My Puchu Girl costume is pretty much completely different then. I bought a new tank top with a little shrug thingy so my arms aren't bare, and I have a little pink tennis skirt instead of the "can can skirt". Dear God that was ugly. *L* It's since been returned. xd
All in all I'm set on all my costumes! I'm just waiting for Todd to finish making my fouton beater!

My Advice for Making Cat Ears:
I love making them, and I've done about 5 pairs in the past two years.
I've found that the easiest way to get the ears is to just cut a diamond shape and fold it in half, then sew one side up and stuff it. If you can find one, it's a good idea to cut the tying-band thing off of one of those hair kerchief things that were really popular a few years ago. If not, you could always go with a long piece of ribbon that will tie around the back of your head.
If you can go with the ribbon, sew one side of the open flap to one edge of the ribbon, and the other side to the other edge. This will make the cat ears stand up nicely and even endure many pawings and scratchings. (Authentic cat behavior!)
I hope that helps someone. ninja I also hope it was coherent.

Celestria-san yeah, here are a couple: So, i need some small metal studs for the glove and the shirt You can try to go to a fabric store, I wouldn't suggest Michael's at all. I got a lot of the things I need for some of the cosplays I've completed from Hancock Fabrics. If you can't find studs, try buttons that would easily be confused for studs. :3

I like Michaels... It beats out AC Moore in any case, at least here in Greensboro. AC Moore is literally across the street from me, and I have never been able to find what I'm looking for there, for any project (even non-cosplay related ones)... My most frequented stores for cosplay: JoAnn's (we don't have a Hancocks), Michael's, and Lowes, as well as www.amphigory.com and www.electriqueboutique.com for wigs and shoes.

Advice for flat-chested. Ducktape. It'll be uncomfortable but it's quick and effective. You might need a friend to put it on you if you have long hair unless you tie it up. A more expensive option would be a tight jogging bra. Keep in mind that this won't get rid of large breasts but it will help.

a slightly less painful way is to use bandages, cause I imagine getting the duct tape off would hurt.... a lot...

Go with the jogging bra, that'll help a little and not be too uncomfortable. Duct tape hurts a little coming off yeah.

Do not use duct tape! It's plastic coated and your skin won't be able to breathe under it. I'd recommend if you have to use any kind of taping at all to use a theatrical supply called Gaffer's Tape. It is pretty much the exact same as duct tape in strength and size but it is a cloth based tape and your skin would survive better under it. We used it in theater under the bust line a lot to help push up cleavage and it can also be used to hice said cleavage as well.

Freckles can easily be gotten rid off with a little mascara. Of course this method works better for women than men. If you don't want to pay for it, go to the mall early and tell them you are looking for a good mascara to hide your freckles. They'll put some on to demonstrate their products. Just don't take a shower that weekend and you'll be good. A bath might be good though as too many cosplayers tend to forget about personal hygeine.
