* Vincent watched the spectacle from afar. The demons had no comment. He glanced around the site. A white, tattered labcoat cought his attention. Just as quickly as he had seen it, it was gone.
-Vinnie, remember what happened last time. Remember when we saw that Jenova creature? If Jenova lives, those who carry its cells dont die. Not physically. - You would not miss her soul? - Of course he wouldnt!!! Would you Vinnie? - :snicker: At least a shadow of her would still exist.
He ran to the area where she had dissapeared. Signs immedaitly came to his TURK trained eyes. Broken twigs, soft soil, signs of footprints. He followed the trial, until suddenly... It stoped. He glanced around. No one. A piece of tattered cloth waved on the end of a branch. He tucked it away. And began to make his way back to the others.

Kyou Nitsune (( Also when you think about it, the cetra could have been the ones to actually absorb low levels of this mako energy. I would think that if we were to connect VII and IX that the levels of mako would have eventually dwindled. By the time the Cetra died out, there was little to no mako to absorb. Thus leading to the constant sucking of mako from the earth to sufice for lost magical capability. If we look at the overall feel of VII and IX we can honestly say that IX had a much larger magical presense. If we want to get really technical, we can say our little reaction was due to a chemical change in the orginal magical source (mako in VII terms) much like an element decays overtime and after going through alpha and beta emissions goes through stages in which it becomes a different element. Sorry if that was a bit too confusing. xd )) ((I finished a Chemistry exam about half an hour ago, this seems like a simple concept to me. So does this mean that IX comes before or after VII. Also, in X-2 there seems to be an undertone stating that the world of X is the same world as VII but in it's past, if we were going to link any of the games then which ones, and what order should they be in?))

Vivi watched the red caped man curiously, it was like he was chasing shadows in the night, things that no one else could see. "I - Is there ... something wrong with Mr. Valentine?" He queried of Cloud, not certain about who Vincent really was, or what his motivations could ever be.

OOC: Actually, the reason why I had the Magicite turn into Materia when Cloud touched it is because it reacted to the higher Mako concentration in Cloud's body, and this caused it to more or less change into a Materia, and when it changed, there was a light that flashed, and since Vivi reacted the way he did, I decided to say that when the Magicite's shell shattered, it sent a wave of Mako energy surging through the air, and that wave passed through Vivi. Being overly sensative to Mako, Vivi was hurt, and that's why Cloud said Vivi can't come because the massive concentration of Mako energy in the Magicite mines would probably kill him with or without the Filtration Units. So that's my story.

He queried of Cloud, not certain about who Vincent really was, or what his motivations could ever be. Cloud looked to where Vincent was heading and decided not to leave him alone in there. "Stay here, everyone," he said, "I'll be back in minute." Cloud continued into the sleeping forest where he met up with Vincent and simpley looked to the crimson gun-man.

Also, overtime the magical source could have renewed itself over the time span between VII and X. Although technically that defies the laws of Physics, we have to remember the magical source is a bit more like a living thing. Tearins theory can work all the same with this list of theories we've compiled. ))

OOC: I don't get it. How can people think that VII and X are the same world? VII and IX, yeah maybe, but that's only because they're both called Gaia. X's world is called Spira. How can they be related?

OOC: Yeah, but that would mean that only Spira and Gaia-VII are one world, but IX couldn't be there. The technological levels don't match up.

Beatrix sighed, Zidane had to much faith in people... "I see your point..." she then proceeded to remove the several stones she had found after arriving in this world. "So I imagine These are Materia?" she said holding a Yellow and two green stones... "How do they work exactly?" she blinked.

Kyou Nitsune (( I think the process is IX-X-VII. That way everything adds up fine. )) OOC: I beg to differ. No society's going to name their planet, rename it, and then rename it again. But this isn't a debate tread, so let's stop talking abut it.

((ooc: Why does it matter? I was thinking more along the lines of there being no connection - the technology in the worlds are too different. Vivi doesn't like it because he felt the Materia's pain more then anything else, what with his being a pure magic and soul construct. The worlds don't need to be connected for any other worlds magic to hurt him in that way.))

when Vivi had recovered himself enough, he started to feel something different inside; he closed his eyes for a second before realising what it was. "Different," He murmured, he moved from the main group and started to cast something, a bright, vibrant blue spell circle rising up around him. "Watera!" He yelled and let the new spell go.
((ooc: So we don't argue about it, Vivi learnt a new spell when the magicite exploded. He does that everytime, however, as you've seen there are side effects, such as going wonky. This was Elec's idea, *nods* Nice idea boyo!))
