had locked away, as they were trying to let themselves out. "Lunia... I'm sorry I left... I just didn't want to get you involved. You know how I am. I am my own leader, and I have my own motives... but none the less... I never wanted to hurt you."
He didn't want to approach her, as any watchers could percieve it as an attack against her. He didn't want another fight... not now.

"No... i don't know how you are..." she said, shaking her head. "Not anymore..." she added, raising her head to look at him. She looked ever so upset, even more upset than when she lost her brother. "You never wanted to hurt me?..." she said, stepping back she let out more tears. "Maybe you shouldn't have kissed me and left me then!, maybe you shouldn't have made me..." she paused, looking back up at him with such sadness in her eyes. "Love you..." she added, finishing what she was saying. She just looked at him, her fringe covering one of her eyes. She just stood, waiting for his response.

Darkri clearly looked as though her words struck his heart, a pained look in his eyes as a readjusted his posture by leaning his weight on his other leg, and placing his left hand on his hip, while the other hand moved to rest on his face; in a manner that made him look even more stressed as he struggled to grip with the rush of emotional pain he felt. He had to be strong, he knew he had to.
Finally, he spoke softly, his voice grave with painful emotions trying to eat away at his collected, and calm demeanor.
"I... I don't know how I can make up for all of the years I've spent away from you. I truly did not want to hurt you... and that included hurting you by taking you down the same path I went down in order to tie up my loose ends."
He lowered his hand from his face, letting it hang from his side, his eyes red with with-held tears. He clearly was torn apart from regret about his own actions from long ago.

Lunia stepped forwards, before she stopped herself and sighed, bowing her head. "No, i thought you were different... i actually thought i'd found someone that would stay with me through everything..." she said, crying even more. "What ever happened to your promise to protect me Darkri? i've been in danger so many times and yet you never came..." she said, trailing off at the end. She looked at him, and closed her eyes. Within a few seconds she fell to the ground on her knees, not able to take the emotional pain anymore. "I still love you Darkri... after all these years... i still... love you..." she whispered, shaking her head in slight shame. "Even though i shouldn't because you don't feel the same anymore... i still do... and i will ever more..." she added. Looking at the ground, she shook slightly from fear.

Darkri stood there for a few seconds, eyeing Lunia with untold emotions, his expression numb, yet his eyes barely holding back tears. It was true, he had changed.
He had become horribly bitter, and resentful towards those who wronged him. His failures drove him to focus only on power, and nothing on emotion. It made him sick, now that he reflected upon himself. He felt wicked, truly wicked. He kneeled down beside her, before pulling her into a warm, caring embrace, though his expression never changed. His voice however sounded much warmer, and less numb.
"Don't say that I don't love you..." he said, sounding a little choked up now. "Don't say that..."
He lightly nuzzled into her neck, almost wanting to hide his face in shame. Over the course of time, he had lost touch with who he was. Most of his memories were lost, and his emotions deadened as he grew more deadly.
Now... he felt complete, just holding onto the one that he cared for. Still, it hurt that he had left her so long ago... all he could do was hope that she would forgive him.

Lunia got a slight fright when Darkri hugged into her, she cried louder and more because she felt whole again. She shook her head and slowly wrapped her arms around his body, bringing him into a tight embrace. She hid her face into his chest, crying like a baby. "You don't know how long i've waited for you to come back, part of me always knew you would come back..." she said, sniffing. She looked at his face and cupped his head in her hands, she just smiled through her tears and looked at him straight in his eyes. Seeing that they were a different colour than before, which threw her off slightly. "And here you are..." she said, smirking slightly. Before she just sat and stared into his eyes, hoping he'd feel the same way she was right now.

Shinji watched from the sidelines in a tree nearby away from everyone's line of sight hidden in a tree with a cloak over him hiding his face and smiled towards the captain.
"It's been far too long"
He whispered to his blade.
"When it's time I'll tell you, until then I'll supress our reiatsu."
He gazed towards Lunia and Darkri un-noticed.

Anubis enters the area, and begins to look around. He sees Captain Lunia off in the distance, but stays back, so as to not interupt whatever was happening.

Darkri continued to hold her close, his silver eyes glowing brightly like they used to, though the pools of silver held an odd glimmer of gold within them as he held her close. He smiled softly to himself when he heard her speak of how she anticipated his return, the feeling of knowing she had kept up her hopes for his return making him feel 'thawed' emotionally, though just a little more.
"You must know me well... I'm glad that you hadn't forgotten about me."
His voice was smooth, warm, and calm as usual. His presence was far more positive than it usually was, much like it was so many years ago. It seemed as though he was slowly getting back in touch with his old self.

{Really, Really... REALLY bad writers block... sorry, hope this'll do.. ><} Lunia looked up at Darkri, "Stay with me now, never leave my side Darkri..." she whispered, crying with happiness. She looked at him and touched his face with her hands, "Still the same as you were years ago, never once did i ever forget about your silver eyes..." she added. Before she just embraced him tighter, not wanting it to end.
