when they reached the battle grounds Adell smirked evilly." im not going to hold back this time. im going to end this once and for all and kill you myself." he said as a dark mist gathered around him and his eyes began to glow red

Trying to gain her composure... she wasn't sure what to do now.
Just then, Yumi just brought something up. "Hey, I read that a demon could be reincarnated if a--" she was rudely inturupted as demons dog-piled her, trying not to let adell know the process. It wasn't like he read books, anyway.

Adell looked over at Yumi a bit confused at why all the demons were on top of her."oh well, anyways lets begin this shall we?" he said as his blade turned pure black with red markings on it symbolizing fire and darkness. he rushed at the demon with full force swinging his blade as the shadows crept up behind and all over the feild

"Meh, I need to release some stress anyway-WOAH!!" she blocked his sword with her trident, but it began to crack in half. "Aw, man!" this made everyone sweatdrop.
She swung her trident at him, but it broke upon contact, leaving her with just the stick end. Even his shadows sweatdroped.
"Okay, someone please explain to me how she became overlord..." A wood golem called out.
"Sigh... My sister's so gonna hang me when she finds out about this..."
"Find out about what?" A voice called out. "And why are you bothering Adell...kun...... is that...?"
"Ahhhh... thanksforthewarm-up,butIreallyhavetogoSeeyou!!" the nereid said quickly before she fell, feeling something grab her ankle.
'I'm toast...'
[A few minutes later...]
The nereid was on the ground, uncouncous from lack of air. though it's true that nereids can breathe underwater, her neck was clenched at the time, preventing her from doing so.
"Sorry that it came to this, Adell-kun." The demon Lord/ Nereid said apologeticly. she then looked around and saw a couple of unfamiliar faces. "Who're they?"

Adell drew back his sword and his shadows vanished."well if you live then dont go challenging me again. im starting to get pissed off at all these quick battles." then he turned around looked at other demons she was talking about."who? you mean Etna and her dumb little vassals?"

Blue jumped down from the rafter, landing on her feet."I really hate to interrupt, but if it's a good fight your looking for, than I'd be happy to oblige. I've been tracking you down to see if you'd put up a decent one."

Adell laughed."ah so your an ice demon? well then this should be very interesting since i masted the art of fire. and you should know by now that i use the darkness as well." then he lifted his sword and stuck it on the ground. as he did this the ground split in half and the mountains became active volcanoes, and the lava started to come from the ground. his eyes became red as if blood mixed the the burning flame inside him." fire and ice battle to see which is stronger. and by the way you will never defeat me, for last couple of years i have been holding back. but not anymore im going all out." his scarf now had flames on it

"So, you wanna spar off?" Yumi asked Makka, finally crawling out of the pile of demons.
"Uh, are you sure about--" Makka got inturrupted as she got pulled along the field that wasn't so metamorphed.

"Great, I won't have hold back either then." Her eyes glowed pure blue, and spikes of ice rose behind her, freezing half of the ground. She raised her fist into the air and as she did an ice pedestal shot up under she feet propelling her into the air.

Adell smirked as he jumped into the lava and started to swim in it unharmed."can you get me now?" he taunted

She dove down from the pedestal, but not aiming for Adel. At the edge of the lava pool she punched the ground sending large rocks into the lava, she grinned and said,"Try swimming in that."

Adell disappeared in the lava just when a volcano erupted he jumped out of it and appeared right next to her."lets see what happens when i do this." he said as the lava turned pure black as shadows entered the flames. then he jumped away from her, he wanted to make this battle last a long time
