Karma giggled and ran her fingers through his hair out of habit. "Your very strong yourself, Rain..." She said with a faint smile on her face.

Alister sat and eaves dropped on the couple, it was harmless chatter and nothing more so he focused on other matters, would news of his slaying the human get around? would he be punished? Of course he couldn't, he was defending himself, there were witnesses here. Nothing more to do than drink his worrying away, he requested several bottles of port and sat, consuming them glass after glass in hell born speed, as the alcohol did little to him, so he had to drink in large and fast quantities.

Karma noticed how much Alister was drinking. 'If he keeps drinking like that he'll pass out...' she thought. She didn't know why she cared but she did. She just just looked away. "Rain...how much do you remember of your family?" She asked letting her hand just drop from his head. She was trying to think of what her family was younger. She couldn't remember much except for the abuse. She wondered what it was like to have a normal family.

Karma let out a sigh. "I've always wondered what it was like to have a kind family... my family was nothing but dark knights... and they abused me and thoughtI was a dissapointment... mistakes weren't an option... and one day... they just took it to far..." She said shaking her head to make the images go away.

Karma let out a sigh. "I hope my parents weren't a part of it... it must have been hard on you..." She said quietly then thought of something bring up thier spirits. "well, either way something good did come out of it... things happen for reasons right?" She said happily.
