Snape, in a rare fit of compassion, ran out of the class and went to get the girl. "You came into the class, you should stay... it gets... better...."
He walked back in.
"Well let's get this duel under way. And yes, Jonathon. I will call on you next."
He stood in the front of the class preparing for the duel.
-let me start the duel, I'll be hom about 2pm iowa standard time-

"Well what do you know Snape has a nice side" Yami chuckled softly seeing her Professor pursue after the distraught girl. Hearing Snape annouce the duel to begin, Yami got herself comfortable waiting to see if anymore incident may bring her amusment. This ought to be quite interesting

Alx sat back in her seat and waited for the dual to begin she couldent wait to see Jon duel this would be very interesting!

Cahley, who was sitting next to Alx nudged her and said , speaking of her ne true desire ' I hope Jon scourgifys Snapes hair!'

-let me start the duel, I'll be hom about 2pm iowa standard time- -ok i will i'm not sure when i will be on next but i get on a lot during the day so i will post something soon after you- Serenity wondered why the girl was acting so strangely, but knowing that she had a duel to prepare for she just let it slide.

Jon grinned from ear to ear. It was time to put all of the long hours training with his dad in occlumancy to the test. He had always kept a battle stradegy ready for such an occasion. He blocked everything out of his mind so as to not give Snape the upper-hand.
Jon looked up and smirked. He aknowleged(sp?) the fact that Snape would be far superior to himself, but a scratch would be a victory for Jon.

"I think I'll start out with proper dueling stance. Face each other. Wands at the ready, which means put your wand in your wand hand and hold it like this out to your side. Next, bring it up to your face and hold it dead center between your eyes. Next turn, that 10 paces away from each other, turn and cast. Today... I'll go easy on you and say my spells out loud. But know, I don't HAVE to do so."
Snape walked up and pointed his wand at the floor.
"Tapitis." A moon phase tapastry flowed out of his wand and covered the floor in a straight line left to right in a line.
"Meet me at full moon." He walked up to the center of the tapistry, which was a full moon image. She quickly walked up as well.
"Wands at the ready." They did the hand motion.
"Present." They brought their wands up.
"Pace." He started and she soon took her paces too. Stopping at the new moon pictoral.
"Ready... and..." They truned quickly both raising their wands.
"Setris!" Snape yelled
"Barrato!" She said in time to create a barrior to block Snape's stream of red light that would have transfigured her into a statue.
"Nicely done. But, I think it's time to only have one more bout..." Snape wirled around and pointed his wand at her.
"Shattra!" Her sheild fell apart.
"Tentress!" A green fog hit the ground benieth her and swirled about her, forming tinticles that quickly pulled her down and bound her to the wall behind her.
"Don't struggle. It only gets tighter if you do that." Snape faced the class.
"Now, that's what you can expect when facing an opponite that is has more experience then you. But experience isn't everything. Young Jonothan here is wanting to prove that... so I'll give him the chance to. Right after I free Ms. Serenity from the wall." He strood up to her and touched his wand to the tenticals. They withered and fell apart and disolved back into the stone that had spawned them.
"You'll be fine in just a second. Don't worry. Go take a seat... and if you want a rematch, let me know... we'll arange one." Snape helped her to her feet and made sure she made it to her seat okay.
"Now I didn't say the spell that undid that hex, because I don't wnat you trying it else were. And if you can't reverse it... you might be less apt to try it. Now, if you'd be so kind Jonathon." Snape walked to the center of the tapistry and waited for Jonathon to come up.

The two went through all the basic steps.
Jon tried a basic spell to throw him off. "Expellius!" ((i dont know if i spelled it right and im too tired to look it up))

Snapes wand went flying towards Jon, he reached forward and caught it.
"I don't think so boy."
"abicio" He pointed at Jon's pants, causing them to fall down.

Jon flicked his wand to make them rise up.(windardium leviosa)
"Stupify!"
Before Snape could retort, Jon thought BARRATO to create a shield, then FORTITUD ANIMO!! to streangthen his powers. He needed the barrior seeing as this spell he invented took a little while, but would be able to finish in time.

Snape shook off his stuptify curse and stood back.
"commentatio" Snape thought and then pointed his wand at jon.
"adfligo" He said as the gray light came out of his wand and began to force Jon's sheild to break.

The spell was complete. Time to attack. "fulgor!" He shouted, sending a bolt of lightning towards his teacher.

Snape smiled as the lightning blot hit the reflection shield he'd put up earliter and just missed Jon's head. "Good spell, but remember, I don't HAVE to say my spells."
"conglacio!" Snape pointed his wand at Jon, causing the air in the room to drop in degrees and jon's legs to freeze up.
