Miyavi was like the 1st JROCK singer i ever herd... I like his songs because it reminds me of all the things my parents hate... sweatdrop so yea...

I'm not a fan of the first jrock band I heard....that didn't make them listenable. I don't really care if my parents like/dislike my music...so that's not what makes anything listenable.

For instance, I like Dokusatsu Terrorist because they are hilarious, I like Yogurt-pooh because they're catchy, Quruli because their music is gorgeously complex, Bugy Craxone because her voice is angsty rock sex...et cetra. Of course those are all the short versions...I could go on for quite a while about it.
