Lintana felt the sharp pain all the way down to her feet. She was back in her own body and looked at Esiel. She took a deep breath. Saterth was a rocket launched into the sky. The other Bronzes rose to ehr challenge. Lintana felt herself rise with Saterth. Again they were one. Saterth-Lintana swerved most gracefully up and past the clouds. The bronzes wings were working twice as fast as the queens suprior wingspan. A few tried to outfly her but were soon out of all energy and came back to the ground. The rest were trying to out manuver her. Saterth-Lintana laughed at their weak trys. As she slowed to mess with their minds a bronze came out of no where and ran staight into her side. Saterth-Lintana dropped many feet before recovering. Now Saterth-Lintana were agitated. She bugled in challange and zoomed straight upwards.

Eisel relaxed as Lintana resumed her oneness with the gold, her features looking a little more normal for a weyrwoman whose dragon was Rising. At least she didn't look so much like a lost child. That was good. She scrubbed her palms on her thighs and pushed herself to her feet, her eyes casting around the crowd for Z'Arian. She went to him and sighed. "She can handle the rest herself. She's done this before," she commented bleakly, painfully aware of Lintana's plight.

Z'Arian pulled her close, and nodded. "She'll be fine. Don't worry. I'm sure that you won't let anything bad happen to her anyway." He smiled at Eisel. There was something about this that didn't feel right though.

Suddenly Saterth-Lintana was surrounded on all sides by the bronzes. They were closing in on her. She looked around noticing none of the bronzes were him. Saterth-Lintana cried out together on a painful discord. Pain more from the heart than anyting physical. Saterth-Lintana dropped. They plumited to the ground at a dizzying pace. There was no effort in trying to stop.

"Shards," Eisel swore under her breath, pulling away from Z'Arian. She shoved her way through the crowd of bronzeriders with brutal efficiency, plowing down those too slow to avoid her. "Lintana, get a grip!" she shouted, shaking the woman by her shoulders. "You can't die!" Her breath caught in her throat. She hadn't actually thought that was a possibility, but now...she bit her lip and glanced around desperately. Her gaze fell on a bluerider, and she barked a command. "Get me the Head Woman," she yelled through the throng of recovering bronzeriders. If she could only find the man Lintana was about to die for lack of...

Amongst the bronzes, a new face appeared. No one noticed at first, but when the dragon flew with an unseen grace, it became very apparent. The newcomer was pulling loops around the queen, who seemed very puzzled. At the same time, a voice in the crowd was calling out, a voice no one had heard in a long time. "Lintana! Lintana!" A man pushed through the throng of people, and Z'Arian watched as J'rel appeared among the many faces.

Saterth-Lintana sharply pulled up out of the near fatal dive. A loud bugal erupted from her throat. She quickly entwined with Tarkerth. Lintana screamed from her own throat and tears ran down her face.

J'rel shoved through the crowd. He found Lintana with a young girl he hadn't met before, and ran to her. "Lintana! I found you..." He ran over and took her swiftly into his grasp, thanking the young girl that was helping Lintana so much. "How could I ever thank you?"
Z'Arian appeared behid J'rel and slipped over to Eisel. "Way to go Eisel." he patted her shoulder gently, and looked over to J'rel. "You have a way with being in the knick of time, you know that?" Where had he been this whole time...He shook J'rel's hand, "I'm Z'Arian, this is Eisel. "

Eisel blinked up dazedly at J'rel and Z'Arian. "Thanks," she mumbled, a little shocked at the sudden change of events. She took one look at Lintana and decided she wasn't needed and quickly fought her way out of the cloud of now-confused and rather disappointed bronzeriders. They put up a lot less resistance than before. She sighed and sat down on the grassy Bowl floor. Umbrielth, she called wearily, reaching for that familiar mental touch. Here, Mine, the queen crooned back, setting Eisel at ease almost immediately.

Lintana held onto J'rel as if she were to let go it would mean death. She cried into his shoulder.

J'rel pulled her with him through the crowd, supporting her as they went. He had been gone too long, and could only dream of the pain she had been in. He swept her off and the crowd watched in confusion.

(OoC:NEW DAY) BiC: Lintana woke up suddenly and looked around with her heart racing. She saw J'rel laying next to here and she almost fell into tears. For a split second she thought it had been a dream.

J'rel was looking at the ceiling. He felt the motion of Lintana moving, and looked over at her. "It's been too long. Looks like I came back just in time."
Z'Arian slipped out of bed, pulled on a shirt and different pants. He went to go see if Esiel was okay. She was a little shaken yesterday with what happened. He went to her doorway, seeing as how they weren't in the same weyr at the present. He knocked softly on the wall, "Eisel? You up yet?" He said softly.
