Alyss sighed and began drumming her fingers on her knee as she watched everyone noting the appearence of the dark god and the wench. She grew tired of waiting not caring if more arrive, those who were already here were the one's most likely to know as it was. Standing up she stared acusingly at those assembled.

"Someone has a lot of explaining to do. I alowed myself to become demonised in your eyes to preserve the balence and what happens? I relax for only a short while and there is a major shift of power!"

Rin listened as alyss spoke up. She was right and she could hear that normal usual hiss when she was annoyed, but no matter, Alyss may very well be a goddess and if she figured this out then they were on even ground, for Alyss had broken a few rules too.

Turning to the new god of darkness and his little pet she gave him a bored glance as she stated the obvious to him in a less than courteous.

"It seems you are a bit slow on the uptake aren't you. Most here actualy know. There has been a major shift in power, meaning one island is more powerful than the rest. This is the reason why you were summoned? Or have your own personal activities blocked your senses!"

with that Rin turned head back to Alyss and watched in slight fascination as they placed guess who is stealing the power.

Alyss watched Rin, others wouldn't notice but she did, something was different and not just in the way she was acting.

"As far as collective knowlage goes no, this has never happened. The traitor Beryl was doing research on the subject so if it had he would know. However if his research has not already it should never be looked at and destroyed."

The past may give clues but this shift was not natural. Someone knows something they shouldn't.

Max sat silently, her balck eyes up and looking around at the other goddesses. Despite being black, they were kind. Only a few with in the room knew of her previous past and it was not something that needed to be discussed. Her eyes turned sharply to Rin whenever she spoke of personal activities to her god. "You'll do well to hold you tongue in these quarters madame. Personal reasons are not what have brought you here today and to speak of them is only stupidity on your part." she said sharply, biting of each word and hopefully driving the knife deeper and to top it all of she gave her a cheery smile before looking back to the rest of the table. "Continue.." she said with an apologetic smile to the rest of the group.

((Just pretend like I butted in right after she made the crack. xd Sorry!))

Rin chuckled as Max suddenly answered her back. It was odd usualy Rin would have shot her down by now, as was Rins way, but now she just laughed and turned away as the new earthly power coursing through her veins.

"Know your place servant of the dark lord. Or you will find you will no longer have a place in this world.

Snickering she turned her dark brown eyes towards the small turnout they had, it seened powerful being where short to come by these days and were drasticaly saught after. But no less, she is now the ruler of two islands, all be it forbidden and the rest did not know, But for her it meant that if any were to even try she could strike them down in one go if she so desired.

"Back to the business at hand. The power is something which threatens us all. If one where to have more over the others the result would be..."

As she continued to hear the rest of the sentence in her head, the words did not form from her nouth, Instead she remained silent as her noted small green vines creeping slowly around the snow of her seat. This was indeed disturbing. Rin always could hold back the truth of her power, but it seemed she was reaching her limits. Gritting her teeth she shot and icey chill diwn her seat and killed of the vines and stood rather abruptly.

"There things imust attend to. I suggest you all go back to your onw islands and think of the best course of action."

With that she left in an icey storm leaving only her winter rage behind.

Alyss sat with her arms folded getting more and more frustraited with everyone's attitude towards this shift. She was about ready to destroy the wall opposite her in her anger when something hit her like a knife through the heart.

"Beryll..."

She whispered it the sound only barely leaving her lips. She realised she was standing up and quickly took her seat once again but not before registering Rin's own discomfort. She sat confused for a moment or two untill Rin had left, at which she stood and walked over to where the godess had been. There was a rapidly melting patch of ice and within it the tattered remains of what were once vines. Rin you sneeky girl, what do you know?

"It seems we are not going to agree on anything here."

With that she left but not to her own Island but to that of ice and storms.

Jeanie Giggled as she lightly heard the visitors discomforts at her phrase and gently drifted towards the girls general direction.

"Oh i am sorry did i offend you at all? Oh well no matter. You see here you are a vistor. ou are not from this realm, all be it old...but still a visitor"

Her voice was that sickly sweet patronising tone to which Jeanie always took in order to drive a person crazy. It often meant she got a luagh and was recognised as a mischief maker....but what was the point in life if you could have a little fun right.

Slinking under the tree her golden eyes looked up as she took in every inch of this being aura and power...it was rathe intense and she could feel herself becoming very very powerful...a strrong boost of energy surged through. It was then and only then that she realized what this being was and it made her ever so happy.

"My my we aint your kind around for a while....muse"

As muses were orginaly a being of light concentrated, it was no wonder Jeanie found her soo quick.

Watching with slight concern at the sudden abrupt ending of the meeting, Varen too stood up, albeit much more calmly. Bending down to slide her staff out from unde the chair, she nodded once to the group before venturing outside to return to her home of the Watery Island, unfamiliar enough with these new feelings that she didn't notice the presence of the Muse.
